Nick and his crew at Loose Cannon Customs cannot get any better. I think this is a new record, brought it in on Monday, it was painted and out the door Friday. The shop is extremely clean. Last time I had a vehicle painted here there was a shade tree rat "mechanic" hiding in the corner but he has been chased off and replaced by the most impressive Snap-on toolbox I've ever seen in my life. Everything about the shop is professional. It's super clean and the paint booth is outrageous. The only problem you're going to experience will be all the people asking you where you got it painted. I recently had a motorcycle tank that needed to be body worked and painted. I had great experiences in the past with Loose Cannon Customs when they were on El Cajon BLVD and off Mira Mar Rd so I decided to follow them to Santee and use them again. Nick has painted whole bikes for me in the past and now I was bringing him something small. He was reasonable both then and now which is hard to find when you find a shop of this caliber. I have been a long time customer and will remain one. Nick (the owner) makes sure every job is up to his standards and they do everything under the sun here. Over the years I have had everything from the basic black out of a vehicle with chrome moulding blacked out, emblems blacked out, break calibers painted, wheels powder coated and tail lights and side markers blacked out. I have also had a completely custom stereo installation with custom amp racks, sub box that was built into the rear cargo panel and a beautiful custom wiring job. Nick has always provided nothing less then perfection and the list of things he is capable of doesn't end. Loose Cannon Customs did an amazing job on my 1980 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I was researching for a great Airbrush Artist in the area who could do some custom touches and pinstriping to my car.
