I love Las Cazuelas! It's always delicious, and they have a huge menu full of options. They also have great bar drinks out of the Mexican choices in Muskogee. Service tonight was superb! We ordered the cold white dip (it's a Muskogee thing), and they didn't have any, so he brought us a queso on the house. That was really nice and above and beyond. First time at Las Cazuelas for Breakfast. I ordered the chorizo and eggs with side of French fries and my Wife ordered Huevos rancheros. Chips and salsa were fresh, side of Guacamole was real Avocados. Rice and beans tasted freshly made, chorizo was not greasy, service was excellent and the food was served hot, no cheese covering here nor needed. Large amount of food even though it was on the lunch menu. Reasonably priced and recommend you try it if you are in Muskogee. For Mexican food Las Cazuelas is the go too place. read more

We had lunch at Las Cazuelas today, and it was good. The portions were large and well-cooked. I had the Las Pescada La Paz (sorry about my spelling. I'll correct it if I can find a menu.) These were fish tacos consisting of lightly fried cubes of fish and red onions served in 3 tortillas. Rice was served on the side and was okay, but a little bland. The tacos came with a sauce in the side that added flavor. I also had a tamale ala carte and enjoyed it. The tortilla chips were good, and the second bowl was warm. The salsa didn't have much heat, but there was a green bottle containing habanero sauce and a small dollop livened up the salsa nicely. Service was good. The ambiance was okay, although every chair and table bore the name of the restaurant in large letters. The menu had numerous items that looked worthy of trying, including a full page of seafood. Terrible customer service, wrong order delivered via door dash and it was kitchens fault. Tried to blame door dasher picking up wrong one until they realized we ordered a large order tied in a bag! They acknowledged it was their fault but couldn't make it right. I was unable to PICK UP so that's the point of using door dash. Said to see manager next day. This is seafood allergy related and was supposed to be CHICKEN chimichanga but they sent SHRIMP!!! I will be taking the full plate back tomorrow. Will never spend another dime there. For this adventure, after running an errand stopped by to pick up dinner. The outside looked nice. The inside was neatly laid out. We got greeted by flashing lights( which honestly drove me a bit batty due to having a seizure disorder. I had to focus my vision on the menu, then the TV on the wall above one of the booths later.) and a burro before making it to the counter to be greeted and asked how many. Once we told the host we wanted to place a to go order, we were handed a menu, and we sat down to look at the menu and make our decision. We decided on what we wanted, told the host, and got rung up. My husband got the Special Dinner Two, and I got the Bravos Fajitas.( I had asked for no onion, but was ignored, the dish had onions). To me the menu seemed to be the typical Mexican menu, that you can find at other Mexican establishments here in Muskogee, with a few variations to it. I had previously checked out the website to try see the menu ahead of time before arrival, but it lead to a photo gallery of pictures of the menu.Which is fine, but I could not read the menu in the format it was in on the site which was microscopic.( you need to make it where the customer can see it and enlarge it). The food was good but not great(but there is always room for improvement.That is how we grow.), it is a place I will keep on my list when we have out of town visitors. Visited this restaurant for the first time today. Prompt service, food was fresh and delicious. My husband had Huevos con Chorizo with papas and I had Huevos Rancheros, both delicious. Chips and salsa with a side of fresh guacamole were very nice. We will definitely be returning. read more

Ok. When you order enchiladas and the red sauce taste like spicy ketchup, it is an insult to the restaurant. When you order a quesadilla and get a fajita with no cheese, it's an insult. The reason I'm reviewing this is because it was obvious the waiter lied to us. I hate being lied to. Especially when it's obvious. It makes me feel as though the person telling the lie thinks I'm stupid enough to believe it. Ok, so the first time I went here I had a great experience. The food was good not great, but here is the kicker. They'd sat me in a round about booth, and they freaking had coco melon playing right above the stinking table! I have three kids! Their ages are three, six, and almost two! Do you know what a freaking blessing that is!? Sure the six year old doesn't like it, but my toddler and baby stopped slobbering on themselves and throwing crap long enough for me and my wife to enjoy dinner and actually have a conversation about her day. Omg bliss. I come back literally for the coco melon a week later. I ask to be put back into the same table. I sit down and to my disappointment there are advertisements playing on the television. Sad day right? Not exactly. Coco is playing on a television far away. I ask the waiter please can you put it on the television by the booth. The waiter walks over to this short buff guy and speaks to him. The short buff guy looks at me as though to size me up and then speaks to the waiter. The waiter comes back and tells me the tv is broken. Bull crap. This waiter was the worst liar ever. You could see it in his eye, and the way the short guy looked at me. It was obvious he made a judgement whether or not I was worth getting up for based on my appearance. I have paint all over me because I remodel houses as a hobby. I look like crap. This is the thing I might look like a bum and I might just drive a beat up pickup, but Im wealthy, and I tip well everywhere I go. This makes me sick. If it's policy it's policy, but it's not. The show was on last time I was there. The tv works. Don't lie to me. I almost got up and left my drinks because of this. However, I sat there and ate the food and gave the waiter a really big tip. Simply because this is the last time I will ever step foot in there again. The short guy needs to find a new hair cut, and a shirt that fits, because it is obviously cutting off the blood to his brain. It's 5:30 and their are maybe ten people in your establishment. Which isn't good. It was empty. I'd be bending over backwards for anyone. You need repeat customers you idiot. Also I'll never step foot into el charro either because I'm sure they're owned by the same people, and that sucks because They have a really good waiter their that I like. I guess I'll just go to Lopez. I'm sure they're owned by different people. Only a fool would open another Mexican restaurant so close to another one, right? Sure, they don't have coco, but they've never lied right to my damn face like these guys did. If you think it's petty, maybe. However it's the principle that gets under my skin. I don't lie to people. I'm a honest guy. Even if honesty might hurt someone's feeling in a business setting. Honesty really is the best policy. We came out for our family dinner night. Right off the bat, our waiter was very short with us. Not too friendly. My husband ordered the enchiladas supreme. The cheese in the enchiladas wasn't melted, and he was not impressed. I had the Chili Verde O Colorado, which I really enjoyed. It was the best I've had in quite awhile!! The tortillas they gave me though were old and crispy. I could honestly break parts of them off into chips. The three stars is for the service. The waiters sat in the back socializing and laughing. My husband tried to get their attention a few times, just to be ignored by different waiters. The lady at the table behind us finally got up and got her own to go boxes, because she was tired of waiting. I'm not sure this is a good restaurant if you've got a family with younger kids.
