We hit this place every time we are in Cabo. It is off the crazy harbor scene, on a side road, in a bunch of kiosks, a short walk off the cruise ship dock. My grilled fish taco was delicious as was the made to order guacamole sans onions because I am allergic to them, sadly. No language problem here. They have Bohemia cervezas, but if you need a mixed drink, there is an open air bar right next to the tables of this place. A covered salsa bar is available on the side. Extremely low priced but fun. There are several guitarists in the area anxious to serenade you.

The chicken taco and chicken quesadilla lacked flavor, even when dressed up with toppings. The chicken in them was chewy and hard to eat. Two of us ended up taking the chicken out and not eating it. The chicken mole was tasty though. Service was okay. Tables were clean. The mariachi band came to play at our table, but we politely declined and they went on their merry way to the next table. There were 2 tables there with locals so perhaps this restaurant is actually very good if you know what to order.

Supposed to be Pastor Style... hmmm

Not sure who is reviewing this place but Pastor Tacos are no bueno. Flavorless tacos. Tortillas were not homemade. Did the 4 tacos and beer special. Beer was cold.... 4 stars, minus 2 for subpar food. Also, not sure about the laws in Mexico, but surveillance in the restroom???

Excellent service! A must come to when in Cabo. Very inexpensive but the food is so delicious! One of our favorite places. Recommend to everyone. Give it a shot you won't regret it. Ambiance is great too! It's by the jungle bar and you can get a couple mixed drinks to bring back to your table.

4 fish tacos & beer, and a blended mango margarita with Jose Cuervo tequila.

The food was great! This was exactly what we wanted! This was no "gourmet" "touristy" spot, it was REAL Mexican fish tacos! We had two orders of the 4 tacos & 1 beer for $9 deal! You get the choice of beef, chicken, fish, or pork. They had other things on their menu, but you can't beat 4 tacos and a beer for $9. The place is next to various souvenir shops, and a bar located in the center of the little plaza that had 9 tequila shots for $12, their restrooms are clean and stocked. It's definitely worth checking out!

For the vegan in paradise, this is a very authentic feeling restaurant that serves meat but also has vegan and vegetarian options. The service was a little slow considering there weren't very many people there at the time but the veggie tacos were worth the wait! The mushrooms were grilled to perfection, a touch smoky and full of flavor! We ordered the guacamole and chips, the portion was generous and the guacamole delicious! We ordered a side of beans which thankfully they don't prepare with lard. The rice is vegan as well. Our dinner companions are omnis and they were very happy with their meals. We all ordered the mineral lemonade and it was delicious! The glass is very large and the flavor light and refreshing with very little sweetness, perfect!

Love the tacos here. Be sure to add the toppings from the refrigerated salsa bar area. My favorite is the beer battered fish with coleslaw on top. My husband loves the shrimp, chicken and beer battered fish.

2 beef and 2 pastor tacos jazzed up.

I have been to A LOT of taco joints in Cabo. I have walked past this busy place 100s of times without stopping. Yesterday, I stopped. Greeted immediately and server recommended the 4 tacos and a beer. I ordered 2 beef and 2 Pastor tacos and a Dos Equis. Ambiance is nice. Very traditional decor. After about 6-7 minutes (not too bad) my food arrives. The beef looked dry and the Pastor looked "creamy". Almost saucy. I was directed to the Salsa bar where there was a great selection of condiments. Radish, jalapeño, dry coleslaw, creamy coke slaw, pico, and a selection of salsas. Problem was, the salsa were not marked for temperature. I like a little kick, but don't want to be thrown on my butt. I jazzed up the tacos and proceeded to munch. Taco 1- good. Taco 2- good. Taco 3 (beef)- first bite is 100% grissel. Spitting out food in front of others is embarrassing. But it was terrible. I went to taco 4 (Pastor) - good. I was a little bummed. Grissel kind of takes the wind out of your sail. Even without the tough meat, the tacos were not "great" compared to local options. To their credit- their fish tacos looked outstanding (I did not try one though). I also say the chicken tacos- looked dry like the beef. Overall, if it is 2am and you need a quick fix, stop in. If you have time to explore a bit more- explore.

We found this little outdoor bar (called MCO) on our way to Cabo Wabo, and turns out this place was way better! Cabo Wabo was overpriced and couldn't seat a group, so we ended up going here. The pina coladas were delicious and cheap, the bartenders were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was festive. We were serenaded my mariachi singers, and everyone had a great time.

Always good food and atmosphere- where the locals in the know go! Recommend the shrimp tacos.

Easy find at the marina - great deal for fresh tacos. The horchata was delicious! They have a huge selection of tacos - I recommend the chicken mole! The fish fried taco was mediocre.

We stopped here on our vacation to Cabo. It's a great inexpensive taco spot close to the marina and mall. It's like a hidden gem. In addition, they offer pasta, which I thought was different. The margaritas were very strong! One made me feel good! I love that they offer grilled vs breaded fish and shrimp. While you are sitting outside there are many bands playing live music for you. There are TVs surrounding the outdoor seating to catch your favorite game as well. Check this spot out if you are in downtown Cabo!

I'm talking the kind of band that makes you want to order another margarita just so you can clap along like you suddenly grew up in Guadalajara. And the food? Real-deal Mexican classics mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos big flavors coming out of a kitchen that knows what it's doing. Now let's talk about the chips and salsa, because I didn't come here to play games. Some restaurants give you chips like they're doing you a favor three chips and a little salsa like it's a museum sample. Not here. These chips show up ready to party. Crunchy, warm, and the salsa hits you like, "Hola amigo, welcome to flavor." Add the incredible service and that mariachi band floating through the courtyard and suddenly dinner turns into a whole event. Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of my Cabo trip and my socks? Yeah... they're still somewhere on the floor from those chips and salsa.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The staff goes the extra mile with every little detail, and before long you realize you didn't just stop for tacos you discovered a whole new method of happiness, served on a tortilla.

The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!
