Wow. Best food. Order the ceviche, street tacos, and don't miss the guacamole and chips. How did we miss this before today??? Clean, quality food and very kind people. Honored to be a customer and recommend you become a customer too. Our thanks to this wonderful eatery... que bueno!!! read more

Surprisingly delish Mexican food stop between LA and Las Vegas. Got lucky during our pit stop and found that this place was highly reviewed. Glad we came across it because it's quick and delicious Mexican eats at an affordable price. I got the tacos and went with the al pastor, carne asada, and carnitas. Full of flavor!! Really classic style and they have a salsa bar so you can add on some other sauces or toppings. There's also the World's Largest Thermometer attraction nearby too! Pretty fun to see on the way. read more

Decided to try this as we were passing through. Drinks and salsas were good. But this place didn't live up to its hype. Food was not that good. It was one of the worst Mexican restaurants I've been too. We got a chicken bowl and carnitas with green salsa. The staff were super friendly. The bathrooms were not clean. It was night time when we went, and I get people are dirty, but it could have been maintained better. read more

I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place. It could have been the salsa or spicy carrots. I wasn't sure, so I checked previous reviews and sure enough, someone else was sick not long ago. It has great reviews, but not worth the health risk. read more

Great service and food. Fun atmosphere. Fast seating time. Very well suited to handle larger group.

I was passing through from a camping trip and saw that this place was open. I saw multiple open signs, online it says open at 9am (it was past 9am) and there was an employee walking around, but the front door was locked. The employee clearly saw me and just ignored me. If the service is any indication of the quality food, then I'm glad I didn't eat here. read more

The prices were a lil high but you get a LARGE portion, so totally worth it! My husband was SUPER EXCITED about the large bottles of Mexican Coca-Cola (his favorite!) If I were ever out this way again (visiting Death Valley National Park) I'd eat here again, for sure! read more

Very good Mexican food in a "order at the counter" type setting. Nice and quick. Convenient location

This little hole in the wall restaurant was awesome! Quick stop on our way to Vegas and we ordered several street tacos to eat in the car. The birria street taco was my fave! The girl who took our order was super friendly and helpful - answered all of our questions. This is now our new favorite stop in Baker. We might even stop again in a few days on our way home! read more

Stopped here on way home and so glad we decided to give a new place for us a try. We ordered a wet vegetarian burrito, pastor burrito, ceviche and horchata. All were fresh and really good. The salsa bar is excellent and super fresh. My wife is Hispanic and grew up drinking her grandmothers horchata so she is very picky. There are not many horchata she likes, this place she really liked the horchata. 7/24/2023 Went back on our next trip past Baker and stopped again for dinner. Ordered the birria street tacos and they were so good. Kenia helped us with our order and she is super nice. We talked about the tacos and how they are prepared in the style from the location the family owner comes from. My two children, if you can call them that, 20 and 18 year olds loved their food. Looking forward to our next trip now to eat here again. read more

First stop before getting to Vegas. Looked it up on Yelp and the reviews brought us here. It's in this small shopping center on a corner, you might miss it if you're passing through. This place was worth the stop. I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures, but trust me when I say it's delicious. I had the shrimp ceviche . It had the right balance of veggies, equally filled with shrimp and avocado. I asked for it spicy, it was perfect and made when ordered. The carnitas and beef birria tacos were juicy and flavorful. The carne asada sope was good, and the sope was handmade, bigger than the regular size sopes I've had. Before heading to Vegas if your craving a little something, stop by you won't be disappointed. read more

AUTHENTIC MEXICAN!!!!! SO GOOD!!! Highly recommend that I had to write in CAPS just so you get the point! It doesn't look like much from the outside, and the inside is an order at the counter type deal. The food was DELICIOUS, the meats were flavorful, moist, perfectly seasoned. read more

Food was amazing, family-owned and you should definitely not miss it if you're driving down I-15.

What a yummy and authentic place to stop to or from Las Vegas! So much food for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. Next trip to Vegas, we are definitely making this a regular stop. Should have taken a picture before... but the rumbbly in the tummy was too much! read more

My goodness! Since the pandemic , I drive everywhere to be safe instead of flying. When road tripping to Las Vegas from the Bay Area , we charge up at Tesla and this is the pit stop-- Always! Why? Because of my cravings for this awesome hole in the wall Los Dos Toritos! The first time we walked in, half of the place was filled with locals. I knew it was going to be a great experience. I also like that it's a small, family owned business. I always order Al Pastor and tacos , topped with their amazing sauce ! Prices are reasonable and good is great in the middle of a desert! read more

Traveling to Vegas we often stop in baker for food a restroom break or gas. And what they have been lacking for so long was mexican food. When I saw this place pop up I knew I had to try it. I was hesitant because it's baker. Not even the fast food is good and the gas is overly priced. I was blown away by the authenticity of the Mexican food. The burritos are absolutely delicious. I've also gotten a bowl. The beans are fresh the rice fluffy and tasty and every any salsa is good. Inpersonally like the extra hot. Must be a oil jalapeño salsa. I highly recommend this place. 2nd time visiting and definitely will be coming here time time we head this way. read more

Great tacos! Came here after leaving Death Valley, and will say this place is a hidden gem! Ordered tacos and soda, each taco averaging around $2.50 each. Inside is a sauce bar, which allows you to try different flavors with your meal. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

Really good Mexican food! They cook their own chips and are really friendly. The resturaunt is clean and has nice music always. This place is phenomenal! Not only the food is amazing, but the service as well. I was greeted by a lovely young lady with a welcoming smile, she acknowledged my Husband and I even though she was extremely busy. She took our order and gave us the best tacos we ever had, and we are taco connoisseurs, lol. Oh YELP you never let me down - thank you. Traveling between SO CA and Las Vegas and in the middle of nowhere we decided to stop for a quick bite to eat and found this amazing little Mexican restaurant. You can eat in or carry out and continue on your drive, but whatever you do, check it out. Two carnitas street tacos (YUM YUM), one quesadilla and carne asada burrito later our crew was happy and on our way. Prices are VERY fair ($2.69 for a taco) and portions are great. They even throw in some chips if you ask them. A nice serve yourself salsa bar with great choices including cucumber and limes. If I lived closer, I'd come here just for the carnitas taco's. read more

I was in Baker for the $1B lotto rush. This place had great reviews and the drive home was going to be long as lots and lots of Las Vegasian had to make the drive out of state to get a lotto ticket. I ordered the chili verde platter with corn, birria taco, and a watermelon drink. No pics as it was to go. The place was very modern and the womens bathroom was clean. There was a little salsa bar next to the Pepsi fountain. Pepsi!! My only complaint were the dirty tables and floors in the main dining room. read more

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. Great Mexican food with its own flavors. What I mean by that it's not like every other Mexican food place that you go to in California. We had a couple of chicken street tacos that had a lot of flavor but the superstar of the meal was the. Bistek Ranchero. Think thin slices of grilled beef steak in a red tomato based stew-ish deliciousness that includes onions and peppers. We had asked to leave that jalapeños out and they obliged. Loved this dish. Perfectly seasoned and it reminded me of an Eastern European or Arabic type stew. Came with rice and what tasted like homemade refried beans and accompanied by homemade tortillas. (We chose the flour tortillas.) serving was Geahan's we are taking the leftovers home. Young man behind the counter was friendly and helpful and we found out his father was doing the cooking out back. Totally the kind of place I love to visit. Feels like you went to your buddy's house and his abuela cooked an old family recipe. No frills place so don't expect any fancy surroundings. Everything is fresh and the salsas were homemade. Sorry forgot to take pictures. It was so delicious looking that we just dived right in. Highly recommended. We'll be back!! read more

It was 5 min. before closing and I needed a bite to eat to satisfy my hunger after driving 4 hours en-route to Death Valley. The friendly cashier gladly took my order and it freshly cooked to order. This was the BEST taco I had! Not too salty and perfect portion of meat and onions-cilantro. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere close to Baker,CA so I am bummed out I cannot patronize regularly. The salsa bar tasted great and they included chips, which I never had known about! Chips were crispy and tasted better beyond your supermarket mass-produced chips. So, on the way back from the Death Valley desert few days later, I had to dig in for a second taste. It was delicious. Also, the restaurant is really clean and the countertops are very organized. Especially, as COVID-19 is technically not over yet, it was great to see a clean food establishment. read more

We normally drive right through Baker to Barstow for food...but I was curious to see what what Baker had to offer. Yelp did not disappoint!! Restaurant was clean and updated. Plenty of seating available. Employees were friendly and welcoming. I could tell a lot of locals eat here. I ordered the carnitas burrito which comes with rice, beans and cheese inside. Carnitas was very flavorful with little heavenly crispy bits every once in a while. Husband ordered the carne asada quesadilla with rice and beans...he loved it as well. It was obvious they use quality ingredients and everything came out fresh and piping hot. Full of flavor! Salsas are flavorful and fresh. Doesn't look like much walking by, but let me tell you once you go in it's a nice authentic Mexican restaurant. Even The bathroom is clean and way nicer than expected.
