Stopped in while visiting Cloudland Canyon State Park. The staff was quick moving yet still friendly and attentive. Plenty of seating in booths or at tables. The food was excellent! Legit Mexican food...we happen to be in the area; a layover stop on our way home from a Florida vacation. After getting situated with our camper for the evening we looked for Mexican restaurants and this was the first to pop up. The place is unassuming and quite plain out front. Inside, the place needs some attention to detail but the staff was friendly and the prices were right. I gauge a lot of Mexican restaurants on their Carnitas (14 dollars), or fajitas and this place did not disappoint. Carnitas are a more authentic Mexican dish and if they can't do that right the rest is an uphill battle. These carnitas rocked: moist and flavorful with rice beans, and a salad of pico de gallo, lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro and pickled jalapeño's. My wife's Grilled Burrito Chicken (12) was excellent. Chicken was moist and tender. Stuffed with rice and the typical fillings. Sorry no pictures, we were too hungry and honestly did not have high expectations. Was I wrong! They have beer, wine, and last night caught the last day of Cinco de Mayo special: Tecate beer for $2.50! I highly recommend Los 3 Amigos! read more

We always visit this location when we are in the area and even buy gift cards for family so they can enjoy. The people that work there are great for the most part with the exception of this visit. The server took care of us but wasn't the friendliest. The hostess/manager was very nice and helped us get our gift card. We came for the taco specials that night. Tacos were good and plenty of chips and good salsa. Plenty other options on the menu along with beer choices. The location in Trenton as far as I know only offers wine based margaritas because the local government makes it so hard to obtain a full liquor license. The other two locations offer full service. One of my favorites in the area and great people. I recommend giving it a try. read more

I recently moved to the area and was in the mood for some mexican food. Only 2 places pulled up in Trenton and i had eaten at the other one in the past so i tried this one. It doesn't look that great from the outside but that never stops me. Hole in the wall places are my favorite. Happy to say the inside is nice. I was promptly greeted by my waitress and seated. Ordered the lunch combo #3 Chicken enchilada, hard chicken taco, rice and beans for $5.69. My waitress brought me a bowl of chips and salsa and my drink ( water with lemon ) in a big glass right away. I asked if they had any hot salsa which she replied yes we have bottled or fresh in house. I of coarse asked for the fresh one. It was a green salsa and had a good kick. The chips and both salsas were very good. Before i knew it my food arrived. The taco was stuffed with chicken and really good and juicy. The rest of the meal was great too.
