Let me just start off by saying... DO NOT COME HERE!! I used to be a "regular" here, but I had taken a break.. I came back to get some work done by Lyly(the owner) & she was not happy to see me. As soon as I got there, she had this pissed off face. When she started to cut my nails, she had the nail clipper so far up my nail that she was on my skin & pressed down on a HUGE chunk of my finger. When I told her ouch, she didn't even acknowledge the fact that she got my finger. I then asked to see her ombré colors & she said "We have white to nude, the other colors sometimes are not good." This made me super confused because she said in a text that she can show me the other colors they had... I was super annoyed at this point so I just picked a different color. In the picture attached, you'll see the design I told her to do. I asked for ombré & that clearly isn't ombré... I asked her to do different colors on different nails and she said "I hate you, you're always doing difficult designs." Like whatttt? First off, my "designs" were not difficult at all(it's literally 2 solid colors & 1 failed ombré) & second, you do NOT speak to your customers that way. I have been getting acrylics for years(at other locations). Never have I had such a horrible experience. The owner cut me three times. I understand she has other customers to attend but she shouldn't have rushed. It was so painful. Also, my left hand finger nails are longer than my right hand fingernails. She did not compare the length. I am not the type of person to write bad reviews. I understand people make mistakes but I felt the need to write a review because the owner was very rude. When I paid, I privately spoke to the owner to expréss my concerns. Instead of apologizing, she blamed me for watching Netflix. I expressed my complaints quietly to prevent other customers from hearing but when she blamed cutting me on me she blurted it out loud. It was embarrassing. I have always watched Netflix while getting my nails done. Watching Netflix has never affected the outcome of my nails. I have only gotten my nails done at this salon two times. On both occasions, I had a bad experience. The 1st time, I got a gel manicure. The lady insisted on placing my hands under the UV ray for more than a minute after applying each coat. I knew that was not okay but I was too embarrassed to speak up. Two days after after the manicure, my nails turned yellow. I do not recommend this nail salon. Horrible experience! I received a full set last Thursday night and by that Saturday evening (2days later) my nails were coming off !!! Literally!! 3-4 were lifting on both sides and 2 had completely popped off and had to be glued back on while I was OUT OF TOWN! I arrived back to CARSON Sunday evening and the nail shop was already closed! I came back Monday and the owner told me to come back Tomorrow (Tuesday) to fix my nails! (that's also who did them in the first place, Thursday night) I proceeded to waste more gas and come back Tuesday only to be told I can have $10 back and she'll take the remaining (4-5) nails off after she clearly seen over half my hand was lifted and re-glued! I was told about it by my friend and now i'm telling y'all it's totally worth it. 10/10 would recommend, Lyly and Mary do the best when I go there. Lyly really does such an amazing job when i get acrylics, she never disappoints, i'm always highly satisfied with my gel nails and always complimented on them. And for my feet, Mary be going innnnn, she may take awhile, but she really takes her time and it feels sooo good, plus the gel last for a long time. The wait is not usually long, but if it is, it's forsure worth it. A full set even lasted me 3 weeks at the most before i went in for a fill. Reasonable prices especially for gel and you most definitely get what you payed for. Honestly i could go on and on about this place it's really nice and they just recently upgraded all the salon chairs so there's an even better reason to go there. I'm usually not into leaving reviews but I feel I need to at this point. My mom and I were looking for a new nail shop. Our previous one did really good work but their attitudes weren't the best. We showed up on time to this nail shop for our appointment at 9:30, and when we came in other people walked in with us. The manager LyLye asked who arrived first. I proceeded to let her know we were there for our 9:30 AM appointment. My mom told her that we were new customers and instead of saying nice to meet you or something to that effect she just laughed and said OK. To make a long story short, the work is mediocre and not nearly as good as the last shop we were at. The manager is not very welcoming. Also, the managers response to crtitique is very brash. She was very rough on my nails when she was drilling. She was drilling so hard that my nails were burning. Overall, I understand why they got a lot of bad interviews. The only enthusiasm I saw in the shop happened when she kept talking about it being her anniversary. Also, when she was counting the money. We will not be returning to this shop. I don't understand why these nail shops can't do better when it comes to how they treat their customers. Manicures and pedicures are not cheap and customers still leave tips when we don't have to. My daughter and I are usually always happy after we visit Long Lasting Nails but on our last visit we were both disappointed. We were the first customers there at 10:00 am sharp even before they opened, hoping to beat the rush of customers and so that we can get exemplary service. However, once Lyly and her employees came into the salon it was as if their service was really rushed because several other customers came in shortly after us. Lyly was in charge of doing my daughter's nails and she did a haphazard and quick job because she was rushing along with rushing her other employees who were doing my nails. My daughter told Lyly the color she wanted and the style and Lyly suggested another color instead of taking my daughter's choice. My daughter let her choose because she thought that since she is a nail stylist, she would know what would look best but my daughter was still disappointed with the color and nail color application. She had a gel manicure with fairy dust on top but the job was very sloppy. Rather than using the tools that her other employees use to apply the fairy dust onto the nails, Lyly used her bare fingers. Since she was not using the correct tool, the edges of my daughter's nails were not covered by the fairy dust powder. When my daughter even brought it up that one of the edges of her nails were not covered by the powder, it seemed as if Lyly was angry that she had to redo the nail. The texture of one of her thumb nails was also left rough. Rather than filing it down, Lyly left it rough when we left. We are usually leave the Long Lasting Nails Salon very happy and satisfied, but this time we were disappointed. read more

Very bad work, and customer service! The first time was great, no issues. The second time I had a different lady but she didn't know how to do a simple fill. Left me with thickly applied misshapen nails and refused to fix! I tried to point out how she wasn't filling in my nail all the way, and how thick they were at the base, but she just ignored me. I said to myself, okay fine I'll just make sure the last person does them again, next time. Today around 12pm I walk in, Im the only one there, get seen right away, so I get the first person again, and I was happy because I knew the last job would be fixed this time. I pointed out the thick acrylic was lifting from the last job, so she cut it off, and then I mentioned I had broken a nail but was only left with a crack. She looks at it. No acknowledgement, just continued to work. After the new acrylic was on I said, "Will the acrylic hold my cracked nail?" No acknowledgement. Told me to move to get my pedicure. She came over with a pillow and towel and proceeded to file my nails. When she went to grab a bowl of water for me to wash my hands, I took a quick look at the crack and noticed it wasn't sealed by the acrylic. I asked for glue because I know it's gonna eventually break. She let out the biggest sigh like it was a such a hassle to go get me the glue. When she returned, she said for me not to come back (after I already said this was my last time coming here). I guess she didn't like that I kept calling out the shotty work and asking them to fix little things over and over! My left thumb cuticle was cut with the filing tool and when I said "ouch you're cutting me!" she said, "it's just dead skin!" and started to speak in her native language.. I've had gel done before but not like this, I kept watching her apply the gel directly to my nails with way too many coats leaving the sides exposed. I pointed out that she wasn't covering the entire nail with polish. The gel on my right ring finger started to melt and clump to one side, but when I asked what's happened, she claimed she couldn't see it and blamed me for turning my hand to the side to show her. The lady doing my pedi was fine, but didn't listen to how I wanted my polish done like my hands RED/GOLD/RED/GOLD , she did GOLD/RED/GOLD/RED So I told her I wanted my big toe red, she should've started with red, but to just take it off and make them all gold. She just stared at me and then said "is it okay?" as if to see if I was serious. I said "No, I don't like it, look at my hands, I wanted it like this, take the red off the two nails and make them both gold". When the lady who was doing my nails heard me tell her that, she got upset with me saying that's what I wanted. I said, "look at my nails, why wouldn't I want my toes to match?" I asked why she was treating me this way especially after I already paid my $50. Then she attempted to work with me saying "tell me what you want me to do". I had her fix the two Gold nails on my hands as best she could given the gel was already hardened. After she finished, oil was poured all over my fingers and dripped on my jeans, she just walked away with the towel, so now I have an oil stain!
