At 2 o'clock, he was standing in my driveway with a smile on his face. He took a quick look at the problem, weighed my door and got to work replacing the springs, explaining to me what I needed and what he was doing. We had a pleasant chat as he replaced the springs, made adjustments to my door opener, lubed the rollers, track and springs, and tightened the nuts on the hinges, even replacing a couple that were missing. My door works better than it has in years. Being the nosey guy I am, I asked him how long he'd been in the business, and he told me 29 yrs., the last 7 with Hung Right ( I hope I remembered the numbers right). The best part was how pleased he is with working for such a great company. " The Brothers" are really good people and treat everyone right. Boy, that's nice to hear. Thank you, Scott, for your professionalism and such a pleasant attitude. You made my day. Rick H.

During the installation, I asked for the details of price cause the opener model is $300~$380 online. I understand that a professional installation costs more than buying the opener online, and I expected to pay for labor and service. I was trying to understand what I would pay for. However, the technician suddenly became visibly upset when I asked about the pricing. He raised his voice, and his tone became pretty aggressive. He argued that the online price is fake/impossible and the product online must by used/refurbished. Then he offered a $75 discount and said that at the discounted price he would essentially be doing the job for free and making no money. At that point, I didn't want to argue further because the installation had already started. We went ahead with the work, and the new opener is working properly. The experience left me uncomfortable with how my questions about pricing were handled. I would have appreciated a straightforward explanation of the equipment and installation costs instead.
