Last night, after the hubby's doctor appointment, we went and picked up lupper to take home. After surfing the menus from a few places I landed on La Antigua for a simple portion of grilled chicken, and portion of grilled shrimp with no spices, to go with some noodles I had at home(when your tummy is picky you have to get creative. It actually worked out nicely and I had a lovely dinner). When I placed my order they paid attention to the special instructions to the letter and it made for a great dining experience when I got home.

I hate that I keep finding great taco places in random Oklahoma small towns versus where I live. Either way, back to the food. I will definitely be returning to this place without a doubt. See you in about 2 weeks. :)

So if ambience is a # 1 for your experience this is not your place. The food however is fresh and fantastic. This is the real deal in street tacos. I had the carne asada and the Pastor tacos. Super delicious with all the right spices dancing the Macarena on your taste buds. Wash it down with Coke in a glass bottle to let that fizz spread the joy! Those kids need a nap…read more Street Tacos are boring. I seldom order them. An exception today. Tacos La Morena's Street Tacos were outstanding. Tender steak, Cilantro and onion on double thick corn tortillas. A side of perfect beans and rice. Very good salsa roja and salsa verde served in the plastic squirt bottles. I almost used the entire bottle of salsa roja. The restaurant is a small, friendly, family ran operation. The clean interior is plain with café style booths and a few tables. Grab your favorite canned or bottled soda from the cooler. The food is served on foam plates with plastic tableware. The ambiance is afternoon day care. Several, 2- to 3-year-old, well behaved kids were under mom's watchful eye while she worked the front counter. They still made a lot of ear-splitting noise. They were getting a little ornery this late in the afternoon. A rating of 4.7 stars on Google with 272 reviews. Muskogee, here is where you eat Street Tacos.

Online specifically states Lopez Grill offers "Lunch Specials"…read more Online advertises Flautas for $8.00 in the Lunch Special section. The only disclaimer is that it states the offer is not valid after 3pm. I showed the manager that I was being overcharged and that the online price is supposed to be $8. The manager first tried to say it wasn't valid on the weekends. I pulled up the website on my phone to show it doesn't state that . Then the manager says it's normally $10 dollars before tax and that the $9 price I was charged reflected the discounted price. (This highlights that his original rebuttal was a lie) Again, I told him the advertised price is supposed to be $8. He then pulled up a physical menu and showed me the lunch specials and in pen, someone had wrote the # 9 next to it. I told him I ordered online, there was no physical menu for me to go off, I simply followed the online menu links, looked at the food and prices, and ordered based on what I thought would be value, ie a discounted "Lunch special". I asked for an extra salsa and was told it'd be $1.93 for one extra cup. Previously I'd never been charged, just had salsa given to me. I turned down paying for an extra salsa and instead asked if I they would honor the advertised price that their own website was advertising. He offered me a full refund in exchange for the food back. This place has the worst service and this was an online pick up order. My last dine in visit was absolutely horrible and if the food isn't going to be discounted or sold at the advertised price, the horrible service and horrible attitude does not justify the increased (unadvertised) pricing.
