Where to begin? The Long Dell Inn is an immaculate, B&B that is storybook worthy. Donna and Mark's attention to detail of creature comforts, decor and culinary delights will exceed the expectations of the most discriminating guests. This professional couple, turned innkeepers, wants nothing more than for their guests to enjoy every aspect of their stay. Breakfast features starters of fresh fruit and a homemade sweet treat. Berry bliss was my favorite! The main course of the day may feature Benedict, ricotta lemon pancakes, bacon, quiche, apple mile high French toast, and fresh sausage rubbed with a sweet and savory homemade recipe. If you like tea, request the Paris variety! Just wonderful! Each room is creatively decorated with an eclectic mix Antiques and pops of bold accent colors, tempered by fresh Cape Cod white, which makes each room a restful retreat. (Yes, I saw them all!) Climate control for each room was both quiet and easy to regulate. Air quality was excellent... no musty Cape odors here! The newly furnished mattress made even my husband's temperamental back very happy! Bathrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful amenities like fresh cups, makeup wipes, makeup towels, hair wrap towels and functional plumbing with terrific water pressure. The outside gardens, patio and koi pond are both spacious and meticulously kept. This area is perfect for enjoying outdoor dining or cocktails. The inn is located in an area that lends itself to long walks by the beach and stunning neighborhoods. The only problem that we had with the Long Dell Inn, after an eight night stay, was having to leave it! Donna and Mark are talented, lovely people who are exceptional at what they do! Donna and Marc, and their charming Long Dell Inn was just that - positively charming! I absolutely could not recommend this bed and breakfast more. It's just a short 5 minute drive to neighboring Osterville with lots of shopping and eats, a 2 minute walk from an amazing (and dangerous) ice cream shop and a great halfway point on the Cape that can accommodate any plans in the area! Not to mention you're not caught up in the atrocious hotel prices in the area during the summer season. The rooms were tasteful, clean and cozy. We stayed in the Sweet Magnolia which had a great private deck outside our door, our own bathroom in-unit and a comfy queen-sized bed. The best part, though, were Donna and Marc themselves! Incredibly personable, attentive, engaging and good at what they do! I can't say enough about Marc's delicious food. I hope you like big breakfasts! I know I do. Marc even took our pictures before we headed off to the wedding we were in the Cape for! I felt like I was back at prom. They have a way of making you feel so welcome and like an extended part of their family. Again, I could not recommend the Long Dell Inn enough. Long Dell Inn was the first stop of a two week east coast trip. Wow, what a place to start! Marc was there to greet us as we pulled in and showed us the main house and explained how breakfast, etc works. He gave us each a reusable water bottle which turned out to be the most useful thing we received during that two weeks! Our room, was the upstairs room in the carriage house, spacious enough for three adults. House keeping kept everything clean and fresh. Now, the breakfast Marc cooked and served to us was the best we had ever had in any B&B or Inn! It was a two/three course breakfast, well thought out and executed. Two pics below are from One breakfast. Marc, in fact, inquired before we arrived to see if there were any food allergies or dislikes. Most every day he had a pretty full house with guests all coming together-ish for breakfast and it never seemed like we had to wait long. He spent time chatting plenty with us, even during that time. He was great at restaurant suggestions, and always spot on. They say that staying at a B&B is like going to stay at friends house. This Truly was! Our only disappointment was that his wife, Donna, was out of town. Guess we'll just have to go back! read more

I had the pleasure of staying at the Long Dell Inn B&B, Centerville, MA (an historic Sea Captain's Home) this past weekend. Marc and Donna are wonderful hosts and have a beautiful property. Prior to arriving I received a friendly phone call from Marc inquiring if I had any allergies and any additional needs during my stay. The property is well maintained inside and out. On the outside, the grounds are beautiful and there is a wonderful garden with a waterfall where you can relax and enjoy the incredible flowers and landscaping. The inside of the house is beautifully restored and renovated. The attention to detail is impressive. I loved all of the little touches. My room (with a private bathroom) was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. No detail was forgotten. The homemade 2 course breakfast was also excellent. Everything was made from scratch with local ingredients. The location is also really convenient. You can easily walk to the sites in Centerville, the beach is nearby and it's a quick drive to Hyannis/Osterville. If you are in the area I highly recommend you stay here. Absolutely WONDERFUL stay! We were on the Cape for a wedding, and wanted something other than a hotel. My search led to to the Long Dell Inn as it is close to the wedding venue. Our hosts/innkeepers Marc & Donna are beyond welcoming - from the moment we arrived until we left they were engaging, kind & helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge about the area, especially where to get great food! Our room was adorable - each room is different, with a perfectionists attention to every detail. You can't go wrong with any room in the house! THE BREAKFASTS! That's it. You'll have to book & see for yourself. We had 3 mornings, and 3 delectable, filling, homemade 3 course breakfast. The grounds are lovely - I spent our first morning working from the garden and didn't even realize 3 hours had gone by! Truly, if you're in this area don't hesitate to book. This is one of the best bed and breakfasts we have visited during our four month road trip across the US. Marc and Donna were amazing. They have owned and operated the Long Dell Inn for seven years and their experience and passion is self-evident. Donna is a delightful woman who booked our reservation and made us feel welcome upon our arrival. Marc's breakfast is phenomenal - every day there was fresh fruit, a baked good and a delicious entree (lemon ricotta pancakes with sausage one day, eggs benedict the next). The portions were so large, we only started feeling hungry at dinner time. Both Marc and Donna had great suggestions for where to eat and what to do during our visit to Cape Cod. What a delightful treasure we found on the Cape! Marc and Donna are both very welcoming. They both do everything they can to accommodate your needs. They also give suggestions of things to do around the Cape! The Inn itself is beautifully decorated and the rooms are very clean! There is a wonderful patio with lounging chairs and a waterfall where you can sit and enjoy the sunset. There are also hammocks on the grounds for an even more relaxing experience. Upon waking, you are treated to a gourmet breakfast which I cannot say enough about. Definitely try Marc's homemade breads, they are simply amazing! This place has become our favorite place to stay while at the Cape. Marc and Donna do an amazing job and it's the only place we will choose for future visits! This is as good as it gets. My husband and I recently visited the Long Dell Inn for a much needed weekend getaway...The hosts at this Inn did not disappoint! We were greeted warmly by both of them at the front door welcoming us inside. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed and bedding were exquisite and oh so comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding and everything is made fresh and delicious with something new to enjoy each morning. The owners have done an outstanding job making sure you enjoy your visit with them. The location of this Inn on Cape Cod is convenient to everything you want to experience fully during your visit. Museums, great restaurants, beaches and so much more! Nantucket is just a boat ride away. We loved staying here and look forward to many more visits in the future. It was outstanding! read more

I booked a room at the Long Dell Inn for our first trip to Massachusetts in order to get a more personalized, intimate experience on Cape Cod. The innkeepers, Marc and Donna, were very gracious hosts. I never felt like I was just some guest at a hotel; I really did feel like family! They were quick to offer their help in finding places to eat and attractions without being overbearing and pushy. The breakfast was fantastic and likely the best you'll get anywhere on the Cape. On the days we started out early or even slept in late and missed out on the meal, Marc still made sure we had a slice of cake or bread before we started out on our day. There was plenty of parking that we did not have to pay extra for; the room was well furnished and comfy. There's no question as to where we will stay on our next visit to Cape Cod! read more

I unfortunately had a sad occasion to spend the night in Centerville, but was fortunate to be able to book a stay in a double room at the Long Dell Inn. Best B&B! I was welcomed by the owners Marc and Donna. Made to feel at home immediately! Marc asked me my preference for breakfast and went over the next mornings breakfast! He brought my luggage to my room. Gave me details and also recommended some places for dinner. They also list places on their website! The bed was so comfortable, almost did not want to get up for breakfast! Yummy- pancakes, fruit, juice. They cook to order based upon your preference. I had to leave to attend a service at the church and Marc held my suitcase until I returned. My only regret is that I could not stay longer! I highly recommend the Long Dell Inn and will definitely return! read more

My husband and I traveled with another couple to Cape Cod over Memorial Day weekend and were lucky enough to stay at the Long Dell Inn. The inn is beautifully decorated and immaculate (not a spec dust to be found). The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the Captains Quarters. The room is very large, bed is comfortable and the updated shower is wonderful. Donna and Mark were exceptional hosts. Mark's from scratch breakfast was different everyday. His description of the meal made your mouth water ! We enjoyed freshly baked sweet breads, croissant French toast, eggs Benedict with homemade English toasting bread and lemon ricotta pancakes. Mark and Donna gave us destinations to visit and restaurants to enjoy. I can't say enough good things about our stay. You will not be disappointed. read more

Marcie and I spent our anniversary last week at The Long Dell Inn. Marc Jacobson and his wonderful wife Donna are innkeepers at this lovely Inn at Cape Cod. Yes, It is a quaint Inn with a beautiful garden and koi pond. Yes, it is close to the beach and everything you need. Yes, the place is super clean and all Covid precautions were there to keep guests separated and safe. That is stuff we all need for a good vacation. We stayed two nights at the Long Dell Inn on our way to Maine. We were greeted warmly by innkeepers Marc and Donna when we arrived. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants and even suggested what we might order. We took their suggestions and enjoyed both restaurants and the food. Marc emailed us a day-trip guide to Cape Cod and it was perfect for our free day. The breakfasts, prepared by Marc, were delicious and plentiful. Marc is also a great photographer and took pictures of us, which he emailed to us, in the lovely garden settings on the property, We've stayed at many Inns/B&Bs during our many years of travelling in the US and the Long Dell Inn is one of the best places we've stayed. read more

I've stayed in several B&B inns, Chicago, Austin, Ashville NC, but Long Dell Inn tops them all. Immaculately clean! Beautifully decorated rooms with attention to details including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Marc and Donna are very welcoming hosts and are eager to meet all your needs. Marc takes great pride in the creative delicious full breakfasts he serves and well he should. Very well done from appearance, to taste, and to the amount. He is very accommodating to any dietary concerns or preferences. The inn has off street parking and a lovely large patio with seating for 12 or more next to a babbling waterfall and goldfish pond. We booked our room at The Long Dell for 3 nights while visiting friends who live right down the street. We ended up extending for another night! Marc and Donna were wonderful hosts. Friendly, helpful, and handling all COVID precautions seamlessly. Our room, The Tradewind suite, was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The patio area with tables, chaise lounges, and a relaxing water feature was a great spot to hang out in between all of our activities. Having breakfast ready every morning was a great start to our days and the food was delicious! (We likes everything but the lemon ricotta pancakes were extra good!!). The Long Dell Inn is a classic New England/Cape Cod house with converted carriage house. The rooms are lovely (took the opportunity to have a tour of them all), each with its own theme. I stayed here the first weekend of June, which is peak pollen time (as seen on my car that weekend), but even with that the room was immaculately clean - it felt like walking into an allergy-free zone. Being early June the weather varied from warm one night to cold the next, but the heat /AC alternated very comfortably. The breakfast was wonderful, several homemade courses including fruit, fresh baked goods and egg dishes. Delicious. Mark and Donna were the most congenial hosts. Cheers. read more

My husband and I recently spent three nights at the Long Dell Inn which completely surpassed all our expectations! Donna and Mark are wonderful innkeepers who take great pleasure in providing their guests with outstanding service ('above and beyond') making for a fun and relaxing stay. Our room was attractive, comfortable and filled with thoughtful details. Plenty of information about the area was offered which helped us find good restaurants, hiking paths and nearby beaches.
