What a surprise spot for Wagoner, OK!! I stopped in passing through and greeted with a cool little spot with bright and elaborate decor, a great layout and excellent service!! My only experience here so far was at lunch time. I got a plate of carnitas and it came out fast! The meat was flavorful and tender and came with plenty of rice, beans, salad and guacamole!! The chips and salads weren't anything "special" but was delicious and the chips came out warm. All in all a great experience and a new go to spot for me when I'm in Wagoner! read more

Just to show how much customer service means ... my daughter had a bowl of salsa dumped right into her lap by the waiter and he never even apologized. Didn't even bring extra napkins until we asked. This happened 2 years ago and we have never been back. read more

Great food, all the waiters are so nice and on top of everything! Great portions and prices! Recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Welp, so much for excellent food. Ordered Tacos Mexicanos, a usual for as many times as we've stopped on our travels, this time Pastor. It was covered in onions and cilantro with radishes and a grilled pearl onion for sides, a good start, but the sauce could not hide that this "meat" was almost all gristle I sent it back, the server apologized and didn't even ask if I wanted something else, It was disappointing that no manager came out to follow up, with no attempt to make this right. Check out this video of their excuse for charro beans. Our server said the style comes with "sausage and bacon." Don't you mean Vienna and fat? This place sorrowfully has gone downhill quick! read more

Great food, great service! Not only great service but fast as well! Be careful, they have a tendency to over charge at times.

Food is always good, service is amazing, just everything about it is good. It is always clean

Portions were alright, quality was great, and service was great. The inside also looks very nice.

We have been here one time before and the food was great. We tried to come this evening and arrived over an hour before they closed. They were NOT busy and more than 7 employees were sitting together just rolling silverware. They sat us and completely ignored us for over 10 min before finally getting us drinks and then it was an additional 10 min before someone came and basically tossed chips and salsa on the table and no one came to take our order. It was 25 minutes before one of them finally got up and came over laughing like he just remembered we were there. We got up and left. Extremely upset and disappointed because the food was so good but the service was an absolute joke and completely unprofessional. read more

Service and food are amazing. Drink selection is on point! They have takeout so if you just don't want to go in makes a great at home dinner date read more

Food was good. Salsa was great. I had the chicken street tacos. The chicken was tender and good. Beans and rice were also good. Staff was friendly! Frequently busy place. read more

I really liked the service, definitely great customer service congratulations! Let's talk about the delicious onions we get complementary omg delicious, beans and rice was great, the portions dice was very good, we order a fajita for two but it can feed three for sure. My only thing was the salsas I think probably the green tomates where a little acid but it could be that the tomates just came like that because everything looks fresh. Will definitely be back! I love that they have in their menu a vegan option, my daughter is vegan so it's so hard to find Mexican restaurants with this option. Nice job everyone keep it up! read more

Lopez Grill Mexican Restaurant - a car parked in front of a restaurant - Mexican Near Me - Wagoner, Oklahoma

Don't let the negative reviews stop you from coming here. This place is amazing! We eat here about once a week. Super affordable. Family of 3 can eat for 40$ with a fair tip included. 10/10 will come again read more

We were just traveling thru Wagoner and stopped to eat here. Very impressed with their food and their portion size! The service was great too! the salsa was good and the food was amazing! If we're traveling thru this town again, we will definitely be stopping here again! read more

The Lopez Grill Fajitas was awesome! For $12.49, you get chorizo, chicken, beef, shrimp and a pork chop. I was wondering why my friend totally cracked up so bad when my husband ordered double portions for steak fajitas since it was the special of the day on Saturday. Well, we were flabbergasted when our waiter served us our food. It was literally two portions of everything - meat, beans, rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, lettuce, sour cream and tortillas. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions. The margarita is not very strong which works well for me. You may have to ask them to add more alcohol if that's what you prefer. We are glad to have another option for food when we are down at Fort Gibson Lake. read more

Lopez Grill Mexican Restaurant - Mexican Near Me - Wagoner, Oklahoma

In some aspects the Lopez Grill was an unexpected surprise. The food was very good, but what was different about the Lopez Grill (that you typically don't see in small town Oklahoma Mexican restaurants) was that the owners are trying to convey hint of contemporary and professional presence as seen in some of the high end Mexican restaurants. The interior was nicely decorated. The really unusual thing was that the waiters all wore a crisply pressed shirts and a tie! Now that is something you just don't see too often anymore, anywhere! Their service is good. This location has an outdoor dining area too. This is a small chain of four restaurants located in Muskogee, Guthrie and Wagoner, Oklahoma. I have eaten at the Lopez Grill in Muskogee. I believe this location is better. Their menus are on line at their website if you plan on visiting any of their restaurants. We had the #7. Enchilada, Chile Relleno, Rice & Beans and the Enchiladas Roughers which are: three Shredded Chicken Enchiladas topped with their Special Habanero Sauce, served with Rice & Beans. The #7 was a large plate of Mexican food items flavored and presented in a traditional style. The Enchiladas Roughers (one of their signature dishes) were three enchiladas packed with seasoned chicken breast meat and covered in a very mild queso that had a touch of habanero pepper. I like hot food, but I made sure to ask how hot the sauce was before I ordered. It is mild, so I added a chili toreado to spice it up. It too was a generous plate of food. I didn't give up on the three enchiladas, though until I was done. Very good! read more

Good food nice people what more could you ask for? We did takeout, the place looked nice.

We love Lopez!!!! We have been multiple times and the food is always delicious. We never have to wait long to be seated even with a large group! read more

Good food...service is decent. Maybe not the friendliest of staff but it might have more to do with how busy they are...not unfriendly but not chatty either. Food is typical Mexican. Salsa is ok but queso is better. Nice portions and reasonably priced. Probably won't become your absolute favorite but still a good choice. Would definitely repeat. read more

Food is "ok." My only issue is the last few times I've been it's very messy. It's hard to find a table that doesn't have old, dried food on the wall next to it. I wonder what the kitchen looks like. I would go more often if it were cleaner though because the staff is very friendly and the food is ready pretty quickly. read more

There are many choices of Mexican in Wagoner. But this is my absolute all time favorite. I would even drive to Muskogee to eat Lopez if I had to. The white dip is to die for! read more

This is a great spot to stop in for lunch. The portions are huge for the price you pay. The restaurant looks great as in it looks like it has been completely redone inside. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food took a little longer than I would like but it was worth the wait once you got to tasting all the great flavors in the meal. Definitely stop in! read more

We chose to eat on the patio. The server was very accommodating even though it was very warm and there was lots of available seating inside. The chips were served still warm which I loved. We both ordered from the lunch menu. I had the chimichanga platter. It was excellent! Plenty of cheese sauce, nice sized portions of guacamole, pico di Gallo, sour cream and lots of beans and rice. Certainly didn't scrimp because it was a lunch special. All yummy. My friend got the Speedy Gonzales platter. Taco came wrapped in foil to stay warm. Again all delicious. I would definitely go again if I'm ever in Wagoner again. read more

We ordered to go because we were taking out in laws around the town but we would have loved to stay and eat. The food is super good and the staff are really helpful. Easy access to menus and from what I saw guest were seated right away. My son got the chicken quesadilla and he finished it so fast when we got home! He's a slow Eater so that tells you something if he finished it quick. read more

Servers were very friendly. Food delivered pretty quickly. Salsa was wonderful! Lunch entrees were very tasty and very generous portions.

Unfriendly staff but best Tex-mex around. The Lopez Grill on 69 in Muskogee is so much better and the staff actually acknowledge you... occasionally crack a snail and OMG they refill UK your glass in Muskogee! How can two restaurants with the same name be so different?!? read more

Was driving by and took a risk given that there were only fast food options around. This place exceeded expectations. Food - 5 Very tasty veggie quesadillas. We didn't try any meat dishes. Tasty margaritas. Service - 5 Fast, friendly, and casual. Ambience - 4 Nice decor with a Mexican theme. Not super refined but decent. A number of TVs to watch sports. Value - 4.5 Many dish options under $10 and large portions. Not to mention food was very tasty. Overall, this place warrants a visit. read more

It took a while to get our food, but it was nice to find a place besides Taco Bell or Burger King where we could eat! The vegan offerings we got included rice, beans, corn tortillas, and steamed vegetables. They have fajita vegetables too, but I didn't ask if they can cook them dry. read more

Came for lunch, ordered a sweet tea and received unsweet tea, when I asked the waiter for a new drink he got rude and kept asking me why, after that discussion he told me if I wanted a new drink I would still have to pay for my sweet tea, all in all the food is great but the service is cheeks read more

The food is very good. I loved the "Muskogee Special" which you get tortilla's and cheesy rice with peppers and mushrooms aswell as others. It was very good! I highly recommend the food. read more

The best mexican food I've had in years. Quaint atmospheric and the guacamole especial is the best!

We went here for lunch. The taco salad was very good. It was also the special of the day so the price was good also. I also had a margarita which was good. The salsa did not disappoint. The reason I give this place 4 instead of 5 stars was the service . The wait staff was not that friendly. read more

Friendly atmosphere and excellent food! Chile relleno and shredded beef enchiladas were awesome.
