The whole project to replace my leaking drain pipe, starting with advice-seeking at Howe, to grabbing the right sawzall blade at Ace to cut through the pipe above the trap, took about 2 hours of casual effort including travel time and cost about $21 in parts from Howe and a few bucks for the blade at Ace.

I do not mind the $100 for the service call and maybe ~ 10 paid minutes it took to say we need a new faucet, but I DO MIND paying 50 minutes X $2.00/minute = $100 for a friendly discussion!!
