Stopped in on our way back home from a show at Playhouse Square on a Sunday evening and had a great meal.  We were looking to avoid sports bar crowds and and this place has access on and off from route 77. Food was exactly as expected and service was way above average for a chain steak place. The seafood chowder was a pleasant start to our meals - Corn potatoes shrimp and a lovely spice. Steak was tender and cooked to order. Mashed were well seasoned creamy goodness.   The rib meat was literally fall off the bone.  Took some strawberry short cake cake to go. Out helpful server packaged the strawberry and sauce on the side for us to enjoy at home.  This place will be in our "places to eat on the way to/from CLE" list.

The service and food were both great - Drinks - Mango Marg 10/10 HUGE AND STRONG worth the money and tasted GREAT! Margarita Salt Rim - so nice i had it twice 10/10 a good budget beverage Apps- Skip the Tonion- the sauce is a little weird and overall too greasy and not enough flavor Entree- Steaks were perfect- cooked to specifications Mac and Cheese was delicious 10/10 Brussel Sprouts stole the show and were by far the best side. Decor- We loved the western theme and pictures on the wall. Bathrooms were clean- parking lot and side walks were salted.

We visited LongHorn Steakhouse after a long wait and not being seated at Outback across the street. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and given menus. Our waitress took our drink requests, which included a Longhorn beer for me, water for my son, and a Sam Adam's for my wife. Then we were given a warm loaf of bread with butter, which we made disappear. The bread was not very tasty, however. I'll pass on the Longhorn beer next time. Looking at the menu, there isn't a large entree selection. The menu consists of mostly burgers, chicken, steaks, and salads. It is a steakhouse, after all. For dinner, my son ordered a large salad with chicken tenders on it. I requested salmon with a side salad and a sweet potato. My salad was served immediately and it was fresh and very tasty with ranch dressing. My wife said her French onion soup was very good. A little while later, our food arrived. My salmon was served over a bed of tasty rice and had a smoky flavor, which I enjoyed. It was a good portion as well. The service was fast and very friendly. We'll be back.

This place was very good. I have never tried Longhorns before. We were meeting with family we haven't seen in ages and some we haven't met before. Appetizers rolled around the table such as chicken wings (5/5), chili fries (5/5) and egg rolls (4/5). I really enjoyed the appetizers! Very tasty!! Yum! I ordered the sirloin medium well, but it came out well. This was disappointing as it was dry, but I didn't want to cause a scene because I was with family I haven't seen in quite some time. Service was good, albeit slow in pockets. The chocolate cake and strawberry dessert was very good. My fave was the cho Overall good experience.

First time coming to a Longhorn Steakhouse, got to say, alright food! poor pricing. Yeah, you get two sides with your meal but I'm not going to eat all that. Pricing aside, staffing was a bit slow, i saw some employees standing around meanwhile our waiter seemed to be all over the place. Speaking of our waiter, he was pretty chill...no flamboyant personality but no cold or rude attitude which is respectable. Chicken tenders were definitely unique compared to most if not all restaurants I've ever ordered this childish meal from. The house made honey mustard was a hit as well! The fries were flavored like a bland Five Guy's fry which isn't bad I suppose. My friend enjoyed her meal thoroughly as well. Would return.

We have lived in the area for almost 3 yrs and spoke about this Restaurant a few times to visit,…read morefinally pulling the trigger on a chilly Sunday evening. Upon entering for our reserved time, we were taken to our booth, and left with menus. The first clue to our experience was no one asked if we would like our coats checked. Most 'upscale' places would have asked that immediately. I suppose folding our coats and laying them on the bench of the booth would have also triggered this conversation. Nope. An agreeable server greeted us, ask what type of water we preferred, and let us know where we could find their signature cocktails. As we scanned the menu, we noticed the prices were quite high, and assumed the quality would equal the costs. $26.00 for a Tuna Tartare, and $28.00 for the Steak Tartare seem a little above market. Also, they were asking for $4.50 per half shelled Oyster. Again, pretty high for this area. I usually order a half dozen, but I was a semi cautious, having been burned by local restaurants serving very small oysters. This was no different. I ordered 4 Blue Points, ( .99 cents in the grocery) and was shocked to see 2 normal ( again, for this area) and 2 very small oysters. Burned. We also ordered the Tuna Tartare, and again, it was just ok. Uneven chunks of tuna, atop a strange scoop of avocado( which we had to mash ourselves in order to gain a reasonable mouthful. We decided to have the Tableside Caesar Salad, that's always fun. Most places that have this service, will have a dedicated Maître de or Host create this for you~ we had our over worked waitress. It was 1 1/2 hours between being seated and a salad. On a Sunday. And a VERY over rushed waitress. It wasn't pleasant, and we felt bad for her. Needless to say, the dressing was rushed, therefore the proper amount of ingredients were not acceptable. There was a shocking amount of vinegar and Worcestershire, but how could you tell this poor girl you can barely choke it down? A pork Chop was ordered, and the evenings 'special' a New Filet Trio with a 1/2 lb ( just a leg) of steamed crab- deshelled $60 for the trio and $80 for the leg!!! This is where my lesson comes in- ALWAYS ASK MRK prices, at unfamiliar establishments. My bad. We also order off of there side menu, since we were all in by now. We ordered the gloopy mash potatoes, the polenta they had to take off the bill since it was inedible, and the 4 pieces of grilled asparagus that came smothered in parmesan cheese?? (why on earth are your smothering fresh asparagus in shaved cheese??) My poor husband was 3 Barrel aged Old Fashions in ($18.00 per) and I was 2 Paper Planes ( $16.00 per and was meh) by the time was had our waitress box the entire meal, to be tossed out at home. Because we were embarrassed! At one point, a 'hostess' came over and said " sorry to interrupt, but how was everything??" Listen, she could care less how our meal was, because she directly seated herself in the 'private' dining area next to us, with a full compliment of wine bottles behind her and 3 glass walls surrounding her, and began eating her own supper. Closed off to any irritant she may experience. What absolute gall. Thank God the cappuccino machine was broken, it saved us $10.00 for one cup! Meanwhile, don't they require a dress code at his establishment? I won't say more... After paying our $500.00 bill ( for 2 ppl) we unfolded our coats, and proceeded out, with the 'hostess' engaged in what seemed to be a very personal, almost depressive conversation with a patron, and never bothered to excuse herself to send us off with even a 'thanx' ~ Oh KSL- Lesson Learned. And yes, the overworked waitress received a $50.00 tip. She was lovely and my only hope is she finds a better establishment to work in.

We love the contrast of fine dining in the cozy Adirondack style lodge! We sampled the scallop & mushrooms, steam buns and sake mussels, all of them layered with Asian flavors you won't get from most restaurants. Second course of "soup and salad" was anything but ordinary as evidenced from photos. We paired dinner with a couple of bottles of Cab from ZD; an excellent choice with the planned menu. Patrick provided excellent service throughout the 2 hour meal, and soon we were feasting on Branzino, Duck Confit ( not pictured here) & Umi butter noodles. Nice portions with excellent flavors, everyone was impressed and satisfied with their choices. Stuffed but wanting the full experience, we shared some Matcha Cheesecake that was perfect and not too sweet. The best part is the menu as it changes monthly. Focused on local offerings with Asian flare. The setting is reminiscent of dinner club with classy bar and decor. I tried the ribs that seemed to be reheated and we got the smoked chicken that was pretty good. The grilled potatoes were raw inside and the greens were undercooked and lacked any flavor. The service was great, very attentive. The mixed cocktails were excellent. When you think golf course, you have to remember this is Akron and this place is on the edge of a neighborhood. It was nice enough for the enjoyable dinner we had for decent prices. Again the service was on point and the cocktails rocked. Bonus for having vegetarian options. I look forward to returning and enjoying the patio that over looks the golf course. They also set up a few weekly events so be prepared to see an artist preform on a random night.
