A 15 year old door motor finally gave up the good fight. Time for a new one. Based on out 2012 experience with Hung Right Olympia, we called them for service. It was determined that a part actually broke. The service man was profesional and fairly laid out our options. Part replacement was about 1/2 of the new motor price. Considering the age of the broken motor, we went with new. The service man listened to our needs and came up with a unit that was, all in all, less cost than had we bought parts "ala carte" as I originally suggested. I noticed that when my garage doors closed, they weren't sealing all the way and some mice were sneaking into the garage. I started the project of replacing all the seals. I have four garage doors and got three done. On the last I noticed it was a different type door ( I think the door was replaced after a boo-boo with it). Well, I closed my garage door on a chair and damaged it. It wasn't that bad but in short time the door was going to need to be replaced. I made the call to Hung Right Doors after a friend referred me to them and I am glad I did! They were to my house on the day of the call and gave me a bid for a new door. Trouble was, with the current supply chain issues they would not be able to get the door until May 25th and it was now January 4th so several month to wait. No problem for them, they made a phone call while at the house and had a service technician here within 30 minutes. They repaired the door to the point where it would function correctly until the new door arrive. Whew! That brings us to today, February 28th...I got a call last Friday, February 25th, and my door arrived earlier than expected and they could install today if I was available. I made myself available and they told me they would be here between 8 and 10 AM. At 8:30 Adam arrived. He got to work quickly and got the old door taken out, installed the new insulated door, and did a meticulous clean up of the area before he left. The entire experience was professional and pleasant.
