What a nice hidden gem, although they have a 20 + year history in Rolla. We've driving by this place for years and wondered where the heck it was. But it's worth making that left turn into the gas station and driving to the back. It's quaint, clean and the staff is very friendly. Oh yeah, and the food is authentic and good. By far the best Mexican food I've had in the United States, and I've been to quite a few restaurants spanning from California to Missouri. First of all the service is somewhat quiet, they don't talk much, but when they do they are very kind and notice when you are running low on drink. I had a Burrito Deluxe, Which is two burritos filled with fried beans, one with chicken the other with beef, topped with lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. Like said earlier the portioning was huge and the price was unbeatable for most other restaurants I've been to, costing 7ish dollars. First of all the whole meal was perfectly cooked, the burritos were hot and ready to eat and the sour cream, lettuce and guacamole were fresh and cool that perfectly blended with the burritos heat. The burritos texture was just right, not too rubbery. The fillings were also balanced. The meal comes with complimentary chips with salsa dip. The meal was perfect. That is all I can really say. For starters everything is made in house and fresh. The salsa was absolutely fantastic and if they offered it o would of bought a jar or two. What makes it great is that all the ingredients play well together and none are over powerful. I saw the other two reviews and felt I should break the tie. Los Cazadores is about a mile from home, we eat there 2-3 times a week. We take family and friends, everyone loves it. The food is real, no packaged or frozen stuff. It's really very good and good for you. Their salsa is the best and made right there. I have had a few Margaritas,( it is part of the birthday tradition in our family that the birthday celebrant must consume one of their Jumbo Margaritas) We have traveled the world and this country, originally we are from Southern California and I can honestly say I have never had better service than from the wait staff at this restaurant. The prices are so affordable that anyone can enjoy several times a week and many go everyday. read more

Stopped here on a road trip. Very quick as we were in and out in about 30 minutes. Food was good. I had chili rellano and it was very cheesy and delicious. Taco was good. Husband had fish tacos and were pretty fishy. Chips and salsa were tasty. It was also very cheap. Way better than a fast food drive thru on our road trip for the extra few minutes it took. Of the two Mexican places in a Rolla, definitely choose this one. We ate at the other before and didn't care for much of anything on the menu. My family had lunch at Los Cazadores on Saturday and it was delivered quickly and hot. I don't like cilantro, and though there was a trace in the salsa, it wasn't overpowering. Other dishes on the menu point out the cilantro which I liked them doing. I struggle with 3 or 4 stars - for the town, it's the best, but the food was fairly typical and not exceptionally memorable. Benefit of the doubt and gave 4 because I didn't go at dinner when I would expect more. Will definitely be revisiting for a dinner service and update the review then. read more

The food was pretty good. It had a nice flavor of spices and was not very greasy. The food did not taste as fresh as El Maguey but it was better then other places I have had. The margaritas were not very good though. They tasted like a smoothie in my opinion and my wife's first question after trying it was why did we need to get carded for these. Also the service was really not up to a basic standard. The staff stayed bunched up at the kitchen door talking while starring at customers. It was very uncomfortable feeling and even when they approached the table it felt like it was the last thing they wanted to do. This would not be my first place of choice. read more

Continuing to search for the best Mexican Restaurants in the Rolla Saint Robert area, FOUND IT. Great service and all the food was delicious. The salsa was good but when we asked for hot sauce we were served their habanero salsa and charged .99, price is not the problem it is just that every other place we have been too anywhere in the world the hot sauce/salsa is free of charge. The only other suggestion for improvement is the chips, these tasred store bought and were not loght and crisp like we like them. Los Arcos in Rolla has the best chips and salsa, free hot sauce too. Still, with the quality of the main dishes these shortfalls cannot detract enough to keep us away. read more

My husband got a little irritated with the waiter because he wanted to charge to refill the chips and salsa. The margaritas were also good.
