The generous portions of food per plate!!

Where the locals go to eat and off the beaten bath. Yummy, authentic, and very generous portions of food served. Loved eating here after a day of parasailing! Nice service, easy going, and overall a pleasant place!

Después de varios día de comer comida en el hotel decidimos salir al pueblo a desayunar. Alguien que trabaja en el hotel nos recomendó este lugar y no decepciono. Era el desayuno mexicano que necesitaba. If you want authentic Mexican breakfast, go here. Lots of locals starting their day with meals here, you can't go wrong

Excellent authentic Mexican food! We came at 3:00 in the afternoon and the place was packed! We both had the comida de dia which was fajitas de pollo. The food was muy delicioso! This place is off the beaten tourist path of Cabo and worth the drive!

We are super baffled by all the positive reviews - are they real? The food here was extremely subpar.chips stale and salsa uninspiring. Enchiladas had no melted cheese and were flavorless. It was seriously awful. The bacon wrapped shrimp was truly inedible and lacked flavor. So greasy. Service was fine and the mango drink was decent. Taco Bell would have been better. Sorry Campestre but even our Uber driver told us we made a mistake by going there.

Great spot for breakfast/ brunch! Came here around 8:40 AM on a weekday and it was already packed. Thankfully it was only about a 5 minute wait. I got the Desayuno Campestre. Large portions, affordable, and delicious. They accept credit cards as well. Highly recommend!

Some of the best food I've had in Cabo San Lucas. It is near the boardwalk in San Lucas but far enough away to really mix in with the locals. Some of the best food is found in hole in the walls. I was recommended this place for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Service was great and food came out rather quickly. Definitely give them a stop when you're in Cabo.

Excellent breakfast! I ordered the Norteño!!! Wow!!!! I would return just to have breakfast here!!! The coffee and bread were not my favorite, but the food more than makes up for that!!! The eggs were so tasty (not runny) and went well with the carne asada, refries beans and potato wedges! The fresh, hot tortillas were a nice touch! This was my favorite food spot while visiting Cabo! I would definitely eat here again!!!

It was a nice little restaurant where the staff was very welcoming and prompt with serving you. We tried a couple places the local recommended but this spot by far exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and had that homemade flavor. The plates were huge portions full of flavor. I'm very picky with chile rellenos and I can say I was not disappointed. The chile was loaded with cheese and flavor. I added shrimp into mine which paired perfectly with it. I would say the chile could have been burned a little longer prior to cooking make it softer but it was still very delicious. I ordered the chips and beans for an appetizer and those beans were delicious and again loaded with cheese. These were black beans vs the regular beans you will get with your plate so I would recommend ordering if you like that. I ordered the Combinación Mexicana and I don't think I was even able to put a dent in my plate because it came with so much. It had a chile relleno, quesadilla, enchiladas (the red sauce ones were delicious), and flautas/rolled tacos. My partner ordered the Desayuno Montañero and almost licked the plate clean. I would highly recommend this place if you're out in the area or visiting.

No gringos here... packed with locals at a great price point. Asked for menudo, nope that's not there. Ribeye they asked how it's cooked. Want medium rare m, received 1/2" thick well done. Hurt my jaw gnawing on that meat. Not juicy but ok. Chile reano that was the 5 star bomb! 1/2" thick packed with queso and topped with yummy red sauce. Guac was also fair.

I'm talking the kind of band that makes you want to order another margarita just so you can clap along like you suddenly grew up in Guadalajara. And the food? Real-deal Mexican classics mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos big flavors coming out of a kitchen that knows what it's doing. Now let's talk about the chips and salsa, because I didn't come here to play games. Some restaurants give you chips like they're doing you a favor three chips and a little salsa like it's a museum sample. Not here. These chips show up ready to party. Crunchy, warm, and the salsa hits you like, "Hola amigo, welcome to flavor." Add the incredible service and that mariachi band floating through the courtyard and suddenly dinner turns into a whole event. Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of my Cabo trip and my socks? Yeah... they're still somewhere on the floor from those chips and salsa.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

The drinks were just as impressive, perfectly made and refreshing, pairing so well with the food. What really stood out, though, was the service. Beautiful atmosphere with lights, plenty of tables, and clean bathrooms. The seafood is so fresh! We ordered the crab meat tostada, aguichiles, ceviche, grilled octopus dinner, garlic shrimp dinner, and fresh grilled fish (Acapulco style) for 2. The dinner plates cakes with a side of rice and steamed mixed vegetables. Everything was so fresh, delicious, tender, and so flavorful. As a group, we couldn't come to a consensus on what each of our favorite dish was. We each had our own favorite. Crab meat was sweet, garlic shrimp was buttery, grilled octopus was so tender, aguichiles was so citrusy... I can go on and on. Ask for fresh tortillas. Also don't skip their margarita. Strong, citrusy, and generous serving. They accept USD or pesos. Also strolling musicians will come by your table asking to play a song. Some will tell you the price up front others will expect a tip at the end.

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.

The place itself does not have a high-end vibe or atmosphere, so the pricing just didn't match the experience at all. The service was nice, I'll give them that, but the food did not justify the cost. I've had way better tacos for way less. And trust me, I've had a lot of tacos in my lifetime. It honestly feels like this place is taking advantage of tourists with these prices.

It was just me and my husband, but there were quite a few larger groups dining while we were here. The service is wonderful. We had two main waiters, both of whom were kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The cocktails and the wine we ordered were wonderful. I really loved the cocktail we ordered! Our dining experience was nice, but the food we ordered was just okay. I wouldn't call it some of the best of Cabo. Of our six dinners in Cabo, I would say it was probably our second to least favorite. But, that's not saying it was bad! It just wasn't on par with the other restaurants we dined at. First, I told the restaurant both when I made the reservation and when two different people at the restaurant inquired about food restrictions that I could not have cheese. The first thing served to us - an amuse bouche - was heavy on the cheese. It was a rather large ravioli, which was much larger than a normal amuse bouche -- and it had cheese inside the ravioli, a cheesy sauce, and cheese grated on top. So I could not eat a bite of it. My husband said it was just okay. The best thing we ordered here was the aguachile. It was beautiful, colorful, artfully presented, and absolutely delicious. So fresh, and well prepared. Loved it! Our main courses, however, were a little disappointing. They tasted fine, but ate more like the kind of main course you would order at a chain Italian restaurant in the US: heavy, chewy, and generic. But my personal saddest moment was when the churros arrived. I love churros, so very much. These looked beautiful, but when my husband and I cut into ours, they were all raw on the inside. So the flavor outside was delicious but we couldn't eat more than the ends of the churros. Overall, I enjoyed the experience of dining at Casa Martin... I just wish the food was better. I am hoping it was just an off night, and I look forward to revisiting this restaurant on a future visit to Cabo and hopefully having a better meal (but the aguachile was seriously so good - order that!).

We used to come here a lot, then stopped for awhile, and in 2022 we started coming back and were pleasantly surprised. We had three or four great experiences and then our last trip here in August was a pretty big disappointment. They were remodeling and it just didn't seem like anyone wanted to be here, from the chef to the waiters. This trip we thought we'd give it another go. And it seems it's not gotten any better since they've finished the remodel and downsized. Food was ok. One of us had Carnitas and the other one had a chili Relleno. The carnitas was pretty good, but the chili relleno was cold inside... yuck. After we returned it, to either have it heated up or get another one, a busboy brought it back to the table and the waiter never even asked if it was OK. When they set my food down, the gentleman picked up my silverware off my side plate and sat it on the table. I was purposely avoiding that because there was a little spot of dried bird poop on the table that had not been wiped away, and I did not want my silverware in it. I've never had a busboy or waiter touch my silverware. Anyway, I think we can permanently put this restaurant on our "don't bother" list, unfortunately.
