Right in the heart of Cabo ! Had the Marlin tacos . Yummy!, only one server by was able to take care of all 16 for us

Came here by a local recommendation by Manta Dive Shop. They recommended fish and smoked marlin but our favorite was actually the pulpo (octopus) and the al pastor. They included pineapple without is asking. They did mess up some of our order but we didn't want to make them redo it since we were running tight on time. The aquachiles was great as well. We will return if we are in Cabo. They had someone singing karaoke as well :)

Crunchy fish taco, crunchy shrimp taco, mariscada taco

Our taxi driver & Airbnb host both recommended Los Claros. I am glad we had time to check it out. We had the crunchy fish & crunchy shrimp tacos, mariscada taco , consume ,shrimp cocktail & aguachile. To drink we ordered a horchata & a tamarindo margarita. Everything was delicious. The service was great. I noticed a local man was doing a walking foodie tour for tourists. This must be the place for seafood. I will definitely go back on my next trip to Los Cabo's.

Cutting up our coconuts
Dung N.

We were still hungry after having mediocre tacos, so we decided to get something else from here to eat. After looking over the menu, we ended up sharing the ceviche de pulpo and got two coconuts! The ceviche was huge and tasty- it came with tortilla chips and some crackers. The coconuts were very refreshing and the guy serving us even offered free alcohol to put in it, if we wanted, for the same price. My friend got some put in hers and she liked it a lot, although she said it was a bit strong. When we were done with the coco water, he cut up the coconut and sprinkled some Taijin on top so that we could enjoy the meat for later. I also liked the music they were playing here- it made me want to dance, but unfortunately there isn't much room to do so. Service was very friendly. He made sure everything was okay and always welcomed us with a smile every time we passed by the restaurant.

You see these two crooks run. They love to charge exorbitant prices that are different than what's on the menu and pocket the excess cash. 37 dollars for two margaritas. Steer clear of these crooks

Crunchy shrimp taco

Excellent seafood tacos. Very casual and inexpensive place with an outdoor kitchen. There is outdoor seating as well as air conditioned dining room. Service is prompt and friendly. We had 3 tacos - crunchy shrimp, marlin and the Baja style/weathered shrimp. They come plain in either a corn or flour tortilla, but then there is a well stocked condiment bar. I'm definitely going back for more!

Mango Margarita

The three stars are not for the food, it's for the BS way they treated us as Americans, but I digress. We took the advice of one of our butlers at our resort for authentic Baja tacos and he suggested Los Claros. It's a small spot on a nondescript street in downtown. They have an outdoor area or inside with AC. It was very hot that day so we opted for inside. TVs and a full bar inside too I might add. Our server did not speak English so we were handed off to another server. We ordered beer and frozen margaritas, which were fantastic and cold (see my picture). We then were given the menu and ordered fish tacos, crunchy shrimp tacos, and one other that slips my mind. All tacos come plain as they have a salsa bar of sorts with cabbage, jalapenos, different salsas, lime, cilantro, onions, etc. You name it and it's on that bar. SUPER fresh! The crunchy shrimp was fantastic. Flavorful and obviously fresh shrimp. The Baja fish, not so much. Very dry and bland, even with all of the added ingredients. BUT what really set us off was when we paid. The current exchange rate was about 23.00 Pesos to USD when we were there. We get the bill and it's 20.00. We complain. He says oh, you are paying with credit and that's why it's lower?! Um okay, it's not much money so we agree and hand her the card. The card declines. That's funny been working everywhere else. Okay, we give her another card. Declines as well. Now we understand this is the game. So we give her cash yet ironically the exchange rate doesn't change even though now we're using cash. BE CAREFUL it's a damn scamming game for those from outside the country! Due to the drama and lackluster service and food, we probably wouldn't come back.

I don't recommend you coming here but, if you decide to go here, get anything with the shrimp. Their shrimp ceviche was really good. We got lurred cause we were starving and it smelled really good as we were passing. Ok, so the food here is decent, which is the reason why I'll give this place two stars but the service is another matter... There is this saying in Korean, "You don't even bother a dog when they are eating." So honestly, when I'm eating and trying to enjoy a meal, the last thing that I need is constant pestering and hassling to order more and drink more... All throughout our meal, the waiter hassled us to try this and that, pestered us whether we want a beer, a refill, why not! I totally didn't need that. But guess what! That wasn't the worst part!! After paying him what was still not a cheap meal (~$50 USD for shrimp ceviche, 4 tacos, guacamole/chips), we left him a 15% tip, he asked us "SERIOUSLY!? Does this tip reflect my service?! THIS IS ALL YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE ME?!" We were so annoyed but we just gave him another $5 and dragged my boyfriend out cause I just didn't want to deal with the trouble... The whole experience just left a really bad taste in our mouths... Just don't even bother with this place... there are plenty of other places to eat in Cabo at more affordable prices and with better service. Oh also, there was another couple that followed us and they haggled for 2 for 1 margarita (which is not uncommon while vacationing in Cabo). The waiter acted like he gave in and made it seem like he was giving them a special deal and brought two tiny glasses of margarita... while the table on the other side of us had this humongous bowl-sized cup of margarita... They could have ordered the one margarita and just shared... they would have gotten more... we pointed it out to them and they too were turned off by the service. Take your money elsewhere.

They bring you out a tray full of different toppings and sauces (careful one of the green ones is quite spicey). The service was good and the food was better. This place is cash only so I'd encourage you to make sure you have some $$$ on hand (they did accept USD). The reason for the 4 star vs. 5 star is due to the restroom situation. I don't know how this restroom compares to the other restaraunts in the area, but its two small bathrooms and a sink outside. The sink you have to touch a little knob underneath which doesn't seem the most sanitary...but at least they have a bathroom and some soap. We would go again for sure.

The moment I took my first bite, I knew this would be a regular stop if we're ever back in the area. The meat was tender, incredibly flavorful, and tasted fresh off the grill. Everything paired perfectly with the salsas and an ice-cold beer. Super glad we found this gem within walking distance of the pier, and this is one of those spots that'll stick with us long after our trip ended.

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.

The place itself does not have a high-end vibe or atmosphere, so the pricing just didn't match the experience at all. The service was nice, I'll give them that, but the food did not justify the cost. I've had way better tacos for way less. And trust me, I've had a lot of tacos in my lifetime. It honestly feels like this place is taking advantage of tourists with these prices.

The food came out cold and they overcharged us and we had to wait for an English speaking manager to come and fix the problem. I know that we're visitors but this is a well known establishment that has tourists visiting all the time, which was part of the reason why we visited the restaurant. But, we were seated pretty quick, but it still took approximately 20 minutes to take our drink order. Which were just a couple of buckets of beer. It took another 20 minutes for the server to take our food order. It then took another 30 minutes for the cold tacos to arrive. Like I said, plenty of staff holding up the wall and walking around and also plenty of empty tables. But then they over charged us and we had to wait another 30 minutes for an English speaking manager to show up to fix the issue, even though we had fluent Spanish speakers in our group. You know that I don't particularly like leaving a bad review but I don't care if it's in a different country or not. Bad service and bad food are universal issues. The place is located in the heart of the walking area in the marina and they were always busy whenever we walked by in the past. Maybe we picked a bad day.

The menu is limited and posted on the wall without prices, which made me a little nervous about potential tourist upcharges. Still, we decided to go for it and ordered al pastor and birria tacos with cheese, plus a Pacifico beer. While we waited, our waitress brought out a platter of taco toppings along with consommé. When the food arrived, it instantly became a highlight of our trip. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the consommé and toppings. The chili oil paste on the table was no joke and seriously eye-watering. A couple things to note: there are no restrooms or sinks, so we relied on our wet wipes and hand sanitizer. Our total for six tacos and a beer came out to $30 USD, which was a bit higher than expected, and I do wish there had been clearer pricing. That said, it was an authentic, memorable experience and one I'm really glad we checked out.

There was some real competition for top meal, but this one ran away with it. It is a little up the hill and slightly off the main tourist path from downtown Cabo, but still totally walkable and well worth the effort. And if you can plan ahead, go on a Monday. That is when they offer the Molcajete special, which is reason enough on its own to visit. I also heard their steak night is fantastic, so you really cannot go wrong. The space itself is beautiful. The dining room feels polished and inviting, and there is also a charming outdoor area if you prefer fresh air over AC. We kicked things off with the tableside guac, which was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want to start a meal. Even better, they brought out a complimentary little starter first, which is one of my absolute favorite restaurant traditions. In this case it was two mini empanadas, one mushroom and one cheese. Truly a Sophie's choice situation because both were excellent - hubby and I split them in half. For the main event, we split the Molcajete Monday special. You can choose your protein, and we went with steak, though chicken and (I think) shrimp were also options. It came with both corn and flour tortillas if you ask nicely, all housemade. The portion was easily enough for two. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly, sitting in a smoky, slightly spicy sauce in a traditional volcanic stone bowl. Absolutely delicious and one of those dishes you keep talking about long after the meal ends- and much to my travel companions dismay, I talked about it for many days after... Even though we were completely stuffed, I had already seen photos of the flan and could not skip it. We ordered that along with churros to share among four people. Do yourself a favor and skip the churros-- The towering flan is the star. Everyone at the table agreed it was the best we have ever had. A nearby table ordered the crème brûlée and looked genuinely jealous once they saw ours arrive. For what felt like a splurge night, the final bill was surprisingly reasonable, especially compared to US city prices. When you split dishes like we did, it feels like an incredible value for the quality. Treat yourself to this place. And if at all possible, go on a Monday. We almost went back a second time, which says everything. Bathrooms are also lovely, and there is an open kitchen. Service was great too. Treat yo-self!!!
