While attempting to remove my bathroom faucet aerator I broke it off inside the faucet and just did…read morenot have the tools to remove it and I have the knack of making things worse so I called Cardinal. I was fully prepared to pay the $109 service call fee to have them take a look. They were able to remove it. Great. He then said the aerator was proprietary to that faucet and he wouldn't be able to find one that fit. And he was going to quote a new faucet and installation, which I was willing to hear. He went to his truck for over a half hour. Came back and gave me his CHEAPEST price for faucet and installation. $2131.10 2100 dollars to install a bathroom faucet!!!! Obviously I said no thanks. I then ended up finding a new aerator at Walmart for 10 bucks (2 in a pack) that fit perfectly. While I understand it may not have been a standard aerator, the fact I was able to find a replacement at Walmart makes me think they should have been able to give me an option other than a $2100 faucet installation. They may have kept me as a customer.
