I took my civic in because it turned off in the middle of the road. I took it in, and it took a few days to hear back. Finally they told me nothing is wrong with the car. Well a few months later same thing happens. I did a pretty simple diagnostic on the car and several errors came up regarding the ECU. I have no idea how they didn't catch this or even mention it- and it easily could've caused me to be in a wreck. Probably won't go back and a little disappointed because I heard great things.

This location is continuing to operate as RPM or a Pep Boys/RPM Hybrid at this time. When one walks into this location one will experience a brightly lit and very clean waiting area. I was greated in a professional manor even though both counter guys were answering questions on the phone at that time. I had called earlier to get a time estimate for a radiator flush on my truck while I waited. I was told an hour and a half to get me in so I took the couple of miles ride to Pep Boys/RPM because I wanted this done before an upcoming trip. After one of the counter guys took my and the truck's information it was driven to the back. That was much faster than the hour and a half I was promised over the phone. Within a few minutes of the truck being in the work area I was given a vehicle inspection report. They informed me of a couple of small issues I was aware of and I asked them to take care of one of them today. At 11:47am I was texted a link to follow the progress of my repair. At 12:42pm, it was less than an hour after the truck was taken back, and the work was already complete. Much better than the amount of time to get the truck into the workstation that I was promised over the phone. I was charged a good price and was happy with the service. Even though there is another repair company closer to my home going to this location it is a much better choice.

I did schedule that service out 2 weeks. Nonetheless insie was clean, spacious, there wasn't a list of "to do's" like the dealerships hound you for. Come to find out, they were out. Against my request and wants, I was talked into pennzoil platinum. "All oil is the same" No, it's not but go ahead. Still a decent oil. I was already there, let's just get it done. As I sit there and watch 2 of the techs walk around lost on what they're looking for, the third was instructed to go ahead and drain. A couple minutes after the tech draining oil was down in the pit, the two techs on the ground had a couple little power meetings in front of the car talking real quiet. Come to find out, they're "somehow out of the platinum oil too, all we have is our brand". Right, of course that's what's going on. My first question was is the oil already drained with the response was yes it is. Come on people. All you do is oil changes. You know what you're out of. You know you were out of mobile one. You know you were out of pennzoil platinum. Whether you believe all oil is the same or not, the business practice that was pushed is by far the shadiest way to do business. I'll admit, I was given a discount which ended up being, what I believe, it's just the full price for the house brand oil. Discounted from the oil I wanted, yes. Not the point in this equation. I know nothing will come of this review but everyone deserves to know how this place does business before you waste your time and money.
