Told me it would take one day it took 5 days (weather was not an issue). Tore down 2 sides of fence and had a mess everywhere - even in the neighbor's yard (see pic - I was worried that someone would get hurt with the exposed nails.) And left the side open to neighbors for 2 days. Did not haul off all the old posts. Had asked them to use screws (multiple times and was assured they would) when putting the panels back on - they used a nail gun mostly and some of the panels are already falling off (it has been only a couple days). They finished after dark, so I stupidly was unable to inspect a final time. I emailed them and asked them to come back, but they are not responding.

Communicated well and was professional. And was clear with his pricing. He was not the least expensive but was competitive in his pricing. We scheduled service for the next day. So that was a plus! We've been in our house for 10 days and I didn't want the grass to grow taller and potentially get a notice from our HOA. They arrived perfectly on time. Cut the lawn and trimmed a flowering plant that was a little too close to the patio/ house. They worked quickly and efficiently. My yard looks great! They will be coming back biweekly, and I'm looking forward to enjoying our front and backyard.

First a stay in the hospital and then endless doctor appointments to sort things out. I texted David to cancel our last service because we wouldn't be home to unlock the gate. We lost track of virtually everything in the panic I think most parents can relate to. When your kid is in the hospital, you don't stop and take time to dig out lawn care invoices. That can all be sorted when the emergency is over. Right? Not so much I guess. David apparently likes to threaten *filing police reports* for invoices that are less than 30 days past due. This is absurd to the point that I don't have any other commentary. He should feel ashamed, but never even acknowledged my text when I paid the invoice and told him what had happened. There are better people to cut your lawn.

My review is incomplete, as you'll see…read more I just requested a quote; it's a piddling job (one-time service for a small yard to mow after tenants didn't, basically), and I know it's not worth much bother to a company. However, David (or someone there -- doesn't matter) instantly responded to note that I'm outside of their service area (hey, too bad, but useful to know), and -- !!!-- named a couple of other companies for me to contact instead. Maybe it's all bot-driven. I'll take it; not only was the response fast and courteous, it was potentially very helpful, and unexpected. As it turns out, I'd already reached someone else who can help, but I thought I'd point out that David's service is obviously on the ball and helpful even to a non-customer.

About 20 minutes after we left the house, we received a call from one of the workers who told us he was just informed of the scheduled appointment and was apologetic for missing it. Especially impressive when I noticed he took the time to cover our new fence so the stump grinding didn't make a mess...nice touch and very thoughtful. Upping stars to 3 for not ghosting entirely, but should not have taken a negative review to get a response. I provided a detailed project specification to this vendor 7 days ago--which is an attractive company given that they are covered by the Yelp Guarantee. They are stated to have an average 10 minute response time with a 65% response rate. Seven days later, I've heard nothing. So I'm either in the 35% of their non-responses or I'm an outlier in their turnaround timeframe. I wish I had better things to say since this is an unfortunate lone wolf one star rating in a sea of five stars for this company, but "real people, real reviews" is the rule.

He offered suggestions and ideas as well. I just wanted simple, low maintenance with rocks, and just enough grass for my dog. Their quote (with a large amount of rocks) was better than a quote with just grass and their sprinkler redo price was almost $1000 cheaper. They also completed the work while it was raining and had leftover grass that they laid in my neighbors yard (aside from the area we fixed bc the pool company destroyed their grass and sprinklers) at no extra charge. My grass never looked terribly patchy, so they must have high standards of what trash will lay and how they lay it. I highly recommend them.
