The cover band and decorations were impeccable. It does get cramped as the night goes on so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. Our drinks took maybe 10 minutes because there was an issue with one of the ingredients but the bartender gave us complimentary shots to make up for it (totally not needed, but definitely appreciated). Gosh, where do I begin? First off, they make all their alcohol in-house which is just SO COOL. Behind the bar, is a glass wall so you can see all the machinery used to brew it. The owners are extremely passionate about their product and you can taste it in their drinks! Every cocktail is delectable and so thoughtfully made. They also host events every month, all throughout the month! I've been going to trivia and bingo nights and it's so fun! Plus the decor and theme of the whole place is AWESOME. I remember drinking the pear vodka cocktail in 2022 and was so happy to see it on the menu when I returned this year. The vibe is low key, friendly and very comfortable. We snagged some bar space during the event and our bartenders were friendly, welcoming and were very knowledgeable about the different liquors and distillery. Shout out to Tina and all the mixologists. My favorite one is the pear: pear nectar, ginger beer, pea vodka and cinnamon. I also loved the lychee cocktail. If I had ubered, I would have tried more sadly. They don't serve food but you are allowed to order in and there's even a pizza place right across the public entrance. You can park across the street in the municipal lot for free. if I lived closer, I'd be at the Garden State Distillery a lot!

We ordered an Expresso Martini (Vodka) and a Bees Knees Cocktail (Gin). Dario brought our drinks to our table. The cocktails were so yummy! SCD only sells chips and other related snacks. Best to eat before you arrive. Overall, Silk City Distillery has remained consistent since my last visit. Extras: - All alcohol is made at the distillery. - Distillery tours are available by appointment. - SCD has some hilarious Tee Shirts for sale. - 2 Restrooms on the premises. - Adjoining Ghost Hawk Brewery shares a small parking lot with SCD. I love that it's family-owned and all of the ingredients are locally sourced from NJ. There are so many different cocktail options, and some of them were so creative in their presentation. Since I was having a difficult time deciding, I went with the Espresso Martini flight. It came with a Traditional, Pistachio, and Jelly Ring martini. I also ordered a cookie butter martini. My favorite was definitely the creamy pistachio martini. I am so happy to have discovered Jersey Spirits Distilling and can't wait to visit again soon!
