I joined in for Nancy's class. She's also the owner. It's located in the corner of a plaza. There's plenty of parking. I joined in the 5:30 class and there was around 7 of us total. We were spread out on the mat and split off into stations for different workouts. Nancy was sweet and informative! She helped me fix my form and also reassured me that I could go at my own pace. She also provided modifications for me. I like the format of the class since it's group training and everyone was sweet and encouraging. They offer free first class. Longevity MVTMT is a GREAT place to work on your health and fitness. This gym has three types of instructor lead classes: Strength & Movement (Weight Training, Cardio/Endurance Programming), Golden Hour, and Kinstretch. The classes are available six days a week with morning and afternoon/evening options. There is also the option of private personal training. I mostly attend the Strength and Movement classes. What's really great is that with Longevity MVMT all the fitness programming is mindfully put together and you are made aware how the programming works to help you become stronger/have better endurance and ultimately live a better healthier life! The head coach/owner, Nancy's programing really stands out above other instructor led classes that I've been to. As part of normal programming, we also do "PR" measurements to track progress and to also help calibrate appropriate levels for lifting! The strength workouts are structured into major lift (Part A), then Part B - associated accessories and then Part C focuses on Core. The workouts are 50 minutes each complete with a dynamic warm up. Monday = Barbell Squat (or squat variation to your fitness/mobility level) Tuesday = "PULL" - pull up variations Wednesday = Barbell Deadlift Thursday = Barbell Chest Press (Bench Press) Friday/Saturday (morning only) - Cardio/Endurance Nancy also really cares about her members and makes the experience fun. While coming into the gym and reading the board with the exercises may be daunting for someone of ANY fitness level, having Nancy work through demonstrations and modifications makes everything possible. This gym is really meant for everyone of all fitness levels and you will get to work towards your goals. What is awesome about Longevity MVMT is that you can go here long term without hurting yourself or getting burnt out. The people who go to the classes are really nice and it is a small community. Hard to believe I've been with Longevity MVMT for more than two years. In that time, the gym continued to grow and evolve: new coaches joined, more morning class times were added, programming continued to rotate, and the sauna was installed. The impact on my personal fitness has been huge. I have gained strength and consistently hit new personal records with each one-rep max cycle. The mobility classes are especially valuable, offering practical exercises that translate directly to everyday life, whether it is carrying heavy grocery bags, improving posture with farmer walks and deadlifts, or lifting my kids with proper form using front squats. Coach Nancy tailors the workouts to each individual's strengths and needs (including modifying as needed and encouraging you to pick up more weight haha). It's been over 2 years & I'm still at it. Must be something in the air, water or something. ;) Jokes aside, Coach Nancy provides the right balance between being supportive & pushing you outside of your comfort zone during the Strength & Mobility and Kinstretch sessions, and the Longevity MVMT community (all walks of life) is great at cheerleading you through the grind. I've hit new personal records and have greater mobility (range of motion) as a result of my fitness journey here, so I'm pretty stoked about that. Who said you get weaker and stiff as you age? The workout space and equipment are super clean because everyone is invested in keeping it spiffy. There's generally good ventilation, so you're hardly ever breathing stale old air & feel stuffy. Oh! I've taken a few classes here through ClassPass and I can't say enough good things about Nancy's gym. Nancy is super helpful and kind. Her classes are small enough that she's able to provide modifications, adjustments, and tips. I've always found being in a traditional gym and exercising with weights to be quite intimidating, but Nancy is so welcoming and patient. Her gym is also very clean. I ended up moving so I haven't been able to return, but Nancy instilled in me confidence that I can, in fact, lift heavy things with proper form and not hurt myself. I found Longevity MVMT by chance. Passed by, saw the sign and looked it up on Yelp. I had been going to PT for about 4 weeks at the time with no relief for my neck and back pain. After my first Kinstretch class, I could actually move my neck. I canceled PT for the week and took another Kinstretch class. I was sold! I had PT close my file after that. Coach Nancy is aware of my issues and is always attentive and helps me modify as needed. Tonight I went to her Strength and Mobility class. I had to modify because I ended up with a headache and my back started hurting. I expected to have a miserable night. Much to my surprise, I feel great! It's been a long time since I've felt this good. I've never looked forward to a workout until now. The classes are fun and the people are great. Coach Nancy is very personable. Her classes are small and she gives everyone one-on-one guidance. You can tell she loves what she does and cares for her clients. Menopause and back and neck issues have kept me down for so long but now I see a light at the end of my tunnel. These classes are truly for all ages and levels. Nancy is an amazing trainer and her gym is clean, spacious, and with excellent gym equipment. I normally go to physical therapy for my back and neck and it wasn't really helping me with the pain/stiffness/soreness. I started going to Nancy's Kinstretch classes and they've been more helpful than PT. Nancy just knows how to work out safely and effectively.
