    Beast Chickz has changed my life. 5 stars are not enough for Cynthia and the program she has built. I used to HATE the gym and was terrified of the weights section. Working with Cynthia has turned that fear around and has made me a more confident gym goer. She is positive, inspirational and is able to customize the group workouts for your individual needs if you have an injury or don't feel comfortable doing an exercise. Overall, Cynthia's program is something I look forward to every day, and I never thought I would say that I loved working out.

    I started my journey with Beast Chickz almost a year ago! I was in one of the worse places in my life mentally, physically and emotionally. I have been searching for awhile to find a place that I could call home. I was over the regular corp gym, didn't like CrossFit and I'm not too much into running so I wanted to find something that wasn't ordinary, had different programs that focused on the woman's body and a community that I could be apart of and accepted. And I always say when the student is ready the teacher shows up and that is exactly what happened. Beast chickz is a combination of strongman, powerlifting, Olympic lifts and bodybuilding with 2 badass coaches that truly care about you and your success as a human being. And will go above and beyond for us :) Especially if you have injuries they are so welcoming and understanding and will do different variations so that you can still do those exercises and not feel left out! Trust, I am recovering from a 10 year ankle injury :) I attend weekly classes but I also do private training with Cynthia and it has honestly been a life saver for many reasons and I will be forever grateful. This is a journey, being healthy is lifestyle, building your body is a lifestyle it takes time and being able to have a solid foundation and community to help you along the way makes a world of difference. If you are looking for something different that provides community and support than Beast chickz is for you!

    I've been a Beast Chick for going on 5 years now! It has been the single best decision I made for myself and my mental health. The amount of growth I've had in these past years is beyond what I ever imagined. Not only have I grown physically but I've become more confident as well. I've also gained some of my closest friends from here which has truly enriched my life. It's very rare and unique to meet a group of women who are all supportive of each other and cheer each other on without any hint of competition or jealously and that's just what we have here. Cynthia, our coach is such an amazing leader, she pushes you to what she knows you can do even when you doubt yourself! She is kind, patient, caring and such a wonderful woman. She will guide you through every movement and help you with your form. She also cares about us as people not just her athletes, she takes time to invest in each and every person that steps though her door. I just can't speak enough about how amazing beast chickz and Cynthia are. Do yourself a favor and come check it out. First class is free!

    I've been coming to beast chickz for 4 years and I'm absolutely thankful I met coach Cynthia! At 27 years old I was looking at having to get back surgery for two bulging discs, but Cynthia worked with me and always revamps workouts to increase strength and support ! I'm beyond blessed I no longer need surgery today and also pain free ! The community of women and support you get during every class is truly life changing ! I've made so many amazing friends !!

There's two restrooms in the back as well as cubbies you can leave your stuff. Most classes I've been to were booty day so it was all of lower body and glutes. For one of the classes, each workout is sectioned out by two sets of 45 seconds with a 15 second break in between each set. Another one was 3 minutes to get through 8 workouts ranging from RDL's, hip thrusts, lunges, Bulgarian squats with 10-30 sets each. There's a ton of equipment spread throughout and when you're done with a set, you'll move forward to the other workouts. I was sweaaaating!! I joined in for their other classes too and each day is a different format. Which is nice since you get to switch it up. Downside would be ... there's a bad mosquito problem here. Almost every time I've been here I've gotten mosquito bites and I always see them flying around. They even fly around the front desk. It sucks but wear some bug spray if you're coming here. Pepe walked around to correct forms during the workouts. This gym definitely got me feeling sore. They have a 21 day promo for $21.

    I just signed up for their 21 day challenge that starts Monday, September 30th for $77…read more They let me sign up early to get used to the training before the program starts for $30. So $107 for 6 weeks. They have an app called Camp onDemand that has everything you need for reaching your fitness goals - nutrition guide, workouts on demand, check ins, messages from a personal trainer checking in on your progress, even blood pressure, Fitbit, Apple Watch, Facebook, instagram etc. It measures your steps as it hooks up to your Health app. It measures sleep. It tracks your sleep. You can post progress photos etc. (see my photos of the app). Super helpful and whoever created it did an amazing job. There are multiple locations in many cities and you can drop in to sister studios for a drop in fee. But your home gym you see the same faces and everyone cheers everyone on. They have weekend meetups at hikes and Spartan race etc. So you are belonging to a community here. People have been helpful in correcting me as I'm a newbie to this type of workout (normally i do yoga or cycling - I love the Peloton). They have 2 cycles bikes here in the back near the bathroom that you can use during open hours. I don't need to use the Peloton app here because they have good workout playlists blasting music as if it were a club. A girl I met here said this place is addicting. It's good to have a healthy addiction that is improving your health and your life and your confidence. There are motivational quotes to help you as you struggle to keep up. I was hurting after a strong leg day and I tried to hop on the treadmill and it wasn't a normal treadmill. I asked the trainer where the easy machines were. She said there weren't any and it's meant to be like that. This place is meant for transformation. There are before and after photos of people's workout journeys. They have contests and keep track of how much weight everyone is losing etc. They have a meal plan service. They sell supplements (they have a supplement of the week). Tony has been great in informing me about the club. Everyone has been super friendly and motivating and they have so much energy and can do things I didn't know I could do. It's great to learn all these new ways to workout and get fit. I'm trying for the 20 lbs in 6 weeks. I'll post an update and let y'all know :) The giant fan on the ceiling is cool too. They have an ice cold water machine (hot water too). Remember to drink your protein shake before a workout. Protein. Hydrate. Collagen for joints. Eat healthy. Bone broth. Vitamins. Nutrients. Limit your processed foods and carbs and fats. They have a scale in the office to weigh yourself on. I'm only on Day 3 so come join me in the next 6 week challenge. They have monthly rates after the challenge of course. Anyways, loud motivating music with great instructors early in the am - workout times are 5am, 6am, 8am and 9am and 5pm, 6pm and 7:25pm. The trainers are hype, the music keeps you moving, and the group energy is chef's kiss. Every day targets something different, so you never get bored (just sore in new places). It's efficient, no BS, and actually fun in a slightly sadistic way. Knocked off one star because I wish there were more flexible times. Bring water. And a will to live.

I want to personally thank my trainer Marilyn for being there to answer any questions I might have, being flexible and being so prompt with returning back messages. She is a great personal trainer that will work with your personal goals. I'm so blessed that our paths crossed and met another wonderful human!
