A solid authentic Mexican restaurant. The food is good enough, that I would recommend the restaurant to a friend. Clean comfortable attractive interior. Very good service. Large menu. The salsas are decent; order the salsa picante. The Guacamole was delicious, but likely factory made. For me a relleno and a taco. The taco shell was a little over toasted. A minor complaint. My wife had a simple steak burrito, packed end to end with tender flavorful steak. No significant criticisms of either meal. Of the Mexican restaurants I have tried in Pryor, Pueblo Viejo is at the top of my list. Give Pueblo Viejo a try. read more

Not sure why. But they seem to mess up my order every time! Never is cooked or prepped the way I asked. It's simple. You give the option of mixed in the pasta and I add shrimp. Not sure what's hard about that. But they can not seem to get the idea I want mixed and shrimp!! Always charged for shrimp 5-7 bucks every time to ADD SHRIMP! Which sucks. Especially the food is decent. read more

Pueblo Viejo - Do you see chicken or steak. I sure don't!! And if you look real hard you can see 1 of 6 shrimp I got for 7 dollars. - Mexican Near Me - Pryor, Oklahoma

Brought the family here at the lunch time frame on a Sunday .. today.. the parking lot was full at 12:35... which we tried to beat the church rush. We were promptly seated -just us four. It's busy. I'm not used to eating easily dissolved powdery like ground beef. I had ordered their burrito, enchilada plate and it just tasted WIERD! The verde sauce was great, pico de gallo needed less onions and more jalapeño pepper! This made me desire for the SantaFe, New Mexico downtown food they serve... now that's real good spicy eating!!! If you ever go eat near the train station in Santa Fe, NM... you won't ever want anything else. I gave this restaurant two stars... just for the prompt seating and food came to our table in decent timing. Other than that.. I'll stick to my favorite place in Haskell, Ok!! Be sure to tip your table service!! read more

We found this place after the place I wanted to try was closed because of labor day weekend. This is a hole in the wall tex mex place. We got free chips and salsa. The chips tasted funny and old taste. Service was okay. Their menu was huge and overwhelming, but I ended up getting the fajitas. The flank steak was nothing like I excepted as it was shriveled up. There was a lot of onions and peppers that came with the meal. Rice tasted really funny and the beans tasted alright however. Food did come out fast as we wanted to get in and out of the place. Service was alright and food prices were really decent and cheap and spent under $25 dollars for the meal. Overall, it does deserve to get the 3 star rating. read more

Service is great. Food is a hard NO. Ordered a chicken plate, WHERES THE CHICKEN, a small pile of chicken shreds, and majority of the plate was rice veggies and nasty queso. My husband ordered lunch special chimichanga, LIKE WOW, the plate would barely touch the feeling of slightly being content after eating, super small portion. No flavor. Skip this place and drive somewhere further. read more

If you are struggling to eat some Mexican food, then ok stop in and eat here. However if you can wait until you get to another area of Oklahoma and eat it, then I recommend you do that. The customer service here was GREAT! However their Margaritas were made with very subpar mixes, and yet their prices were very above average. I ordered their fajita plate which has various types of meat including ribs. Well, I was very disappointed to put it lightly. No flavor at all in the meat, not even simple salt. I had to ask for several "refills" on the salsa and put their salsa on EVERYTHING including the beans and rice to give it flavor. read more

The server was friendly and fast. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros which were fantastic. Comfortable place to be with nice staff. Cannot understand any of the negative comments on the food. I've been to every state in the US and tried Mexican food in every one. This is easily in the top 10. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in town. Also, better than any other Mexican restaurants in Tulsa. The food is always delicious, flavorful, fresh, and hot. The chip and salsa hit every time. The drinks are large and perfect. Very clean. Also, the staff is so friendly and will always make sure you enjoy your experience. If you want a good evening or lunch this is your spot. read more

I order a pick 3 combination plate and loved every bite! I had a beef taco, beef burrito, and a cheese enchilada topped with white quest. It really hit the spot after a long day of travel and work. The salsa was great! It wasn't bland and it wasn't too hot to enjoy. I would recommend giving it a try. I also ordered a large Dos XX and it was large, indeed. read more

I ordered the fajitas expecting strips of skirt steak but instead I got a sizzling plate of mostly onions and peppers with a sprinkling of ground beef. Also the tortillas tasted like they bought the great value brand next door from Walmart. At least the beans and rice were decent. I guess if you are north of the red river and want some real mexican food you are SOL. read more

There is no words service is great and food is bomb. I do recommend the sea food if your just visiting!

Ok we have now made 3 trips to this place since our other fav Mexican place sold out to effing Italian. The queso is some good cheese. The salsa is good too. So one star for queso and one star for salsa. That's where it ends. Other than that, the food is unseasoned. They finally got their liquor license and I consistently order a skinny marg no salt. There is so much lime juice I walk out with blisters in my mouth but it is strong. Ordered flautas tonight thinking simple covered in cheese sauce they can't screw it up. My mistake for asking for one chicken and one beef. Surprise!!!! Both were tilapia. Asked for corn tortillas with my husband's meal due to his wheat allergy and got store bought flour instead. The queso and booze will be the only thing to bring us back. read more

Easy to find, just off Hwy. 69, near Walmart. Recommended to me several times, and just tried it for the first time, and see why. It's menu is complete, they have a full bar, and the food I had was better flavored that any Mexican cuisine in the area, even including Ted's in Tulsa. I had the shredded pork enchilada. The pork was perfectly cooked, the beams were completely pureed, and unusually delicious. Fast service, fully staffed, friendly greeting, seating and wait service. Also the best prices in this over-priced restaurant area. Can't wait to try it for dinner. read more

By far one of the best Mexican restaurants. We eat here way to much. We have traveled and tried places and they can never compare to this place. read more

Authentic Mexican food--authentic atmosphere. The waiter was very polite and professional. I'm keeping this location in my maps.

I absolutely loved this restaurant when they first opened. So quick, so friendly and so good. I came back two months later and the service was so slow and the food was okay. The very next day I ordered to-go 10 minutes after they opened. The chicken was extremely bland. I'll give them another chance but I just want the service and quality of food I had the first time read more

Upon a suggestion from a friend I visited for the first time this afternoon. Unfortunately I didn't have time to enjoy the atmosphere but my first impression was of a spotlessly clean restaurant, not too formal, but certainly not informal either. I ordered my dinner to go. Once I arrived home, about 10-15 min away, the food was still hot and was delicious. I don't eat out often, but I'll certainly be visiting again. read more
