In a sea of Mexican spots around the city, Los Bravos is doing their thing to stand our among the rest for me - While the food is basic, but slightly elevated Mexican fare, the service and fact that they are being safe in the current Covid era has made this particular location a go to for me! Located on Roswell Road in the shopping center shared by Aldi and right across the street from Kroger sits this Los Bravos. Featuring a small patio of about 4 tables, a decent size indoor dining room with booths and tables, as well as a bar, this location has plenty of seating and never boasts a wait...even on taco Tuesday's! Parking is plentiful, as it is located in a shopping center - so legit should never have an issue finding a spot! Service - We have experienced a variety of service and servers throughout our visits and the only constant is they are a tad slow on service after your food hits the table. It's nice that they don't hover, but they could make a few more rounds to check on you. But hey, I have experienced way worse and won't go hard on the service here. All the servers have always been nice and helpful when needed! Drink wise - They do have a full bar, and with that, I always go for a Gin & Tonic. Is it the best G&T I have ever had? No...is it the biggest G&T I have ever been served at a restaurant? Yup! They served my cocktail in the pint glass and you know what, I ain't mad at it!! Now down the goods, the food! Of course, per usual we start out with the cheese dip with jalapenos ($4.50). It is standard queso you would get at any other spot, so it hits the spot and makes those chips pop like it should! We usually always get the Beef Nachos Supreme ($11.75). They take a solid pile of chips top them with a good amount of ground beef, cheese dip, lettuce, sour cream and tomatoes...along with some jalapenos and even jalapeno'd carrots...which I didn't know existed and now am beyond thankful that I do! In addition to these staples, I have sampled a few other things on the menu with my top two being the Chilaquiles Mexicanos ($10.75) and the #4 ($10.75). The Chilaquiles are plentiful and absolutely delicious! They take those crispy chips and some shredded chicken then cook them both in a rich ranchero sauce just long enough to give the chips some texture and warm the chicken through. They throw it on a plate with some rice and top it with shredded cheese. So dang good! The #4 is a usual go-to for me and features one taco, two enchiladas and rice. It's a simple dish that always hits the spot, especially if I am undecided or caught between a few things...ole reliable! I will say that prices here are slightly higher than other Mexican spots, but then again, I feel the food quality is slightly better too. So, in the end...I guess it balances out. As mentioned above, one thing I enjoy most about this place is their commitment to customer safety, especially in the current world. They only seat every other table and all the staff wear their masks at all times. It's refreshing to see this and is definitely a big reason why we made Los Bravos our new weekly spot! From seating to service, there is never much of a wait. 2. It's tasty. We've tried everything from tacos to tamales and fajitas to frijoles. Everything comes in generous portions and is served hot with ample seasoning. 3. It's affordable. This is casual dining that won't break your budget. 4. Parking is no problemo. The lot is big, so there are plenty of spots close to the restaurant. By the way, we have enjoyed Los Bravos over a quick dinner for two, as well as a longer affair with family and friends. Los Bravos has been on our list of places to try out for a while now. Very close to where we live and having walked past countless times - this Sunday afternoon we finally decided it was time to try them out. We arrived around 12:30 PM, walked it and were greeted and seated instantly. Quite a few tables were occupied and they rest quickly filled up. Another server came immediately after with the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. We asked for the beef dip, which was melted cheese mixed with ground beef. It tasted amazing with the chips - we cleaned up the dish it was served in. For our entrees my wife got the shrimp fajita and I got susana's special. The shrimp fajita is priced at around $20 but totally worth it. It comes with a lot of shrimp and caramelized onions served on a sizzler plate, along with rice, tortillas, beans, sour cream and other veggies. Taste wise 5/5. The Susanas special was yummy skirt steak, cooked well with caramelized onions. The taste was just amazing - I loved it. Of course, served with rice, avocado and veggies. I enjoyed this thoroughly. Extremely flavorful - the steak, rice and everything. They have a good selection of beers and other drinks. Their margaritas are served in humongous glasses - we did have any though but will surely try them next time. It seems to be a popular choice and we saw a lot of folks ordering it. We finished off with flan which is Mexican custard. Tasty again. Really good, fast and quick service, friendly staff, tasty food and reasonable prices - it has to be 5 stars. Came in for lunch on a lark (with a pregnant co-worker who has craving tacos). There's a nice sized menu, what you'd expect from an Americanized Mexican restaurant... with a fair selection of lunchtime specials on the back. Tacos were ordered and I picked out a chicken chimichanga because it sounded quite nice on the lunch menu. The chips were plentiful and the salty, the salsa was... salsa. Nothing to write home about, but when you want to munch while waiting, you know that no one is going to turn them down! Service was okay. Was seated outside, so that could've played a part in it. The order wasn't exactly right, but most of the way there, and easily remedied. The chicken tacos did what they were supposed to and the chimichanga was really good (chicken and some peppers inside). Tonight we had a party of 16 and had called ahead to ensure they could accommodate us. tThey knocked it out of the park. Wow. They were ready for us. Everything was smooth. I came here with my family since we weren't by our local Mexican restaurant. We thought we would try this place out and it's been a while since we have been here. First, the salsa was really hot. Not the typical mild/medium side salsa. It was hot after one bite. We ordered guacamole and it had big chunks of jalapeño in it and tons of cilantro. Not the best combination in a side of guacamole to me. The food was more expensive than the quality that was brought to the table. I ended up getting a simple dish and the meat tasted funny even after putting stuff on it trying to make it taste better. The rice on the side was too salty and I usually enjoy the Mexican rice. I ordered the veggie fajitas, my friends shared nachos and another friend got the shrimp salad. My veggie fajitas were delicious! A really great amount of veggies, including broccoli. They forgot to bring the corn tortillas but honestly it was SO much food that I just add the fajitas without tortillas. They were THAT good. My friends nacho plate was abundant. The only one that had some complaint was my friend who ordered the salad. Noted it was smaller and skimpier than the one at Los Bravos in Windy Hill. She was absolutely right. It was really lacking. Ordered a bowl of their Caldo de Pollo Soup. Could not believe how huge the bowl was! Took half of it home! Super fresh. It's made daily in house!! For inexpensive, casual, and quick Mexican food, you really can't go wrong with Los Bravos. Just like the original Los Bravos location at the corner of Powers Ferry and Terrell Mill, this location on Roswell Rd. serves a decent variety of Mexican fare. It is located in the same shopping center and right next door to ALDI. This location also is not nearly as busy as the Powers Ferry location and is a bit smaller. Parking is plentiful. I always come for lunch with my coworkers and lean towards their good value lunch specials. Lunch specials are valid between 11am-3pm and are typically in the $6 range. I also like their lunch fajitas, which are a bit more expensive ($7.50). You get the choice of chicken or steak on the lunch fajitas and they come out sizzling on a cast iron pan complete with fresh lettuce, guac, sour cream, and soft warm tortillas. A healthy option I like to order from time to time is their chicken and mushroom salad, which is pictured on the back of their menu. Both are yummy and filling (particularly the fajitas, of course). Service is usually good all-around. This restaurant also has a few small TVs so you can watch sports or news while dining. Something new Los Bravos has introduced this year is a "Frequent Eater" card, where you get a free lunch after eight visits. read more

Solid Tex-Mex. We came here after a tennis match and wanted some quick, tasty food. We were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and brought chips and salsa right away. Once our order had been taken it took no longer than 5 minutes for our food to come out. It always shocks me when places can bring food out that quickly, but hey, it was tasty, so I am not complaining! The only reason for the -1 star is that the bathrooms were not the cleanest, and you had to walk down a crowded hallway (with mop buckets, etc) on your way. My partner and I had made this location our go to Mexican restaurant just because it's up the street and the drinks are always strong! We had always gotten great service up until Tuesday evening! We came in with our service dog and were immediately discriminated by trunchbull (fat hostess lady) and the "manager" who was just sitting his ass on the phone in a booth. We almost called the police and filed a complaint with the ADA because she demanded to see my service dog tag and had the audacity to tell me that my dog had to sit on the filthy floor! DO THEY NOT KNOW ITS ILLEGAL TO DO SO?He's a LAP DOG who was freshly groomed. If you hate your job just quit instead of being assholes to people who have done nothing to your miserable life. Me and my boyfriend tried this place today. As we have recently relocated from Texas we were excited. Our server, Claudia was phenomenal, super sweet and the place was cute and clean. Unfortunately, the food was low quality and NOT AUTHENTIC TEX MEX. Everything we had tasted microwaved. EVERYTHING. I know this because all of the food was way too hot and gloppy in texture. The tortillas were store bought. This is unacceptable. A Mexican place serving store bought tortillas? Gross. Why? Handmade tortillas are one of the best and cheapest things ever to make. The cheese on my cheese enchilada was clearly made from a cheese mix; I could taste the powder from the mix. Everything lacked salt and flavor and spice. We had to ask for hot sauce due to how mild the entire meal was and it was so mild we could of drank it. First we ordered Margarita's. Hers was fine. After drinking half of mine, through the meal, it became obvious it had very little Tequila. I ordered another and noted the issue to the waiter. The next one came with so much Tequila, the drink was ruined, so I mixed the remainder of our drinks to balance the flavor. Yes, now 2 bad drinks. Result was I paid for 2 margaritas, that were not good, and should have been replaced or comp'd. So unfortunate, because the Lime Mix used was a very good smooth mix. Our meals were just ok. My Quesadilla came with a generous portion of chicken, but virtually nothing else; very little cheese. I pointed it out to the waiter, but no action was taken. ??
