I found this place by luck! And it has been the best thing that has happened to me for my eyelashes. A friend of mine told me to see an eyelash technician named Janet. When I first met Janet I was very scared to trust someone again with my lashes. Other studios in town charged me a ton, and did not give me the results that I expected. What I love about Janet is that she responds fast! She always makes time to squeeze me into her schedule. Also, she takes her time to make sure my eyelashes are nice and thick. I showed up for my 1:30 appointment (after much hassle to get there with so much to do right before Thanksgiving). There was a lock on the door and mail spilling out of the door mail slot. I assumed they didn't pay their lease and got the rug pulled out from under them. I called today fully expecting to get a message that they had closed down; instead, a lady answered. When I asked where they were yesterday, her response was "We were understaffed and had to close the doors." She said she called everyone (I didn't get the call). This was my first time getting extensions and I'm glad I went with Longmi Lashes. I called to set an appointment and they had multiple openings during the day (afternoon openings can be slim, set appts early). Janet walked me through the process and made me feel at ease as she handled my lashes. I trusted her recommendation as we discussed shape and length since she's the expert. I've already gotten several compliments on the lashes! I was welcomed right as I stepped through the door and was seated in a room almost immediately. Amy did a great job on the lash extensions! This was my first time getting my eyelashes done and the experience was just very nice and relaxing. My lashes look full but still very natural looking compared to my normal short and stubborn eyelashes. The process was painless. It being my first time I didn't know what to expect, but she and the other workers there made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Found this place on Groupon, I'm from NY so it's quite easy to find an eyelash studio on every corner, so I was a little skeptical as to if this place would be up to par. And yes it was, but it could have been better. Pictures were taken on day two, I got some shedding, but thats somewhat normal. I've been doing my lashes for years so I'm pretty good at taking care of them. I requested Janet, thanks to the other reviews and she was very sweet and professional. She said she would make sure I was satisfied with my lashes before leaving and she did her best. I would have liked for more volume since I did pay extra, but it seemed one eye was fuller than the other and for the interest of time and the next client already waiting, I didn't want to keep her any longer. Ps: If you purchased a Groupon deal apparently that only covers "natural lashes" and if you want more volume, you would have to pay $25 extra. read more

09/06/2018 NEVER will I ever go back to this place or recommend it to anyone. I hate that I have to give this place a star at all. I was so thankful for someone being able to take a last minute appointment at 6pm but I had no idea I would get ripped off or I would have never drove 30 minutes from home. I told the lady Janet that I wanted my lashes full very full corner to corner. She said if I do that it'll take 1 hour and a half and it'll be $120. I also showed her pictures of how I wear my lashes and she told me no problem she can do that or get very close to it. I said are you sure because I do not want to pay $120 if my lashes are not full. Well clearly this lady was/is completely blind because not only did I lay there from 6:22pm to 9:08pm but I looked in the mirror and almost cried a river. I had never in my entire life saw someone do a full set of eyelashes so thin and uneven in my life. They were so thin and had so many spaces in them and I said ma'am this is nothing like what I wanted and it looks like i need a refill which is what i originally was going to get but she said let's start all over. I just could not believe what I was seeing. She then said if you want like the picture it'll be hundreds of dollars and longer time. How? I found this place because I've seen a few women who's eyelashes were very thick and full which is why I wanted to give the place a try. She said my boss would fire me if I didn't do good Lash and I said this is not worth $120 not worth anything. I feel like I slept and let my daughter put lashes on my face. This has to be unacceptable in every way and it's so unfair to a customer to lay down for 3 hours just to get up and see what I had to see. I will post pictures of how i normally always get my lashes when I go somewhere and I will post how she did my lashes last night. This place was awesome until the last time (2 weeks ago) which I was told a new owner bought it. The lashes did look amazing but only for a few days and they raised the prices. Not only did they raise prices, it's no Longer individual lashes. Its clumps. I'll play more elsewhere that lasts longer. I won't be returning. It looks really bad when clumps fall out over individual lashes. read more

Make sure you go to Janet, she's super sweet and takes her time to make sure you look amazing. I can usually go three weeks to a month before getting them redone.
