A solid authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is good enough, that I would recommend the restaurant to a friend. Clean comfortable attractive interior. Very good service. Large menu. The salsas are decent; order the salsa picante. The Guacamole was delicious, but likely factory made. For me a relleno and a taco. The taco shell was a little over toasted. A minor complaint. My wife had a simple steak burrito, packed end to end with tender flavorful steak. No significant criticisms of either meal. Of the Mexican restaurants I have tried in Pryor, Pueblo Viejo is at the top of my list. Give Pueblo Viejo a try. read more

Brought the family here at the lunch time frame on a Sunday .. today.. the parking lot was full at 12:35... which we tried to beat the church rush. We were promptly seated -just us four. It's busy. I'm not used to eating easily dissolved powdery like ground beef. I had ordered their burrito, enchilada plate and it just tasted WIERD! The verde sauce was great, pico de gallo needed less onions and more jalapeño pepper! This made me desire for the SantaFe, New Mexico downtown food they serve... now that's real good spicy eating!!! If you ever go eat near the train station in Santa Fe, NM... you won't ever want anything else. I gave this restaurant two stars... just for the prompt seating and food came to our table in decent timing. Other than that.. I'll stick to my favorite place in Haskell, Ok!! We found this place after the place I wanted to try was closed because of labor day weekend. This is a hole in the wall tex mex place. We got free chips and salsa. The chips tasted funny and old taste. Service was okay. Their menu was huge and overwhelming, but I ended up getting the fajitas. The flank steak was nothing like I excepted as it was shriveled up. There was a lot of onions and peppers that came with the meal. Rice tasted really funny and the beans tasted alright however. Food did come out fast as we wanted to get in and out of the place. Service was alright and food prices were really decent and cheap and spent under $25 dollars for the meal. Overall, it does deserve to get the 3 star rating. read more

The customer service here was GREAT! However their Margaritas were made with very subpar mixes, and yet their prices were very above average. I ordered their fajita plate which has various types of meat including ribs. Well, I was very disappointed to put it lightly. No flavor at all in the meat, not even simple salt. I order a pick 3 combination plate and loved every bite! I had a beef taco, beef burrito, and a cheese enchilada topped with white quest. It really hit the spot after a long day of travel and work. Ok we have now made 3 trips to this place since our other fav Mexican place sold out to effing Italian. The queso is some good cheese. The salsa is good too. So one star for queso and one star for salsa. That's where it ends. Other than that, the food is unseasoned. They finally got their liquor license and I consistently order a skinny marg no salt. There is so much lime juice I walk out with blisters in my mouth but it is strong. Ordered flautas tonight thinking simple covered in cheese sauce they can't screw it up. My mistake for asking for one chicken and one beef. Surprise!!!! Both were tilapia. Asked for corn tortillas with my husband's meal due to his wheat allergy and got store bought flour instead. Easy to find, just off Hwy. 69, near Walmart. Recommended to me several times, and just tried it for the first time, and see why. It's menu is complete, they have a full bar, and the food I had was better flavored that any Mexican cuisine in the area, even including Ted's in Tulsa. I had the shredded pork enchilada. The pork was perfectly cooked, the beams were completely pureed, and unusually delicious. Fast service, fully staffed, friendly greeting, seating and wait service.
