I ordered the fish and chips, and she went with the burger. The food was outstanding. She, of course, helped herself to some of my fish and chips, while I managed to leave her burger completely alone. I think that was a fair arrangement... at least according to her. What really made the evening was the atmosphere. It was warm, comfortable and relaxed--exactly what we needed at the end of a long day. The service was just as it should be: attentive, friendly and genuinely warm, while still giving us the space to enjoy each other's company. Sometimes the best dates aren't the ones you spend days planning. It's the spontaneous late-night dinner, sitting across from someone special, sharing a few laughs and enjoying a good meal together. Lazy Dog gave us exactly that kind of evening. Great food, warm atmosphere, wonderful service, and most importantly, a really nice night.

Overall, this visit was better than my first, but I don't see myself coming back often. Instead, I've consistently felt judged, stereotyped, and treated differently from others. Whether intentional or not, the pattern of behavior has left me feeling that I was treated unfairly because of who I am....feel like this place is racist! A restaurant should make every guest feel welcome, respected, and valued. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience here.
