I was immediately greeted, with a large choice of table and bar seating - it's more spacious than it looks from the outside. Turns out a lot of their breakfast items are considered brunch! Perfect. I got the vegetarian breakfast burrito -- perfect if you want that Mexican touch without the spice (which was my mood at the time). Huge and incredibly delicious. Eggs, avocado, cheese, sour cream, tomatoes... all the good stuff. The cup of coffee was massive with just a perfect hint of cinnamon. Now, of course, they have chorizo breakfast burritos and other spicy options, and a nice lunch special menu (which included fish tacos, and chicken tinga burritos, and more), plus their full regular menu. We were walking with no plans or reservations and found Los Arcos. It was quiet, playing football on TVs but no over powering music that prevents good conversation. The food was great. Flavorful, authentic. We ordered Carne Asada and Pollo en Mole. We also ordered Chips and salsa as an appetizer. The staff were attentive. The decor and quiet place made us love it more. Los Arcos has good food, but the portions are small and it's overpriced for what you get. Example: guacamole with no lime: $10+. Their menu actually says 10+! For a small styrofoam cup of guac. The birria is excellent but tiny. Twice I have ordered pickup and items have been missing. I regret tipping for a pickup order when they don't even get the order right. Google says $10-20. I paid $60 for pickup for 1 order of 3 quesabirrias ( no sides) and an enchilada. Pretty disappointed when you order extra food, pick it up and it's not there. The food was very bland. I got one of the soups and it tasted very plain and sort of grainy and the chicken pieces were big. Even after I added a lot of seasonings it was still lacking flavor. I was also surprised to learn that chips and salsa are no longer complimentary. That's their choice, but it definitely changes the experience a bit. I ordered the 3 steak taco dinner. Unfortunately, the steak was quite tough, and by the time I got to my second taco, the food had gone cold. I also ordered chips separately, and they didn't taste fresh at all. Pickup Order: Steak Torta, Chorizo Burrito, Rice, Beans. Tortas and burritos are fine, not much meat is put into them but the flavors are okay. Rice and Chips we got were clearly from yesterday, chips were extremely stale and the rice is completely flavorless and pale. Definitely nothing to be proud of. We never got our order of Beans we instead got a tub filled up with mayonnaise, we called for a refund and were denied any refunds, even though we were given a tub of mayo. Delicious, rich, mellow broth with juicy chunks of meat and hominy that "pops" when you chew it. Chimichanga with spicy pork: My BF had this, and I didn't hear a WORD while he was devouring, it was really tasty. And GIANT. The salsas you get with your food are all way too spicy. I think the spice level gave our entire party GI problems last time we went, or at least I like to think it was the spice and not the food itself. Haven't been there enough times to tell.
