Fresh Tasty Food! Health score 85! I looked at the Wagoner County Health Dept. inspection report for Izzy's and this score is legit. Oh, wow this was a great lunch. Two orders of the Enchilada Dinner. Our pick was 2 chicken enchiladas with green sauce, two beef with red sauce, rice, beans and to top it off, delicious fresh chilies toreados (all to go). The enchiladas were packed with meat. The beans had great flavor. The meals came with chips and their excellent salsas. Their hot salsa is a must have. It is a smoky jalapeno. Excellent! The grill's ambiance is a repurposed country store/deli/gas station in a building that has been on old OK SH 33 (E. Admiral) for well over 45 years. Not fancy but clean and serves the purpose. With a good health score and great food this little hole in the wall rates high on my list. read more

Izzy's is so good and the prices are low. But the food is amazing! We eat here all the time. Good salsa and guacamole. They also do take out and are super fast, usually only 10 minutes for takeout. An affordable, delicious and friendly place. The outside appearance is not fancy but the food is better than any "fancy" restaurant I've ever been to. Authentic Mexican food and the staff is lovely! read more

This is a little hole in the wall place but so so yummy! The chips and queso are awesome. The chips taste like they were made fresh, very crunchy. The building looks like it used to be a gas station. Lots of booths and tables inside. Very clean. Good service. I got chicken tamales and my husband got an asada burrito. Both were delicious and were brought out fast. Everyone has heard they saying don't judge a book by its cover. So, don't judge this place by the outward appearance. It must have been a gas station in its former life and is now a little Mexican restaurant. We went after church with friends and we were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I chose the 3 little steeet tacos with rice, beans and a drink for $6.95. Great meal! I picked the pork and pineapple tacos and they were so good. The flavors were spot on! Our son loved the shrimp fajitas, daughter said the taco salad was great and hubby loved the burrito. Chips and salsa, great service and ice cold drinks rounded out a wonderful meal. A little spot out in Catoosa that is so amazing!! The staff is always so nice. The food is always amazing. You get chips and salsa with your order. I always go for the taco plate and every time they load it with cilantro and onions which is how I like my tacos!! The rice and beans is really good. Always taste fresh. I'll jump in here. Yes, the outside looks like it's abandoned and closed. The inside is bright and clean, a lot of seating. The prices are so low! If you are all about atmosphere, this may not be your place. If you want to eat great Mexican food at affordable prices, this is it. The restaurant sets on Admiral Street in an old gas station that has been converted over to have a large sitting area with kitchen. The owner and his family have worked hard to make sure that the ingredients are fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant opened on 3/27/2018. I have had their fajitas and the street tacos, and they both surpassed my expectations. The owner said that on the 1st of April that they would start serving a breakfast of pancakes eggs and an assortment of breakfast items. I am looking forward to trying this out. The tortillas were fresh, And I enjoyed the sauces that was provided. I just wanna be clear this is not Tex-mex, so forget the chips and salsa at the table and come for the good food at reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed. read more

Ordered the taco. Smallest taco I've ever seen No sauce and it had cilantro (which I hate the taste ). Tiny bit of onion no lettuce no cheese no sauce. Did Not like it at all. No margaritas just beer. Won't be back. read more

I took two friends for lunch today at Izzy's. It was the first time any of us had been. We had heard so many good things about it we just had to try it. Nothing elaborate about about the place, but the food and the service was great we all had enchiladas they were so good we've already made plans to come out and have another birthday lunch in a couple of weeks. So if you want to go out and just feel real comfortable you don't got to get dressed up I need some good food inexpensive this is a place for you to go I know we'll be back. read more
