Food was surprisingly very good! I did however have to send a plate back because it was not served hot enough. They literally served it super fast after having ordered it, I said to myself wow that was fast!! I kindly asked them to warm it up more. I was so hungry as honestly did not mind it at all. Otherwise the service was nice and attentive. And food was very tasty!! read more

Delicious! We placed an order for pickup and the wait time was a little longer than expected but it was honestly worth it! We had the bandeja montañera and the pollo a la plancha as main dishes and they were delicious for the most part; the beans were a little bland. The portions were fantastic too! We also had beef empanadas and buñuelos. The buñuelos were so good! Empanadas were ok in my opinion but my husband and son really liked them. We can't wait to go back and try more things from their menu! read more

I like their bakery BUT they didn't want to help me replace an old yucca bread I bought the day before, even though I was buying more bread. When I told them the yucca bread was rock hard, their response was it was supposed to be.. That's it, not a huge deal, but would've been nice to replace it with something edible. read more

It's been a while since I've been here but the service is always great! We were seated right away and for our appetizer we had the chicharrone ceviche. That ceviche was amazing the pork was fried to perfection and sauce was so good. I've never had a ceviche like that and I would order it again. For my main I ordered the breaded pork chop with a side of fries and maduros. Everything was good the pork chop was lightly breaded and tender. My brother had ordered the bandeja paisa and he always enjoys it. Overall I enjoyed it and will definitely be back. read more

I went there yesterday and honestly I'm really disappointed. I've been coming to this restaurant for almost 2 years and always loved it, but my recent experience completely changed my opinion. After finishing my food, I asked for a container to take the leftovers home. The server brought one out but accidentally dropped it. She immediately went back to the kitchen and came right back with another container, almost too quickly. Something felt off, so I checked it, and it was clearly dirty. It looked like the exact same container she had dropped. My boyfriend and I look young, so maybe she thought we wouldn't notice or wouldn't care, but that's unacceptable. If they're willing to do something like that right in front of customers, it honestly makes me wonder what else happens behind the scenes when nobody is watching. Sadly, after being a loyal customer for so long, I won't be coming back. read more

Food was really good, nice to change the flavor up. The waitress were nice and the place is beautiful. It has a nice vibe.

Over the weekend I revisited this restaurant and I'm so glad to mention that the food, the service, and the wonderful staff is still providing a wonderful service. Came back for the bandeja paisa and the empanadas! Thanks to the staff for helping celebrate my bday and for singing to me! Ps Your Halloween costumes were incredible! I loved the new signs and the added outside seating. Please play more vallenatos! :) read more

Good food and friendly, if not very attentive, service. Their coffee is excellent! However, most of the staff does not speak English so ordering can be difficult unless you know at least a little bit of Spanish. read more

I'm sorry, but Colombian food is one of the epitomes of Latin cuisine, everything was just off, if you start with the beans and they're off then you know it's the beginning of the end, don't know what's going on, im sorry but time to step it up, there's plenty of colombian places that will show you how it's done, probably won't come back. good luck. read more

Review for Los Antojos We've been coming to Los Antojos for a long time and have always enjoyed the food and the experience. However, on our most recent visit, we noticed something that caught us off guard--a service charge for to-go containers. It wasn't a large amount, but it felt strange, especially since we've never seen that charge before. I politely asked the server about it, but she wasn't sure why there was a charge. I then asked a gentleman near the cashier, and he said he didn't know either--it's just something they do now. As someone who also works in the restaurant industry, I've never seen a place charge for a basic foam container, especially one that isn't even reusable. If this is a new policy, I think it should be clearly communicated--either on the menu or by the staff--so customers aren't surprised at the end of their meal. Also, if tip is automatically included, it would be helpful for servers to let customers know upfront. I still enjoy the food here, and I want to continue supporting the restaurant, but I hope management considers being more transparent with these kinds of charges in the future. read more

We were here on a rainy Friday night and sat outside. Our server was great and we were served our food about 5 minutes after she took our order. We ordered the 2 person picada. The sausage was great but the chicken and steak were over cooked. The pork pieces were too fatty. My husband also ordered the fried snapper, which was ok. We might try it out again because it's so close to our house. I might just go safe and order a churrasco. read more

First time here. In on a Wednesday at 6:30 for dinner. Trying their Churrasco Steak. Nice place, not busy and got seated right away. Music kind of loud. The don't have a printed menu. With your cell phone, you scan a QR Code stuck to the table to see the menu. Ordered: Churrasco a la Plancha with 2 sides $21.50. Cooked medium rare with red beans and rice. Maduros - 4 pieces only -- $6.00 Chicharrón Con Arepita $6.25 The steak was flame grilled which added flavor but it could have been much more tender. My server. Brahian did a good job. 18% tip added for 3 or more guests. read more

Los Antojos Restaurant - Palabras sabias. - Colombian Near Me - Miami, Florida

I have been a cliente of this restaurant on and off for years, and while my experience has been mediocre, we come here for the culture. However recently I have noticed poor service and discrepencies with the food. Including a recent purchase of a soup which had melted styrofoam inside our sancocho/soup. No Manager was available to offer any apologies or offer any compensation for something that can cause cancer. I would advise anyone who has ordered from this restaurant to be weary of their hazardous and unsafe practices which can have health consequences in the future and to those who are thinking of purchasing anything from this restaurant to be aware, anything hidden or unknown will have no Manager or Owner to save face. The workers are left without a manager and have no idea how to resolve customer related issues. This is not the first time I have had issues with this restaurant. Also, their prices online do not reflect their prices when you actually order. I have been misled many times like this and there is never a Manager around who you can actually take this up with and remedy the issue. These dishonest tactics should have no place in our American society. read more

This spot is a definite 3 star! We had avoided coming here for a while, even though it's very close to our home, because of the reviews. But then I was craving a bandeja paisa and this is the closest Colombian Restaurant. My bf and I both ordered a bandeja paisa, it was not bad, but not great either. A little on the bland side. We also got empanadas and they also were not great. So yeah, this will probably be the first and last time we come here. I rather drive a little further to get something that is worth writing a 5 star review for. The service and ambiance was fine, so I think a 3 star is appropriate. read more

I'm giving 2 stars because the service was good and the server was attentive. However, the food quality was poor. We got the ceviche for appetizer and it was by far the worse ceviche I've ever tried. Horrible place to eat! My husband and I went last night for dinner we ordered a ceviche that was warm and tasteless. This morning my husband woke up with food poisoning. I got Tostones with chicken with two sides so I got rice and beans. The chicken was cold and tasted old and the beans seemed to be water down. First time eating here and I wanted a wholesome Columbian soup. I normally have bad experiences ordering soup from places because it's always too salty or too bland. I ordered 1 each for me and my husband as a pickup order and when he got home he told me his car smelled so good. Let me tell you I absolutely loved it. So flavorful, tasty, not salty, seasoned well, and very delish. It had the right amount of meat, corn, plantains and yuca. I look forward to ordering from there again an trying other stuff. read more
