Yeah, that seems like it should be a given since he is a pediatrician, but you would be surprised at some pediatricians we've been to! Anyway, it is easy to make same day emergency appointments. And, for well visits the wait is only a week at most. His nurse is really sweet, and very personable. The emergency after hours call service is quick to respond, as well. We had a poison ivy scare and were contacted within 5 minutes of putting the call in. Dr. Brown is also good about referring out for any specialized needs. The only down side to the office is the wait room is shared with another doctor. The other doctor is a general doctor, so there are usually adults- older adults waiting in the same vicinity as the kids. You can tell some adults get annoyed easily, and there are no toys to play with while waiting. But, overall you don't wait more than 5-10 minutes to go back, so no biggie.

Aces! In addition to us, there was an older gentleman waiting there and was visibly frustrated his appointment wasn't happening either. He was on his phone verifying his appointment was also the same day.

While dealing…read morewith a very challenging medical situation for our oldest child, we previously had left 2 other practices because we felt that they couldn't meet our needs. It's not an exaggeration to say that Staci came through for us in the biggest way when we felt like we were drowning. She has continued to do so for nearly 10 years and for all four of our children. She always gets us in same day if needed, is punctual, spends a lot of time with us, and never makes us feel rushed. Staci responds to messages same day and gets refills in for us as quickly as humanly possible if I ever drop the ball. Staci has been tireless in her efforts to help us find answers to challenging medical issues, and she is always current on the latest research. She is kind and patient with my children, even on their hardest days. If you have a neurodivergent child, I cannot recommend Staci enough. The front office staff (Katelyn and Sara) are wonderful too. They know me and all of my children on a first name basis, and it feels like they bend over backwards to always help me whenever I am in a bind, whether it's trying to fit me into a very full schedule, get a message to Staci between appointments, deal with insurance, you name it. They are welcoming and kind to my children, and always try to help them find a favorite sticker, no matter how long it might take them to decide . On rare occasions when Staci is unavailable, we have seen other practitioners and have always been pleased with their care. The office is clean and warm and friendly, and feels like a comfortable and safe space to my children. My youngest is 2 and he recently started pretending that one of his cars is named Dr Staci. If one of his brothers has an appointment, he always wants to go too. All of my children would agree, Staci and Village Pediatrics feel like a part of our family in the best way possible.

Our teen arrived unwell and we asked if she should wear a mask but were told no (headache, nausea, post-flu), mentioned it repeatedly, but there was no basic empathy or accommodation--no temp check, no relief suggestions, and loud talking continued despite requests for quiet. When our teen felt like vomiting and nearly passing out, the response felt dismissive. The appointment ended abruptly after Staci got upset, stormed out, and left us with no med plan or next steps. Our kid ended up throwing up in the waiting area with no follow-up help or call afterward. We own that our teen was moody (sick + ADHD), but we expected better de-escalation skills, empathy, and flexibility--especially from a specialist in teen ADHD. Lacked strong interpersonal skills and neurodiversity awareness in tough moments. Wouldn't recommend. Look at her google reviews as other families had a similar experience. Kristi the other nurse only works one day a week and the other one left. There's no other "medical" staff so you'll likely be stuck with Staci and no alternatives. We have never seen a single person there in the photo she has of her practice.

I recently moved out of state and was told I'd be able to fill my meds one time while I find a new doctor for my kid. Once I moved though, the pharmacy told me no because the doctor wasn't liscenced here. Okay I will have it sent back to my old pharmacy in silverdale and have a family member mail it to me overnight. That pharmacy was out of stock until the following week. So I ask them to send it to Fred meyer. They end up sending the wrong script and I call to let them know. The nurse said the doctor isn't going to fill another script because he already tried three times and is no longer comfortable. I tried explaining the whole thing but she treated me like an idiot and told me he probably won't send another request because he has so already a few times. I again tried to explain and she interrupted to tell me they already tried sending it. I was so upset and my son is one day away from being out of medication at this point. Thankfully the on call doctor realized their mistake and corrected it. I just couldn't believe how rude and dismissive this nurse was. I would give them 4 stars but the support staff really needs to be worked on.

I really enjoyed the care my children received before the change in management a short while back…read morebut since there has been big changes, I have noticed shift in quality of care. recently my child broke a bone and we needed the care team to coordinate with our medical in a timely fashion so my child could be properly treated by an orthopedic specialist. I was told that it would be handled by the next day but when I was told to expect a call or call them, It was impossible to get through to them for the durability of a week. prolong my child's ability to get his broken bone treated. when I left a voicemail expressing the urgency, I never received a call back nor any response or apology for dropping the ball when a child cared for by them had a broken bone. I eventually felt unsafe with them caring for my children and found a much better primary care physician who handled everything in just a day. which is also a previous physician that worked at stepping stone while under the previous management. if the management was still under the previous owners, the rating would be much higher.

The staff is great and so helpful explaining things to me. They work really well with my baby regardless of how well rested he is. Scheduling and payment with insurance is easy. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE…read more We moved to the area in December, and I was trying to schedule a 12 month for my baby. There was a long wait to get an appointment, and the staff wasn't the most professional or friendly. It was hard to even reach someone. I waited for my appointment, and ended up having to call in to reschedule. When I called to reschedule my upcoming appointment, the receptionist had 'no record' of my appointment. I guess they didn't successfully schedule it or mark it down. This was discouraging and disheartening, but we went ahead and rescheduled and I waited the long wait to the next appointment. When it was almost to my appointment day, the office called me to let me know that I could no longer be a patient there because I was a 'no call, no show.' Without speaking with me, they cancelled the long awaited appointment (at this point it had been almost three months just trying to get in to see Dr. Niran). I called in to try to clear up the misunderstanding. Explaining that I wasn't a no call, no show. Perhaps the office staff didn't see the originally scheduled appointment, but it was somehow successfully scheduled somewhere--and then when I didn't show up for the appointment (they said they didn't even have on their books), I was marked a no call no show? I'm not sure what happened on their end, but I am very responsible and communicative. Whenever I do need to reschedule, I call in advance. The receptionist just went on to lecture me about why the policy is important. I'm like "I agree, but I didn't not call and just not show up and you said I didn't even have an appointment. How could I even be absent for an appointment that, the last time I called in, you told me you didn't have scheduled. They are all over the place over there, and I was losing patience. They said in about a week they could get back with me about if I would be able to be seen as a patient. I told them there really must've been some sort of mistake. I did not earn the 'no call, no show' punishment. They called today saying that we would not be able to be seen because I 'missed an appointment.' There was no understanding or hearing me that it was a clerical error on their office's part and I got falsely accused and kicked out for their mistake. I'm just trying to take care of my daughter. I've already waited three months to see Dr. Niran Al-Agba. Now I guess I have to start from scratch. My child is now going to be due for her 15 month appointment. 've completely missed the milestone 12 month exam. I waited and waited for my Silverdale Pediatrics' appointment, nervous about her going without a check-up for months. Now I'll probably have to wait again to have her seen by another new Doctor elsewhere. They could've at least kicked us out right after the supposed no call no show, rather than making me wait a month just to tell me days before my long-awaited appointment. I waited all that time for nothing. So unfair. This is not right/unethical treatment of a patient who needs care and her mother who is responsible and communicative.

Extremely disappointing experience with Swedish Hospital pediatrics…read more I was billed twice for the same visit, which was a routine infant wellness appointment. One charge was around $320 for the wellness visit and another around $340 labeled as an outpatient visit for the exact same appointment. Previously, I was also charged separately for a 20 minute visit, which is not a short visit, and another longer visit. It felt like I was being billed by the minute without any clear explanation upfront. The breaking point was during a wellness visit when the doctor asked about a prior sinus issue and briefly checked it. That alone triggered a second charge. I was never informed that answering a question during the same appointment would result in additional billing. After multiple calls, they refused to correct it. This feels misleading and unacceptable. Parents should not be penalized for basic care during a scheduled visit. I have since switched providers to a practice that actually prioritizes patients over billing tactics. Take your loved ones somewhere else where they care about providing care more than ripping you off.
