We love coming to this restaurant. It is our go to Mexican place in the area. Service is always great and everyone is always very nice. The fresh guacamole is delicious. My favorite item on the menu are the enchiladas. I've tried them all but my favorite are the chicken and spinach. The margarita's are tasty and made just right every time. The food is always consistently good. We've never had anything we didn't like here. read more

They upcharged me from the 12.99 small to the 18.99 large drink and the cup was packed with ice, there was very little drink in it at all. Just a quick lunch but everything was great. Seated immediately, nice waitress, fresh guac prepared tableside, warm chips and yummy salsa (which you can get to go). My rice with shrimp and 'salad' was perfect, the shrimp were cooked just right and so was the rice. My friend got the Speedy Gonzalez lunch special and was pleased. Prices were fair. First time here. Would definitely recommend!! This place was very good.. the host sat us fast. There was 7 of us. The server was amazing, so friendly. He made my drink just right and tasted so good!. The chips and salsa was put on table, and then he asked us if we wanted wlto know if we wanted guacamole. They made it fresh right next to the table.. amazing!! Bad service fire ant problem outside and they don't care to use pest control very expensive

This is the first time we've eaten here since it changed from Habaneros (which we didn't care for, bland food). We were served chips & very tasty salsa! I had the Street Tacos with carnitas, I was surprised at how much meat was on them, and it was moist & delicious, I also had a side of beans & rice, which was good. My husband had the Enchiladas Verde, 2 shredded chicken & 2 shredded beef topped with verde sauce, sour cream and avocado, he said it was very good. I'm still stuffed! We will definitely go back. Very clearly under new management. Food was good, but service was not. We went yesterday right at opening, and we were one of two tables in the restaurant. Servers were nice but once we got our food they promptly forgot about us. I had to go back the host stand to ask for my bill. Not bad, but not awesome. read more

The drinks were good. I had two types of margaritas. The issue was the food. Since the name change their food isn't as it once was. First The standard chips and salsa. Chips were fine but the salsa was salty which is odd and it was brought to us in a very small bowl. Why salt the salsa when the chips have salt. So now our order. I was in the mood for taquitos but it wasn't on the menu. I was told they could make it. My wife ordered the shrimp quesadillas. My order had very little rice. Very little sour cream and no guacamole. The plate was half lettuce which is a place filler to make the plate look like their is more there than there really is. Besides the portion it was good. My wife's, the shrimp quesadillas. Very little cheese if any at all was what she said to me. She stated it was good not great but good. Service was good to great. Atmosphere. No music just the sounds of people eating. We were seated In the back. I've never been back here before. A lot more seating but nothing stood out. Over all I give this place 3 stars. Omg so salty and was not worth what we paid. My husband ordered the spinach and chicken enchiladas or burritos not sure which one but the one on the menu. Probably 1 piece of spinach and very salty chicken. I had shrimp which was great but everything on my plate was so salty. Same with my in laws had ground beef tacos and ground beef taco salad so salty. And house margaritas no booze extra salt oh well. read more

This first time I went it was great. The food was awesome and service was okay. The next time, the service wasn't as friendly and the food quality didn't seem as good. The third, and last time, the device was borderline rude, our order had several mistakes and the food was sub par. I use a credit card for dining out since I reap a percentage in return. This facility extorts a fee to customers who use a credit card to pay their bill. The ownership doesn't realize that CC usage is an opportunity to generate business, and that it has been proven that customers will order larger or more expensive dishes if using a CC. This is a great little restaurant waiting to be discovered. Best Mexican food we've found in the nearest 3 counties. It's friendly and fairly quiet (lots of sports on the tv screens) with nice lighting/atmosphere. Terrific margaritas- try the Blood Orange flavor. Reasonably priced beers, full bar. Very good chips and salsa. For entrees, we've mostly had the carnitas and tacos - both very good. The Birria tacos are amazing. The Queso Fresco Jalapenos appetizer is crazy hot but it has bacon, so try it! The accompanying rice is very good and the beans are fine. Very wide new menu, including some great looking desserts to try next time. Our impression is that the food is authentic and great quality, and the atmosphere is pleasant. read more

I'll give them a generous 3. We've had next-day "events" that lead me to believe the holding temps aren't being followed. (See health section) The burritos are good. The Mariscos with rice were very disappointing. I was expecting a nice rice with the seafood tossed. I got a gloppy mess that was mostly a ghastly sauce and cheese. The plate was half lettuce with a half teaspoon of sour cream. I'll give the manager some credit for getting me a plate of rice without sauce but he should fix the dish to be more in line with just rice, some bell pepper, a bit of oil and garlic. Shrimp and scallops are delicate flavors and the sauce totally nukes them. Chicken is also oddly seasoned. Avoid. We like the atmosphere and service isn't bad. I've had several dishes and the fajitas are good too. I hope the management can take a good look at what's expected of a cantina menu and the appropriate seasoning for the food they're serving to deliver better dishes and portions. read more
