Super Burrito Bowl Mex
Alexandra I.

It was my first time here and tried the Mexican Super Burrito Bowl, which was surprisingly tasty! More authentic burrito bowl I'd say. They offer free chips and salsa and their variety of salsas are great! Service was quick, plenty of indoor seating, and can get busy! Ambiance is great, with clean restaurant and lively music playing while the cooks cook. I'd come back if craving the same bowl!

Regular Nachos
Meltem O.

I ordered churros and nachos and loved them all! The churros were absolutely delicious and very generous in portion. They serve three pieces in one order, and they're filled too! As for the nachos, I picked them up and couldn't eat them right away, so they had lost their crispiness. But they were still amazing. How is that even possible? The staff was super friendly, and the music inside was so lovely. I truly felt like I was in Mexico. I'll definitely come back to try the other options. I'm really curious!

This place is located in the ranch 99 plaza in Mountain View. It's clean and the service is fast. They have BBQ chicken quesadilla which came in a. orange chipotle tortilla and tasted super good!!

My usual is the fish burrito bowl. Really flaky, mild white fish, lots of salsa and pineapple. The salsa bar is stocked up! Free chips, and friendly service. Very fast and affordable. I also love their tacos!

Choice of meats

A fast food Mexican restaurant with a large variety of items and cleaner than most. The pastor and pollo are ok, the carnitas is hit or miss, and the asada is disappointing. Regular Tacos are one meat w/beans and pico de gallo. Super Tacos also include cheese, beans, & avocado. I prefer the super version. Crispy Tacos have cotija cheese, and chipotle mayo. Doesn't work for me Regular Burritos are one meat w/beans, rice and pico de gallo. Super Burritos also include guacamole, cheese and sour cream. Again get 'em super. BBQ Pork Burrito is an orange chipotle tortilla with BBQ sauce on pork, rice, veggie fajitas, pico de gallo and cheese. A tad too sweet for my taste. Fish Burrito has green cabbage, guacamole, chipotle mayo, pico de gallo and pineapple sauce. Nope. Any burrito can be ordered "Wet" which means red sauce, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Lots of cheese. Los amigos is ok but inconsistent. There are better and much worse options nearby.

Shrimp Taco

I returned many times after my initial delivery and wanted to update my review. The wet burrito is consistently great, and their shrimp taco is absolutely delicious. The shrimp is incredibly fresh, tender, and juicy, almost like sushi. The spicy mayo sauce is excellent. Most of the time, when we pick up the food from the store, the chips are fresh. There's a salsa bar with onions, cilantro, and various sauces, which you don't get with DoorDash. So, it's best to pick up the food or eat in rather than get it delivered. The cashier lady is always welcoming and kind, no matter how busy the store gets. Additionally, their horchata is delicious!

This joint has an extensive menu with "something for everyone". The staff is friendly and helpful. Good tasting food, based on my Wet Super Carnitas burrito. Large portion for the price paid. In fact, I was able to save half of it for tomorrow's lunch. Orders come with complimentary chips. Their salsa bar have a good number of options, from mild to wild fair.

Chile Relleno! I…read morecame here for takeout at about 2 pm, since the nearby La Salsa has closed and I Yelped a few places. Parking: as others mention, there are only 2 spaces in front on San Antonio Road, I didn't know they had a back lot. It's on the same block as Chef Chu. Luckily there wasn't much traffic so I was able to back in which made leaving easy. Ambiance: nice. It was a bit warm waiting for my takeout order, they had the front door open. They also have a nice outdoor covered patio eating area in front, see the photo. Service: when I entered there were no other customers, only a bartender who didn't acknowledge me. I was about to yell out but Mariana (the name on my receipt) appeared and took my order. Food: Chile Relleno plate w black beans, rice, a small bag of fresh tortilla chips, and two kinds of mildly spicy salsa. The Poblano pepper was stuffed w cheese and had a tasty egg batter, covered w a red salsa like sauce. It was quickly devoured! Price: $17 + $1.55 tax + tip. Chile Relleno by itself is $10 I think. I would return to try other items. I had a hankering for a good Chile Relleno and was satisfied!

We were able to pull in but it was a challenge to leave - might be better to park in the back of the lot next door. SO first - their chips and salsa!! MY OH MY! crunchy homemade chips - I ended getting refill and loved their red salsa. I tried not to eat too much but it was hard. I loved the thickness with the right amount of salt and that salsa! SO GOOD and it comes out warm! So you want to eat it while warm! LOL Hubby got their Cochinito Pibli - which is a Mayan dish from yucatan. The pork is slowly braised in banana leaves, fresh fruit juices, herbs, and achiote. And served with the most delicious black beans and rice. I kept eating his beans off his plate! LOL... comes with hot tortillas. The only thing was I didn't realize you can choose, flour or corn. He probably would have preferred the corn but we got the flour. It was a VERY flavorful dish and delicious!! I got a special - their crab enchiladas. I was torn as I wanted to try another dish on their menu but thought since this was a special and crab season I'd go for the special. And I'm glad I did. They put so much crab into it and it had crunchy veggies within it so you had texture and everything wasn't just "soft". The only negative was I had to put the red salsa on top with my enchilada. Otherwise it lacked some flavor. A sauce would have been great. Overall it was a nice solid Mexican restaurant and we're glad we tried it. They have a lot of seating - a great bar with lots of offerings.

The restaurant is well decorated, feels lively, and is very dark. Maybe a bit too dark - we had to use our flashlight on our phone just to read the menu. We ordered a few items: - Guacamole 3.5/5 , tasted fresh but needs salt. - Ceviche 3/5 , A bit on the sweeter side than we would like - Verde Carne Asada Burrito meal: 4/5, pretty solid actually just wish the portion was a bit bigger for $24 - Steak Fajitas.... 1/5. My mother usually orders fajitas when we go out to eat at mexican restaurant, but we did not see it on the menu, so we asked the server if they had it and he said yes! Now we know why it's probably not on the menu... The meat was SUPER oily, I mean like drenched in oil, if you put a flashlight on the dish, you will quite literally see a puddle of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Second, the meat is very very tough and dry, similar to some meat you would reheat in the microwave after leaving it in the fridge for a few days. This dish is literally unacceptable and the worst part is the fact it costs $29. DO NOT ORDER THIS. Since, this was a dinner for an early mother's day. We did not want to cause any complaint or trouble to the restaurant as it was super packed. We just won't be coming back here anymore. The server himself was friendly, but man did the service suck. We had to flag down someone every time to bring water, chips, and the check. There was no staff check in ever. In fact, they actually lost my credit card and we were waiting around 10- 15 minutes to just get our check back. Everything took forever and the service was super slow. It was a lot of sitting and waiting for each thing. Losing my credit card and having us wait 10-15 minutes to get it back is unacceptable for a professional restaurant that is not on the lower end of things either.

Review of the items I got: -Asada Fries: was hoping to get something similar to what I'm used to in SoCal. I got mine with Carnitas and no pics de gallo. Generally in SoCal we don't put pico de gallo on ours. Although this did not taste like the SoCal kind(that classic so heavy and rich heart attack flavor), it was still awesome. It had all the otherwise same ingredients, slightly less cheese but a more good quality type of cheese, but still was missing the heart attack flavor. The flavor was still with the same depth, just not heavy/greasy sensation on the stomach and taste buds. I think its because as I noted everything is literally made same day and even the fries they do fresh. The carnitas were also very juicy and overall the portion for everything was very large. I will get this again def. -birria taco: i like that they dont overcharge on these and again the fresh aspect is really good. -flan: better than most I've had. Very smooth and just right amount of sweetness. -Jamaica: Im very excited to say they do make the real Jamaica with the flowers themselves. They do not use the powder a lot of places do. It tasted perfect and not overly sweet so yeah I loved it. One mistake I made was I got so starstruck by the freshness and care of the ingredients that I didnt grab any salsas to try.
