Wow. Great stop on our way back to Houston. We were going to Smitty's on New Year's Day but it was closed. Super nice people. Ordered at the bar. Got the Brock and Margaret. The sausage on the Brock is crazy good!! Very good ingredients on these pizzas!!! Margarita was one of the bests I've had. The crust is thin and crispy but has a nice chew. Seriously sooooooo good! Kids got the yummy Dublin sodas and guys got a couple of the texas craft beers. Love the atomosphere! Thanks for a nice stop Loop! One of the cutest places I've eaten in Lockhart. Very modern and reasonably priced for their fantastic pizza. If you're coming in for something quick at lunch the pizza and a salad is your best bet. Fabulous homemade dressing with the salad. Sometimes they get a little slammed, but it's worth it. You won't find regular coke brands on their machine. They have all the natural sugar sodas. I've been quite pleased with their pepperoni, zedler mill, the Brock, and whatever the one with goat cheese and olive oil is...can't remember the name. I've also had their margarita pizza and loved it. All great and lovely friendly people. Bathroom is a one staller for both men and woman so sometimes you might have to wait to use the facilities. Absolutely delicious!! The staff is very FRIENDLY and caring. The atmosphere is cool, laid back and rustic. we loved it. The building is beautiful and decorated pretty awesome. Have great friends who live in ATX, so we often roll down to Lockhart for some shopping and chill space. Its a great town! We were there a bit late when we found ourselves hungry for something other than Black's. We popped in Loop & Lil's and were not disappointed. We ordered: 1 custom pizza (chicken, mushrooms and spinach), 1 of the Mary Margaret, 1 greek salad, 1 chocolate pecan pie and 1 calzone. WE had enough to feed an army! We have been back many times for the atmosphere, the staff and of course - the pizza! Don't think about it and just go. read more

This brand new addition to Lockhart's food scene is located right on Main St. in a very spacious location. They offer a selection of Dublin Brand Fountain drinks, variety salads, friendly and attentive service, not to mention a nice selection of 16" thin crust pies (either pre designed house pies or build your own) that are every bit as good as HomeSlice Pizza in Austin. The food in the atmosphere at this restaurant are really good and it's tasty and relaxing. The only drawback is that it is pretty expensive and for just a salad tea and a small pizza you're pushing $30 at least so are used to be less expensive. I come to Loop &Lils with my friends and really love this place. Last night I went and observed that the social distancing or mask rules are NOT being followed. One of the waitresses stood with a patron or friend visiting at the end of the bar close to the restroom entrance area visiting, both without masks. The bartender wore a mask but had three customers standing at the bar just inches from each other visiting and drinking beer all without a mask on for most of the time we were there, over an hour one of them left shortly before we left. I also peaked into the kitchen where two people were working both without a mask on their face. I spoke to the waitress that was by the restroom area and said that they were not following the rules and that it wasn't about rules it was more about not spreading a virus. They did put their mask on after I spoke to them but I do not feel it is my job to tell them that they need to be wearing them. I am extremely upset about this and the way Loop &Lils is not following the rules or procedures to remain open but most of all to do their part in stopping the spread of a serious pandemic that we are dealing with and that people are actually dying from. read more

Came in on a cold day for some coffee and ice cream. No coffee. Nothing warm to drink whatsoever. Settled for the tiramisu, butterscotch cupcake and ice cream. The tiramisu was pretty bad. We didn't finish it. Ice cream was plain vanilla so nothing to comment about. The cupcake was pretty good. We decided to order pizza to warm up. You can only order whole pizza not by slice. 2/18/2021 I wrote the below review back in August of last year. Nothing prompts me to sign onto Yelp and share my opinion unless I am truly impressed or truly disgusted. Well, first time impressed...this time disgusted!! My friend and I ordered the calzone. It came as a thick bread crust(Not impressed) and sparse innards(Where's the beef?). What it did have is a runny ricotta filling which was not tasty at all. The calzone is a FAIL. Stick to salads and pizza. So with my five star and one star...Loop and Lil is a THREE rating. 8/13/2020 As you know, I am brutally honest, whether good or bad. And I have to say Loop and Lil's is the BEST pizza in Lockhart, maybe even Austin. As Wendy and I set out to run errands in town, we decided we had better eat before grocery shopping(you know how that can be on an empty stomach). I suggested pizza. We looked at each other without any enthusiasm because we THOUGHT we knew the cookie cutter choices(Pizza Hut and Dominos). I googled pizza and Lockhart and Loop and Lil's came up. I smiled and relayed the information to my "partner in crime". She was game for ANYWHERE but the only 2 choices we knew of. On Main Street in Lockhart among the quaint downtown buildings is the location. The smells upon entering was heavenly. The warmth and sweetness of Ashley was a breath of fresh air as cool rain in the springtime. We built our pizza: 16 inch (great ratio of sauce to cheese, green olives(not offered many places) , mushrooms, pepperoni and roasted garlic. Ashley also brought out fresh oregano, garlic salt, Parmesan cheese and hot pepper flakes. I don't know how to say delicious in many languages so I will just say "The whole experience was worth every penny and more".  We have already forgot the other places in Lockhart that call their tasteless cardboard "pizza". I was in town visiting my family from LA and my mom and I went on a day trip to Lockhart to see the shops and have lunch. We decided on Loop and Lil's and it was the BEST DECISION! Was in town visiting my mom. We wanted a light dinner so we ordered house salads. The salads were absolutely delicious! The cashier was friendly. I will say it is huge and we got half salads. Next time I'm visiting hopefully I have more of an appetite and try the pizza! read more

This is surely one of the best pizza parlors in Lockhart, Texas. I think the only other choices for pizza in metro Lockhart are Domino's and Pizza Hut. But Loop & Lil's are not to be confused with their competition. Their pizzas easily put anything you might get at Domino's or Pizza Hut to shame. We stopped in for a pizza lunch on July 7th. The pizzas were above average and were so enormous that it wasn't just a lunch. We carried away enough pizza for dinner that evening and for breakfast and lunch the next day! So many good thing s about this cute little place that just makes it feel great! Fortunately we went on a Sunday afternoon when it was quite slow but even if it was extremely busy it would still be worth the wait! My boyfriend and I were traveling to Shiner on our way back to Houston and we were quite hungry and I decided we should try out Loop and Lil's pizza and I couldn't have made a better decision. The lovely waitress with the blue eyes (cannot recall her name unfortunately) was such a sweet heart! We ordered Save the Brock and some cheese bread. Our cheese bread got to our table warm and when I tell you the bread was delicious, oh my goodness it was DELICIOUS! It had the right amount of cheese and the bread itself was soft. The pizza was also similar and you are getting your money's worth! Thank you to the wonder chef/chefs who made our wonderful food. This is our Lockhart go to place! Great beers, great pizza, and service. The staff is really friendly. The feel of the restaurant is almost like a hole in the wall in a big city. Its probably the best place to eat in Lockhart (yes, even better than the barbecue places) you also wont leave smelling like smoke and wondering why you feel like someone rubbed brisket grease on your face. I belong to a Combat Veteran group that supports Veterans locally. I live in Lockhart and thought it would be fun to hang in town. 15 of us had wings at Load Off Fanny's. Excellent food and service. We really enjoyed ourselves. Then several of my fellow vets went to Loop & Lil's to have pie for dessert. No one served them for over 45 minutes. In fact, they watched a couple order, eat, and leave before one of my vet friends talked to the server/bartender who works there. He got an attitude with her. My fellow vet friends couldn't believe that he was giving her attitude. My family and I usually go here for our birthday celebrations. We also bring out of town guest there for pizza. We will no longer be frequenting Loop & Lils. This is not the first time we have had very slow service, but we will not deal with attitude as well. read more

Best pizza we've had in a long time! In a town known for BBQ who'd think of gourmet pizza? Apparently LOTS of people judging by how full it was. Awesome to see a kids meal option too and the salad (which my wife and kids rarely like) was inhaled like it was the last supper. Obviously everything here is made fresh, made from scratch and with the highest quality ingredients. The crust, made completely in house, cooks up light and chewy with great texture and flavor. This is my new favorite pizza restaurant. Although I got a sandwich. It was so AMAZINGLY delicious. Super tasty, fresh and loaded. My Italian sub was perfect and half of it filled me up. My husbands pizza was so yummy too. We just moved to Lockhart a few months ago but I know we will be regulars here and take all our visitors and guests there as well. First want to thank the owners for opening up in Lockhart. Now I know the real question is, how is the pizza? It is very very good. A wonderful New York style 16in thin crust with a very flavorful pizza sauce. The toppings had great flavor as well, and the cheese was out of this world with just the right amount of stretch as you pulled the piece away after a bite. Got a calzone to go, and it was so good. The salad was a bit on the lack luster side, could use some more veggies in it. But I didn't go for the salad. The decor was ok but it too can use a little help, but they did just open. So not going to hold that against them. So go and support this new local business if you want a really great pizza!!! read more
