The inside was not open, and they had a sign on the door that said " Call this number and we'll deliver it to you ". They wouldn't answer the phone, finally a young lady came out with another order. I asked if I could order some food from her since my semi would not fit they the drive thru. She said yes and took the order, then a few minutes later came out and stated if I wanted to eat, I would have to stand in the drive thru line between the cars to order. My husband and I had fish and fries. The fish was rubbery and soggy. It was taken from under a heat lamp when it was packed. Gross. The fish should be cooked when ordered so that it is crispy. Fries were lukewarm and soggy too. Ketchup dispenser was empty. Soda machine was empty or broken (not sure) and spitting soda when we got our drinks. My kids had KFC and were happy with what they ordered. Cashier Evan was very personable to all who entered and left, and was very patient with many elderly who we saw order. read more

I used to love going to Long John Silvers when I was in Texas, but it's obvious this place doesn't hold itself to the same standards. I got the EXACT same meal I always got in Texas, the portions were substantially smaller, the food was BURNT and they shorted me on my hushpuppies. Not to mention the slow service from an all hispanic service staff who didn't care about anything or anyone from their attitude. It's already overpriced and now you want to short me on what I paid for?!? Plus, when I went in their were pieces of food all over the drink stand, there were piles of food and trash that had just been left in the middle of the floor where someone just stopped cleaning, even though they weren't busy. Disguisting, I hope this racist establishment (didn't see a single caucasian working their either time) looses their food license as they should from what I saw. I tried going back once, just once, for a drink since I was staying nearby. There was NO ONE in line and I waited for 5 minutes just to get a drink with no one saying word one to me. I ended up leaving and going somewhere else... what a joke! Despite my enjoyment from Long Johns and usually KFC, I will not go back to this one ever again (for even just a drink). As it stand right now the McDonalds and KFC/Long Johns in Winnemucca are the 2 worst places to eat to date. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere (ANYWHERE) else. We pulled into Winnemucca at 9:30 pm, did a quick search for restaurants open late. We were actually excited to find a Long John Silver's! But that excitement didn't last. This is some of the worst fast food I've ever had. And the service sucked as well. We ordered at the drive thru because it was close to closing time. Tried to do these zombies a favor by not sitting down. So they return the favor by getting all the orders wrong. Did you just run out of Mac n cheese and decide to just throw the fries in the boxes instead? Is it every day that the majority of people order both mashed potatoes AND French fries? Were you in a 20 minute grace period before closing when you get to be both lazy an ignorant? Hump day was slump day at the KFC/LJS. Rated 2 because the staff were halfway present. Order was incorrect. Asked for green beans and got onion rings... Ok easy mistake. However the onion rings were greasy and burnt like. The food was undercook in some instances and over cooked in others. There was grease of something very slippery on the floor by my table I nearly slipped. We stopped here while on a long multi state family road trip. It was late, the snow was falling hard & we needed something to eat. It was 20 minutes till closing but the assistant manager served us without hesitation. We ordered what we wanted and got it all. I was expecting to have to settle for whatever they had left. We ate there at the restaurant. He sent his staff home and waited for us to finish and made sure we had everything we needed. He was the greatest! The food was just what you would expect and nothing less. Stop here for great service! read more

A combo store that looks it. Typical K.F.C. and L.J.S. food. Parking lot is kind of small. DO NOT try to go through the drive through with a full size pick up. The last turn as you exit the drive through is very tight and you WILL scrape your tires, assuming you do not run up onto the curbing. The entrance is also kind of tricky as there are other business entrances very close. Even if someone is using their blinker you can not tell which business they are headed for so be careful as you pull in and out. read more

Oh, how I love Long John Silvers. This restaurant did not disappoint. We don't have LJS where we live anymore, so I leapt at the chance to eat some of my favorite fast food. The food was hot, good and tasty, and the staff was friendly. We ordered "to go", and the employees made sure we had all the extra condiments we needed. this was the absolute worst meal/service Ive ever had, if i could give negative stars i would give -10. Stopped there with the family on a late night drive to Boise, since very limited choices in this little town, we picked this terrible excuse for food. From the moment i walked in, I knew we made a mistake...the bathroom said it all.. DISGUSTING!! Smelly, water (?) on the floor, trash everywhere, came out feeling dirtier than when I went in. I mention it to the kid at the register and his comment was 'R u ready to order'? The view from the counter was schocking...food, salad, fries covering the fllor in the back room, and a large puddle of 'water'(?) where the staff stood to make the food. Fries had spilled out of the grease and lay all over the counters in the back. Still, we stupidly ordered some kfc...as I went to find a clean table ( no easy feat), I saw food and trash covering the floor, under every table and in the aisle. The trash can by the condiment dispenser was overflowing, water and soda and melting ice on the floor by the soda machine.I cleaned off a table and was surprised by the wife who already had our food..in fact ,they served it before she even left the counter area!! Fast service?? NOOOO!! COLD GREASY OLD FOOD!!! Limp cold fries, cold dead chicken-like substances...I saw the kid from the register come out to fill up the ketchup dispenser, watched him spill it all over the counter, then wipe it up and try to stuff even more trash into the over flowing trash bin..then walk back to the register.
