I enjoyed my salad and have had their tacos before and they are good as well. There are lots of options and pricing is reasonable. Monday night they have free bingo, tuesday night trivia 6:30-9, and Wednesday they have .99c tacos. I would recommend the beef over the chicken. Great place at first. One of my favorites is a tamale. Theirs id mostly masa with a tinyh bit of meat in the center. Went also to 3 Amigos and their tamale was an order of magnitude better, masa on the outside but lots of meat in the center. read more

I rode past this place one day and the parking lot was packed. I thought oh the food must be good in there! Well I asked a friend and my daughter if they wanted to check it out. We went and it smelled great inside. There was a live guitar and singer and it was packed. There was a small wait time. Our waitress was nice, really the hostess and manager were great as well. The manager was walking around asking was everyone ok, etc. and gave us a little history lesson about the name of the place. We were here on Taco Wednesday! $1 tacos. They are basic tacos, beef, or chicken with lettuce and cheese. But with a side order of guacamole and Pico de Gallo you can dress them up. Even with an adult beverage it's an inexpensive dinner. Our server was friendly and efficient. He even brought extra chips. It was loud and very busy. Almost every table had kids. Tacos must be an easy meal for them. No fighting to get a 3 year old to eat a $15 meal if you can get them $2 worth of tacos! read more

I'm used to true Mexican cuisine since my step father and uncle (who are Mexican) cook on a daily basis or special occasions (so I do know how it should be)!! The food here was very bland and I'm used to a lot of flavor and spice. The Fajitas for 2 had no seasoning to it, and all you could taste is the bell peppers and the onions. Along with the Enchiladas Verdes, it was very plain, the green verde had little to no taste. Best Mexican food and service in Cobb County. We drive 30 minutes to get there. The staff is always pleasant and smiling. The salsa, queso and chips are the best. Have never had an entree I didn't like although the Chewy dinner is my fave, either chicken or steak. Full bar with great margaritas. This is set up like an Applebees. The service was friendly and great. However the food was lacking flavor. Spices and salt were missing. Even the salsa served with chips was bland. The margaritas are made with a mix that contains gluten, so my daughter with celiac couldn't have the house special $4.99 per glass. She opted for the Skinny Margarita that was GF. We found out that on Wednesdays they have $1.99 tacos. And the teacher discount for 15% off your total bill makes it worth the visit. read more

The food was a D+. The tamale was hard. The salsa was the only good thing. The service was sloooow and they weren't even busy. Our server had a sour expression the entire time he served us. Never said please or thank you. Not once. He was curt bordering on surly. The beef in the tacos and enchiladas, the rice, and the refried beans were completely flavorless. We won't be back. This is just a couple of steps above Taco Bell. This is Mexican food for people who don't know what real Mexican food is. Now I'm sick to my stomach. We should have walked out the second I almost cracked a molar biting down on the tamale. The tamale filling was flavorless of course. I eat lunch here often, I love the salsa. The lunch menu is awesome and all of the food is really great for the price. Recently started trying to learn Spanish and the bartender was really great and helped me practice. The Restaurant is always pretty quiet for lunch time which is nice for lunch. They get you in and out in great timing so if your in a hurry it's convenient. The portions are huge I normally drop off half my meal to my wife to eat as well. By far the BEST Mexican food in all of Cobb County!! We we're here just before closing time on Friday night and every single employee work together and sterilized mopped and cleaned every table every chair every booth in the restaurant. They apparently split task as the kitchen runner delivered the food quickly. Our waiter went MIA. Ask for more chips... never showed up. No salt and pepper on your table? Get up and get it yourself. Want a refill on a Coke? Get up and get it yourself! The dude kept walking by, but never checked on us. Bathroom cleanliness was questionable. Had to ask for the check so we could get out of there. Walked in and there was a 20 minute wait, we walked out to the car right outside the doors, the buzzer went off after about 2 minutes of waiting and we immediately walked in within 30 seconds of it buzzing, if that, handed them the buzzer and they said they were cleaning a table off for us to be seated and then she walked away and came back and gave us another buzzer and said they were putting us back on the wait because they "buzzed us 5 times" and decided to give our table away. REALLY want to love this place. My girlfriends and I have been going there at least once per month for lunch and margaritas. We were there this past Friday and were a MAJOR inconvenience to the staff. I would totally understand if they were short-staffed as many restaurants are these days, but the servers were rolling silverware and playing/texting their phones. We literally had to walk over to get noticed. My tacos normally came out on flour tortillas (which I LOVE), but this time they are out in corn tortillas (which I Hate). Took one bite and HATED IT!!! Server didn't come back by until it was time to clear plates. To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. We would have spent WAY more money and we even tip VERY GENEROUSLY when service is good! It will be a while before we go back. Nope. Not going back to Mexican Applebee's. The wait staff was nice enough, but that's it. I had a cheese and spinach quesadilla, and my dinner companion had a shrimp quesadilla dinner. The food was ok. Here's where things took a turn for the worst - a server wearing a mitt on one hand brings our food. My plate wasn't hot, but my companion's plate was scorching unbeknownst to her, that is until she burned her finger. The server never mentioned to be careful because the plate was hot; he just set it down and walked away. My companion had to stick her finger in my ice water. She mentioned this to our main server, he just smiled awkwardly and dassit. No sorry, no can I get you something for your finger. Nothing. I then ordered a side of guacamole....nothing but green salt for a whopping price of $6. So disappointed. The least they could have done was comp her meal, or even the guac. Just ok food, do yourself a favor and stick with La Parilla next door in the Publix shopping center. Ordered Chile Colorado with steak and rather than it being meat cooked in the sauce like most places they sliced some steak and poured a sauce over it. It wasn't terrible but wasn't very good. Guacamole was very smooth and reminded us of something you would get at a grocery store premade instead of something fresh. We love guacamole and hardly touched it. My family always traveled to the Dallas location but after this location opened, it's our new spot. It's bigger so there is less of a wait . The frozen margarita machine makes the best and most delicious margaritas in north Georgia and the specials are always delicious . We find ourselves going twice a week but only because they're so clean and using every precaution to keep us safe. We do miss the Dallas Ga locations ambiance but this store will be adding a patio section soon :) then once covid is over I'm sure they'll have the same bingo, Karaoke and trivia nights!
