Girls, let me save you a lot of time and trouble, and give you some great info. I have two sisters,…read moreand we are all in our mid-40s. For the last few years, all three of us have dealt with stress incontinence, despite the fact that we are thin, active, healthy, and do our Kegels. My research led me to note that childbirth induced by oxytocin is a large part of the problem -- the stress it creates leads to urine problems later. So we all suffered and walked rather than ran, swam rather than played tennis, and so on. Then one sister got the trans vaginal bladder sling surgery, and she didn't have the problem any more. Then another sister had the procedure. And then I did. Two of us went to Dr. Moeller -- he is an expert. Not only can you get an appointment fairly quickly, he knows what he is doing. He explains the options and you get to choose your strategy. I went with "tried and true" but my sister went with the "less invasive" but newer procedure. We are both happy with our results. Now to compare -- I went to Virginia Mason first, because that's where I usually go. They did all kinds of tests, which I later discovered were NOT all covered by my plan. So I was out of pocket for hundreds of dollars straight out of the gate. Urodynamics -- whatever. Then they signed me up for surgery, and I called to get an estimate. Girls, my insurance covers 85%, not 100%, so that total was important to me. The facility charge was going to be twice what my sister was charged. The procedure was slightly more. So then I checked with UW for an estimate, where the second sister had her procedure done. "We don't give estimates to patients who have insurance," they said. What? I'm buying something without knowing the price? NOT. So I called Dr. Moeller's office even though it is a two-hour drive, and they were helpful, clear, and told me exactly what the charges would be, much lower, for the same procedure. I went to my exam, he said, oh, I can easily help you, and I was given an appointment THE NEXT WEEK. VM had me scheduled out three MONTHS from my exam. Not only were they kind, efficient, and available, the surgery day was actually almost fun, very pleasant, and smooth. I got home and found I needed nothing but Advil for a couple of days, and I took it slow and easy. Three weeks later, we did the post-op and I was cleared to work out and resume sex. Three weeks after that, I was cleared to do anything I want. There is a tiny scar that is hidden, and I ran around the park yesterday with my dog with NO leakage. I wish I had done this years ago! Go see Dr. Moeller girls, he rocks. Don't spend your life on the sidelines as my sisters and I did for so long!

If you have any anxiety, are on any mental health medications or want to feel safe with your doctor…read more pick any of these doctors except the owner of the practice. He is unprofessional, unable to treat patients with kindness or respect and will ridicule you for taking anxiety or depression meds. Avoid at all costs for ur babies well being and your own if you want to deliver safely. If you want to be yelled at he's your guy! Went to the er septic and accused of doing every drug in the book when he couldn't figure out what was wrong, when they all came back clean he was so embarrassed he dropped me as a patient. So if you want a doctor that will follow your entire pregnancy pick a female doctor at this practice

As a 19 yr old in late 80's I had a very disturbing experience with a male gyno. I vowed I would…read morenever have another male gyno. Fast forward to 2025 and I have lichen sclerosis. I had a Dr who diagnosed me in 2021. Then the medical group did away with an OB/GYN specialist. Next I am seen at Naval Hospital ob/GYN a very nice captain there summer of 2024. However I was her last patient prior to her retirement. Then NHB did away with their OB/gyn specialist clinics as well. I was very apprehensive going to see the Dr that I was scheduled to see as he was a male. But beggars can't be choosers in Kitsap county. I had an urgent case and the other clinic didn't have anything until September. Long story short the male Dr I saw was AMAZING!! The staff within the clinic, Poulsbo office, were amazing. I highly recommend Dr Aaron Swenson at the Bond rd Poulsbo Clinic. I also have severe panic/anxiety disorder and the dr and the rest of the staff were so friendly and nice. As well as the other patients in the sitting room.
