What can I say about this adventure?! The crew (Justin, Manny, and David) was awesome, cool, and easy going which made the trip that much nicer. The music playlist was also bangin! You're in the air for about 10 minutes but the boat ride is about 45 minutes so you get to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere and view of the city from the water! This was mine and my significant others first time parasailing and we absolutely loved it!! Being 800ft in the air was just so peaceful, vibrant, and tranquil getting to see the beautiful city of Long Beach from that high. We were rescheduled twice, once due to engine problems & 2nd time due to low visibility. Checkin person at the Long Beach location, "JACK" is a total jerk! Both times was sitting back on his phone & had horrible customer service. We had appointment @11:00 am and checkin 15-30 minutes prior to apt, Jack said I was about to call you to tell we needed to reschedule. Wish he would of called earlier instead of sitting back on his personal phone! JACK really gives the company a bad name! Took my 8 year old for her birthday. When i first got to the registration no one was there and then 5 minutes later this guy comes out smelling like weed. Unprofessional. He was nice, helped but smelled like some dank weed. On the boat was passengers who barely spoke English, and the staff was rude to them. Talking to them like idiots. Then they asked about weight. But for someone who doesn't weigh themselves, I didn't know exactly how much I weighed and they got all their panties in a bunch and started getting rude with me. While we were going up, my 8 yr old was tense. It's natural, so she was scared stiff as you can say but wanted to do it. The driver yelled at her, telling her to sit down several times and he got mad and yelled you need to listen to me! I get it. But she's a little kid. She's freaking scared though, bro. Most adults freak out about this. Learn to be patient. Then, I saw the staff help put on the harness of another passenger and when he was done he basically pushed her back, shoved, hard onto her seat. If only you would have been there. You would hear the impact. It was not a dip in a wave either. Staff was Unprofessional Staff was rude Staff are not empathetic Staff are not kid friendly (Like come on, don't yell at her) The only thing I can honestly say was a pro vs all these cons, was we didn't get hurt or die. So I was going to leave a 3/4 star review but it didn't seem fair. I was going on my birthday & as I was waiting there they told my husband and I we wouldn't be able to go parasailing because it was too windy, of course I was disappointed but they couldn't change the weather. So we rescheduled for the following weekend & that too got cancelled due to the weather. Third times a charm, well finally on our third attempt we were able to finally do it. It was so much fun & the guys who were on the boat and strapping us in were so funny. The boat ride itself was fun as well. I think if you're local it's definitely worth trying & if you're just passing by on vacation you probably shouldn't as you might have to reschedule due to the weather. read more

1/10 I went to Long Beach Parasail, all to be told that they had cancelled my appointment and moved me earlier without letting me know & that the captain had already boarded. I think this is very unprofessional as me and my friends all called off of work in to go parasailing & on top of that drove over 55 miles in order to get to Long Beach parasail. It was a waste of my time in day and in gas where I could've done something else. By the time I showed up I couldn't even do anything other water activities because everything was booked. I do think there should be more organization in this business as sending out messages to confirm your appointment, do better Long Beach Parasailing. read more

It was terrible and this place is a scam. They are unwilling to give a refund and we rescheduled THREE times trying to make it. On top of that every single time they call with some excuse asking if we can come for a later time. First two times they said they had "battery issues" when really it seemed like they have bad scheduling and all they do it try to make people think they are actually scheduled when really they just disappoint them. They are not considerate of people taking time out of their day to make it and it is extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend. There were others who also had to reschedule multiple times so it is not just me. read more

Omg this experience was EVERYTHING! First let me say, staff was AMAZING! I think his name was David. He answered all my questions, VERY NICE! Had a GREAT VIBE! When we were on the parasail I looked down and waved lol he waved back at us lol simple things let's me know people are cool. The boat ride was really nice. The captain was nice and chill as well. We did the 800 flight. The views were great. As scary as the anticipation was, once you're up there, it's zen! You're up in the air floating above the water! U see the buildings, the islands, the sun lol I smiled the whole time! Also everyone on the boat ride with us was really cool. We all laughed and talked the whole time. We will be back! Purchased parasailing tickets days in advance. The day comes and of course like the instruction says arrive 30 min earlier than the designated time. We leave home one hour early because this is LA! They decide to call me to cancel my appointment one hour before the scheduled boat ride, because the propeller broke since 9am and they had to cancel the remaining of the parasail rides of the day. They had 2 HOURS to contact me in advance about this issue, but instead they waste my time commuting from Van Nuys to Long Beach. Not only I had come off from a 12 hr night work shift and slept one hour, I also wasted 1 hr driving. Sure, this parasail company runs all year long with one working boat only and no back up in case too much algae decides to mess up the propeller. Never again. read more

We felt from the very beginning that we were in good hands so there were no safety concerns or anything of that nature. The captain of the ship and his first mate (those are nautical terms, you guys. I bought my boyfriend and I tickets to go here from Groupon. I had to call a bunch of times cause I had a bunch of questions as I've never been parasailing, and they people at the booth knew all the answers and were kind. The two men on the actual boat seemed kinda frustrated and rushed to get everyone up and going, which I understand they wanted everyone to get their turn to parasail, but it was a little much. Bring cash so you could tip the guys!! They work hard. Very nice and clean boat and equipment! It's a great view of Long Beach. I almost never ever write reviews but this place sucked so bad I just had to so please if you decide to go parasailing DONT come to this location. You can read the full story below or just read this: SHORT STORY, they're UNPROFESSIONAL ,UNSAFE , LATE, and LIARS. LONG STORY, I don't know if the others ones are better but just AVOID THIS LOCATION. The service was absolutely horrible. I bought tickets to surprise my daughter and take her parasailing for her birthday before I have to hit my night shift at work. Me assuming they're courteous and professional they would run on scheduled time like any good buisness would. But nope, we showed up 30 minutes early like they asked and waited. Then when our time came to board waited another 45 min while the guy on the boat told us I'd be a couple minutes while they do "maintenance". Then finally he tells us they're having a problem with the winch and have been having problems with it for the last 3 days so they have to cancel us. So you mean to tell me you've had the last 3 days to stop and fix the problem but instead you took passengers on flights and waited until the absolute last minute to stop and address the problem. Also why would you lie and say you're doing "maintenance" when you're trying to fix a problem just be honest that's something customers would appreciate especially when they're on a time crunch because professional people have schedules to adhere to. So now I get to head back home to drop off my wife and daughter apologizing to them because of Long Beach Parasailing's horrible service after not getting to enjoy the surprise I had with my daughter for her birthday and head to work pissed tf off.
