7/2/2025 Great food and service this time. Steaks were excellent. They were fresh, cooked correctly, and had adequate seasoning. The sides of a Cesar salad and street corn were notable pleasing. We shared the strawberry dessert that like a tres leches. We would definitely get again. The ambiance was ok. I was sat at a booth where there is a six to eight inch rip in the vinyl. It ran the length of the backside of my thigh. I was wearing shorts, so it was quite uncomfortable. The restaurant needs some maintenance. read more

The scrumptious, juicy steaks smothered w/onions, delectable burgers, sauce-topped chicken bites, tasty salmon, sweet and reg potatoes, tender, flavored asparagus, and the selected appetizers (esp the parmesan, cheesy fries) were all prepared w/love and to each person's desire. Grandma handing over menus to us didn't say a word! No greeting no nothing...dropped the menus & ran. Waited for bartender to take our order at the high top table. Ginger ale dropped at table with floaters in the glass. No thanks! Ordered a burger medium rare, came out RAW with cold fries. When I stated it was so cold the cheese on the burger wasn't even melted the waitress stared that's the way they make it because people prefer the cheese not to be melted??? REALLY?? Waitress then was actually shocked we asked to take it off the bill! We didn't eat it & it was NOT cooked - not paying for it! Another place added to list of places we would never go back to! You can't go wrong with this restaurant! We had a party of 7 and they seated us right away. Our waiter was top notch and the food was delicious. I ordered the renegade sirloin 6 oz with a baked potato and their signature mac and cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. What a great experience! Our server Deb was exceptionally good. Like-OUTSTANDING. Made our night. She never rushed us, never seemed annoyed with our multitude of questions. She definitely went above and beyond checking on menu item ingredients for our guest with a nut allergy. Food: Party of 9 guests, so lots of appetizers & entrees Wild West Shrimp appetizer was really good with the hot peppers. Stuffed mushrooms were cheesy good too. Bleu cheese dressing for salad is AWESOME. Has me completely sold on planning a return visit. Con: Steaks and entrees were loaded with SALT. I'm giving up on Longhorn in the Pittsburgh area. Another bad experience at this location. Order the 9 ounce fillet with asparagus and a side salad. The salad was OK, asparagus was cooked to mush, I couldn't even cut them. The steak was supposed to be a fillet, looked and tasted more like a sirloin that had so much MSG on it that it was too salty to eat. read more

Steaks ordered rare and medium rare. Served medium well and well. The chicken and salads were good. Overall 73.19 bill, left 20.00 tip for server. If a "steakhouse" can't get steaks right... Please change name to Texas Salads and Chicken. Or Pennsyltucky Steakhouse "We over cook beef." Spoke to manager paid for everything. Staff shouldn't suffer because someone cannot grill. Yes it's a chain but we love the Washington Longhorn and have never had any issues here. We've ate here before with several large parties, both with reservations and without, and have always had good service. I've been getting takeout here pretty regularly lately because I'm obsessed with their spinach dip! You can also add a 4 oz lobster tail for only about $12-$13 which is a great price for a restaurant, IMO. Like Roadhouse, Longhorn is one of the always-consistent chain restaurants. You might be thinking aren't chain restaurants all supposed to be consistent? Not in Washington, lol- looking at you, TGI Fridays. read more

In Washington for business and stopped off at Longhorn Steakhouse. Great service. Megan J suggested the cheddar stuffed mushroom which were excellent. Ordered the steak and shrimp with loaded baked potato and broccoli. Asked for the broccoli to be more on the crunchy side. Everything came out exactly as ordered. Even after my food was served she would come by every so often to check on me and my food. Something that I find rare these days. Typically once you are served a server may come by once before seeing if you are ready for the bill. I nice music but a little too loud for my taste. Next time I am in Washington will definitely make Longhorns one of my first and last stops to eat at before I leave. read more

Went there today and for the very first time, we had an awful meal. Transaction #2059893085. Ordered 2 Renegade Sirloins with sides. Both were suppose to be "medium". Mine was 8 oz. and hers was a 6 0z. Waitress brought us 2 6 ounce Steaks. Mine was suppose to be 8 ounce. Hers were RARE and when she cut into it, blood went all over her mashed potatoes. Mine was well overcooked. I do like rare steaks, so we switched. Even rare the steak was tough. Hers was dry. Sides were fine , even the mashed potatoes which she salvaged half without the blood. The waitress finally came over when we were half done and I just said things are ok, as it wasn't her fault. On a time schedule, It wasn't worth having them make 2 more steaks. I did tell the waitress the steaks were not right, but she said next time to say something earlier. There will not be a next time. We ate the steaks and paid for the steaks. My husband and I had lunch there recently with another couple. We all enjoyed our meals. My husband and I both had the 7 pepper sirloin steak salad. My steak was cooked perfectly as requested- medium well with a hint of pink. I had a side of seasoned fries, but there really wasn't much seasoning, which was ok with me. My friend's husband would have liked more seasoning on his, however. My husband enjoyed his baked sweet potato with butter and cinnamon. Our friends ordered Parmesan crusted chicken and Longhorn salmon. They were both very pleased. My friend is very fond of the Parmesan crusted chicken and she had plenty to take home. I had a refreshing peach Sangria and my husband had a Moscow mule. Our server, Brigitte, was a gem. Great service, helpful with menu choices, brought us waters and bread and butter shortly after we sat down. She shared that she has been there as a server for seven years. First time here. Me and my other half loved it! I ordered the full rack of ribs, a baked potato and for an extra $1.49 a salad. Wow! Usually places charge like $5 to add on a salad and this thing was in a really nice bowl with high sides and not a tiny plate where everything falls off. The husband got a steak and a baked potato plus a salad. The bread they serve is hot and with a slight crunch. Sooo good! Our waitress was on point. And they have coke zero! Usually we have unsweetened ice tea (both diabetic) but very happy to see coke zero. Our meals were really good and the atmosphere was casual yet romantic. There was tons of flavor and the ribs had fall off the bone meat. Overall I highly recommend this place. And for a steakhouse the prices are usually $80 plus without the tip but our bill was $58. Ate there 3 years ago... ordered a porterhouse, received a T-Bone; the manager actually argued with me, like I don't know the difference. Knowing the laws that the FDA prescribes, I explained to him that in order to be considered a porterhouse, the fillet portion needed to be more than an inch and a quarter wide... and this clearly was not. He threw his hands up in the air and stormed off like a bitch. I vowed to never return. Unfortunately, I needed to dine there tonight due to a birthday event. I noticed that there is no longer a porterhouse on the menu. Maybe others complained and they decided to just take it off. Either way, I ordered the 12 oz ribeye this time, medium rare... it was absolutely horrendous. It was wafer thin and MAYBE 8 oz max. It tasted like fryer oil, like they threw it in the deep fryer for a few minutes... it was grayish-brown on the outside and it was completely raw on the inside. My son had the exact same experience. I just wanted to finish and leave and, AGAIN, never return, but I wanted to at least get my son something edible, for a $400 bill. They replaced his steak with an equally disgusting one, so we wrapped it up for the dog and left. Honestly, the dog wasn't even impressed, and I'm guessing will have the shits soon, like everyone else did. How do you call yourself a "steak house" and serve nasty steaks without grill marks or any indication that they were actually cooks properly and they're 1/4 inch thick and disgusting? FAKE "steak house" Never again... If you want a great steak in Washington Pennsylvania, go to the Union Grill, or even Angelo's, an Italian restaurant, but they have a great New York strip. read more

Called ahead was promised seating for 19. Got there no way it was going to happen. Tried to put our party all over the restaurant. 4 at one table 6 at another. Had no clue when the rest would be seated. Tried to talk to manager , was told by him there was no way they could seat a party of 19 ever. Said he preferred for us to leave. He was told my brother called corporate and no reason for that and to leave the restaurant. We were all from out of town celebrating a 2 year olds birthday . Stopped in for an early dinner around 3pm yesterday. We were seated right away, but curiously they sat the 2 of us at this big table for 6 people. I would have liked something smaller and more quaint for 2 as we were out on a date. Anyway, the server was great and had a girl with her she was training. They were both super attentive. Our salads came out fast with the awesome bread. Everything was so fresh. I ordered a filet and my husband a NY Strip, both were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back soon. The steak was soaked in some kind of watery butter sauce. Literally almost no flavor. A little salt and pepper made it bare able. Haven't even been seated yet and already disappointed. Signed up for the waitlist online it showed a 15-20 minute wait time and it asks you to check in when you arrive. Arrived at restaurant, went inside and while it's already been 15 minutes since we joined the online waitlist, we are told it will be another 15-20 minutes. When asked why, the hostess said when you sign up on line that is one list but when you check in you are then actually put on the correct list. Seriously?! Why bother having the sign up on line if you just got to the bottom of the list when you arrive!!! She said that's how the manager does it. WHAT?! Allow me to add more....when you sign up online you receive a text message that clearly states. "Thanks for joining LongHorn's waitlist. You must check in with the host upon arrival. I'm not too big on chain restaurants, but I have to say that if someone asked me for a place with good selection and reasonable price I would recommend this restaurant. I'm not too impressed with their menu, because it doesn't change often (typical of chain) again, I'm forced to order the same thing every time I come here because their seafood/vegetarian selection is extremely limited. read more

On September 9th 2023 we went to dinner at longhorn. Ended up with a waiter named Luke. He is awesome. The food was great. The refills the attention his manners. The service was just wonderful. Last summer I was in chemo and had had some surgeries. We went for dinner. Probably one of the first times that I had been out of the house. I had no hair and was wearing a ball cap. He was very nice that day too and both times I left a substantial tip. Talk to the manager, and posted a review. Thank you Luke for being such a great waiter. read more

After going to the restaurant we were told that applies to a table available for 6 people, not for 2 people. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table. I ordered the 6 ounce filet and baked potato. Here for a late lunch heading to Burgettstown for a concert tonight. The place wasn't busy. Hostess wasn't at the door for 10 minutes, so we waited until she came. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu, however I wish we would have seen her more frequently. Our salads came out quickly, but our main course took almost an hour. We went there for our anniversary recently. We had a gift card from our medical insurer that we expected to cover more than half the cost. We had used the same gift card earlier this year at the same restaurant. At the end of the meal, the waitress said their system said the card was "inactive" and they wouldn't accept it. I showed her the last Longhorn receipt showing we still had appreciable balance left. She said she could run the history of use and come back to us. She gave me an 800 number and said we could call it. I sat there and called it, and guess what- it's only available between 10am and 4pm, M-F, so if you have a problem like this during dinner or on the weekend, which is when most people go to restaurants, you are SOL. After a long wait, she came back and said she couldnt run the transaction history. I told her I wanted to speak to the manager. A middle aged woman came over the table and said there was nothing she could do. After paying, I went to talk to the younger woman who is apparently the big mgr for the place. This one was obnoxious, making it clear that it was our problem, not hers. A few days later, after emailing complaints to the gift card dept, I get an email that they don't keep any records on these cards, I'd have to contact my medical insurer. She had no coherent answer when I asked her how they could take the gift card a few months ago, but now have no records. She gave me another number to call for "guest relations". Guess what- that one was only open from 10-4 M-F also. I tried multiple times but only got a busy signal. I expect this chain will be out of business soon. read more

I have been to a few other Longhorn steakhouses while traveling for work. They have always been acceptable. I have been to the Washington location twice. On my recent visit, 6:30 on 1/13/19, the floor was filthy but more concerning was the silverware place setting appeared to have not been washed. Every piece of silverware for both of us were dirty, as were the cloth napkins. The food was OK but I probably wont return, if what is in front of me was that dirty I can't help but wonder what the kitchen looked like. read more

Reliably good! I have dined at this location many times and I've never been disappointed. It does get quite busy on the weekends so take advantage of call-ahead and still expect to wait a bit. Service is friendly and consistent. I'm a fan of filets but I actually think the sirloin is the best value. I order my steak as medium and it is always prepared as such (not medium well or well done as other establishments sometimes push it). The sides are fresh and flavorful. You can definitely make it as healthy or indulgent as you like. I like to upgrade to the strawberry pecan salad for one of my sides. This "side" salad is HUGE and amazing! It's pretty healthy, too. I had the ribeye (medium rare) and lobster tail. The steak was cooked just about perfect. It was a bit thin and full of fat, not good marbling. Flavor was good. The lobster tail was kind of tough and the clarified butter was fairly plain. It would be nice to have a flavored butter, such as tarragon or something similar. My boyfriend and I came out for dinner on Saturday the 27th of this month and the service was terribly slow. I also a ordered a salad and told the server I was deathly allergic to tomatoes, I don't blame the sever for this but rather the kitchen. I found a tomatoe at the bottom of my salad. Luckily I saw it when I stirred my salad up before eating it. I silently pushed it to the side bc the staff seemed busy.
