This was my first time visiting Cielo Blue. It is a cute restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. We were seated pretty quickly upon entering the restaurant. Our waiter was kind and attentive throughout our visit. I ate the taco salad, which I would not get again. The shredded chicken did not have much flavor. My friend enjoyed her quesabirria tacos. My other friends had the southwest salad, one with chicken and the other with salmon. She said the grilled was good, so maybe I'll try that next time. read more

I did not enjoy my experience at this location. I hope the experience was due to low staffing instead of bad customer service. My party ordered and it took a very long time to receive our order. My order came out incorrectly and was missing items. I had to wait 10 minutes just to receive the items I was missing. We even had to ask several times for water and water cups. The food was ok but not worth the price. We ordered drinks and It took 45 minutes to receive our pitcher of margaritas. I did enjoy the margaritas so that's where my stars come from. We ordered more drinks and they showed up after everyone was done eating and checks were being passed out. We sent it back as we were leaving. The customer service is non existent. I hope they are able to fix this issue soon. It would have been nice for a manager to come to the table to apologize for the mistakes and long waits but we never heard from anyone. read more

I don't leave reviews often, and most of the time, I try to leave for a job really well done, but this experience was awful. We ordered: table side guac, cheese dip with pickled jalapeños, two orders of southwest eggrolls, half a pitcher of margaritas, a strawberry mojito with Bacardi rum, and two extra salsas. Guac was good. Needed salt, which we were able to add ourselves. Cheese was cold. No jalapeños. Eggrolls were good. Drinks tasted good. Salsa didn't come. Server came back, we asked for the cheese to be heated up - she took it with her. Asked for salsa again and more sauce for the eggrolls. The cheese came back, not hot. Got the salsa. Got a sauce that was not the same as the sauce with the eggrolls. And then we discovered there were beans at the bottom of the cheese dip. We sent it back cause WTF? And then my head started itching. I order Bacardi because I'm not allergic to it. Lesson learned that I'm just going to have to always say I'm allergic to other alcohols, so it *has* to be Bacardi. The server would disappear for long periods of time. The cheese and the mojito were supposed to be comped, they split the check, they did it incorrectly, but instead of continuing to argue, I just paid the bill. $90 for the things above plus three tacos to go. 1/3*9=3. They charged us for three orders of the eggrolls, but we only had two. She couldn't show me the full itemized receipt. Whatever, we won't be back, obviously. Just be careful if you have allergies. Or choose one of the many other Mexican restaurants in the area. read more

Cielo Blue is close by and the obvious choice for my taco craving this past Tuesday. Their Taco Tuesday special can't be beat!!!! I had 3 regular beef tacos (99 cents each). We also had margaritas on special! It was a feast. My boyfriend had one beef, on chicken, and one carnitas (1.99). He said he wasn't feeling it when is selected Cielo Blue but that it was so good he couldn't help but eat it all (he also had rice and beans for 1.99! In addition to the taco specials they have margarita specials and they will add fresh jalapeños!!Service at this location is usually friendly and quick. However, new employee advised that same and standard option is not available with flour tortillas. Turn out not to be factual. Food isn't bad. I've given this place several chances but have to say I won't go back. I was hoping they could iron all the kinks out but it appears they can't. The service is all over the place. Last night it wasn't the waitress (she did her best) but everything else was simply off kilter. Wasn't busy. We actually got our cheese dip before any chips and it took awhile to get chips. Not bad if you don't mind eating the cheese with a spoon. Order preparation is inconsistent. Bar always backed up even if there are few patrons. One night wife never got her drink. The bartender was so overwhelmed when I said we would be leaving he just said "ok". He didn't try to convince us to stay- I don't think he needed the customers if he wasn't going to get any help. He wasn't rude, he was just knowshis limitations. 2 managers seem to walk around staring. They don't lend anyone a hand. Odd but oh well. Wanted it to work but it just can't. Again, the food (I always get steak burrito) is quite good. If it wasn't decent food I would have given 1 Star. Well we have been having food delivered from here via Uber Eats quite a bit. I have eaten at other Cielo Blue establishments for years (Windy Hill, E-W Connector, now renamed Luna Maya) and always had good experiences. I decided to try the West Cobb location. The server was very attentive but the steak fajitas were lacking, not only in taste but also any accompaniments. When I asked where the pico, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, rice and beans were that normally come with fajitas, I was told they have never served them at this Cielo Blue location. Well for almost $15 for a plate of medium steak on a bed of onions, peppers, and tomatoes, I won't be back to this location. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant that didn't serve accompaniments with fajitas. I guess there is always a 1st time. For me it will be the last. The 3 star rating is to at least acknowledge the positive service provided by the wait staff, without them this would be a 1-star review. read more

And with no apology at all for the time it took. Absolutely insane that our server even has a job. 40 minutes to get our food and another 25 to get our check at 6:30 on a Tuesday. The server only came to the table to take our order, bring our food and bring the check. Not once did they offer refills on anything or even see how we were doing. We eat here at least once a month. We usually order the same thing every time. Last week, our server spoke VERY little English. My order had multiple things wrong, after she confirmed it with me twice. I asked a manager to fix it, at which time she told me she doesn't understand English very well. I'm sorry, but you don't have people wait on customers who do not speak English. Number one, your customers aren't going to be happy when their dish comes out wrong. Number two, you waste a lot of food, which makes your costs go up and these get passed on to the customer. You lost us as a regular customer. read more

Reading through some of the older reviews there were complaints of service, but I know they have changed management once since they opened. As to the food, here are a few things to try: Bombasa - If you haven't had this, but you like rice and cheese, try it!
