Scallop quesadilla.

My wife and I were here in Cabo and it had been /0 years since staying in this area a d things have changed a lot! We asked the local driver where he eats fish tacos and he took us to this place. Don't go any where else. We tried both the fish and shrimp tacos. Buenísima! The salsa bar has everything to finish your tacos jus like you want to customize them. We spent less than $20 for all we could eat. The night before we spent $60 at the hotel and it wasn't anywhere as good. We are going back tomorrow to try more.

Michelada - no clamato!!

Our new favorite place for tacos and micheladas!!! Best part...it's next door to Hotel Ameyal which is where we are staying. Service is awesome! They're attentive, willing to answer questions and are quick! The tacos are inexpensive but taste better than most pricey places. The tempura batter is light and not greasy. The coconut shrimp was crunchy and delicious!!! They grill the flour tortillas and it just adds to taste and texture to the entire package - we're going back tonight!!!

Limonade- limonada natural.

This place was recommended by our Airbnb host and we definitely LOVED it! The location was a little tricky to find but when we did we came back and ate here three times. This place is very casual, sort of an indoor/outdoor feel, but overall very comfortable. I had the shrimp ceviche which came with two tostadas, it was fresh and definitely filling. On another occasion I had the shrimp and fish tacos which again, filling, fresh and delicious, breading was perfect! And on our last trip I had an aguachile tostada which was my absolute favorite of the plates I had! Would definitely recommend this place! If I could eat here everyday, I woukd

They offer daily specials at very reasonable prices. I ordered the octopus, and it was to die for perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. It was served over roasted vegetables with a side of rice. Sometimes, simple food prepared the right way can be just as satisfying as anything you'd find at a gourmet restaurant. The restaurant has an Argentine flair, with several tempting meat dishes on the menu. The daily special that day was a 12-hour roasted pork shank that looked absolutely mouthwatering, but I opted for the octopus instead and I'm glad I did. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back to try some of their other dishes

12/3/25 Fantastic service and great food !!!…read more5star again!!! ------ What a perfect way to end our short trip in Cabo other than to spoil yourself with fresh seafood delectables at yours truly, Mariscos El Toro Guero San, in San Jose Cabo. This place was large, spacious, clean, busy and inviting. There were also plenty of seats to choose from. Highly recommended by locals, unfortunately, the family and I did not get the chance to try this place out last year. On our way to airport, my traveling group and I agreed to stop by. And, so we did and so glad. As much as I wanted to try everything on the menu, I knew it would be an overload. Looking at the menu, the choices seemed endless. Of course, I'm stuck on the usual - shrimp ceviche. I was already super excited that we finally made it to Toro Guero, but more so excited in trying out a place I've been waiting for a while to got to. Almost a year later, it was time for the shrimp ceviche taste test be put to use. It was a slam dunk, alright . Delicious to the last bite, the shrimp ceviche was one of the best of all the Mexican seafood places I've tried, so far. Not much was needed to add on the shrimp ceviche, as it was perfectly seasoned and lemoned up already. We were all stuffed. Our order came out in no time. While waiting for our food, we were served a tea cup full of complimentary seafood broth. Not bad. Servers may not have been the most personable but they were all attentive and efficient. They all did their share in making sure our order was accurate and that our needs were met until the end. I'll tell you, in the past several days, we've had seafood overload. Thanks to Toro Guero for making sure we were fully satisfied. We will definitely be flying back to San Diego with all smiles. Totally recommend

Two nights ago we brought them quite a bit of freshly caught wahoo and tuna, and asked them to cook it up, for seven people including the two mates with whom we spent three days fishing with. We had so much food that we shared with other customers and sent our two mates home with four or five takeaway boxes. The service was attentive and engaging. The seafood combo was awesome as well, you get a big ship (attention to detail the container is heated) that has two big lobster tails, one crab, a red snapper, some shrimp and some octopus. Oh the octopus was fantastic, smoky and soft. Shrimp and lobster were also very good. Crab was meh, not very fresh. Service was great. Not sure if we came on a slow Wed, theres only us and another table in the entire place. For the food I'd expect more visitors.

These are bacon wrapped, jalapeno stuffed. Yum! I would also highly recommend the tampiquena steak - Mexican style steak with a chile relleno. Best starters were queso fundido (MUST GET!) and the caprese was also very fresh! My one draw back was the temperature, but I know that's hard to fix. We came in August and it was very very hot and muggy. But didn't change our thoughts on the restaurant overall. Just something to note.

The dining area is partially outdoors, and it was sprinkling that evening. We ordered a fajita plate and a molcajete, and the food tasted good--we practically finished everything. The service was great, and the staff checked in on us regularly. Unfortunately, later that night we experienced food poisoning. We're not sure what caused it--possibly the salsa that had been sitting out during the rain--but it was hard to ignore. I'll leave it at that. It may have been a one-off situation, but I'm unsure if we'd return. If we do come back to Cabo and decide to try this place again and get sick a second time, that would be the final straw.
