It's not far down to paradise, well at least not for me. If the wind is right you can sail away and find tranquility. It's a great adventurous experience just you wait and see, believe me. I'm gonna come out and say it, I'm afraid of heights but I do these activities to conquer that fear. So for me it was an amazing experience. Booking is easy and you can choose a picture option if you like. The crew members are chill and they give clear cut instructions on what to expect. Their playlist adds to the experience making it fun and a lot more enjoyable, if you like Reggae. I'm inserting this emoji =P. LoL. My only problem was the picture package and I didn't feel it was worth the price. If I were to do it again I would definitely bring another person to take video and pictures. It's also kinda hard to download the pictures if you don't have a Zip Drive? I thought those did not exist anymore. And that's my take on this memorable adventure, Peace. read more

No cancellation email, no call, no warning whatsoever. This was not just an inconvenience--it was a complete waste of time and a huge disappointment on what was supposed to be a special day. Basic communication is the bare minimum for any business, and this company failed entirely in that regard. I booked this experience for my mother's 69th birthday. We all had a wonderful time. Nick and Zane were awesome captains. This was so much fun. I did this back in 2018 with friends and now I took my family. It's $95 per person and $40 if you just want to ride on the boat and watch everybody. I'm glad they have this option but it is not always guaranteed. They had a little delay so our start time got pushed back, but the captains were very nice and explained everything well. They have waivers to sign and the entire ship is about one hour. You go with about 4 to 5 other groups so it's fun to encourage others and see people go. The parking is pretty simple as well, but they don't do validation. The earlier you get here the more you will avoid the rush and everyone else being there, especially on the weekend. But it is very fun and I highly recommend! It's very safe and sturdy. read more

The absolute nastiest customer service agent answers the phone when you try to book. I tried to ask a simple question regarding a Groupon booking and he went off on me saying my friend just asked the same question. My friend that I am booking with doesn't even know that we were going because I was going to surprise her but now that plan is canceled all because the person answering the phone does not know how to respectfully do their job. If your only job is customer service then be nice, answer the phone and answer your customers questions. That's literally what you are getting paid for. If you're getting multiple calls with the same question from different people then that means you're instructions are not clear! If you can't do that then quit!!! I highly recommend for the owners to fire the man answering the phone and hire someone wanting to do their job. I will no longer be parasailing and the other party he clearly gave attitude will likely also not botching booking because of really bad customer service. That's at least 2 different parties not booking in less than 5 mins who know what else he's doing throughout the rest of the day. read more

Did this for our anniversary and it was so much fun. The staff was really friendly and the music they had playing was really setting up the mood, it was chill and fun. There were 2 or 3 other groupd that rode the boat with us and they were fun too. It was a sunny day so it was perfect. You can also tip when you are done and heading out the boat. Stole $150 of my sisters money.  She purchased me a sea lion tour through groupon. She booked the date for redeeming the groupon specifically with the Long Beach branch of this company, after speaking to someone on their direct phone line, for a tour to see the sea lions at Catalina. Because she is not from Long Beach she did not realize that you can't get to Catalina and back in an hour and a half Basically, this tour she booked is a ghost tour, because not only is it impossible to get to Catalina Island and back again in an hour and a half, this branch of the company is not legally allowed to give tours as they do not have the proper licensing nor insurance to do that in the Port of Long Beach. Now, these tours ARE properly licensed, insured, and approved for the island of Catalina location, another branch of this company. But NOT in Long Beach.  I realized the amount of time to go to the location we were being promised to be taken to was not the correct amount of time, and I realized that this company was not properly licensed nor insured to offer these types of tours in the city of Long Beach, the day before we were supposed to go on the tour so I attempted to contact the Long Beach Branch directly during business hours. I tried for over an hour to reach them over the phone and nobody would answer. I texted, no one has texted back  When they wouldn't answer the phone I drove down during their business hours and no one was around. I waited for ten minutes- no one.  I confirmed with the only boat operator on that section of the harbor, Spirit, that Long Beach Parasailing branch offers no boat tours at all- and they only do parasailing.  Again, you also cannot get to the sea lions and back again in an hour and a half, there is no way to do this. It looks like they are doing this grift specifically to scam money from Groupon customers by offering a service they do not give and refusing to refund when they can't do the tour.    Shame on them! read more

I recommend paying for the photos instead. 1st, you get pictures of yourself flying. Second your phone is a lot more expensive than the photos, if you drop it in the ocean. The crew were great. It was originally scheduled on Oct. 13th, however due to weather conditions, I received a call that I have to resched and did it the day after- Oct 14th! David was really courteous and friendly. Also, we got the package with picture ($40) and he was the one who took all our pics. It was worth it! Al (the boat driver) was also friendly. Although I received confirmation of my online booking, the night before the Newport Beach operator told me that he knew this location was closed and that I could join him instead at his location. We drove 6 hours from Vegas leaving super early to get there on time, then 20 minutes before we arrived received a text canceling the appointment due to wind, even though it wasnt windy. If there's anything you should do this summer, it's parasailing in Long Beach! It's so much fun and such a great thrill to be 800 feet in the air! The guys who get you set up are super laidback and chill, and know what they're doing to ensure you have a good time while being safe. Came in a group of 7, and we were able to split into two groups of two, and one group of three. So definitely bring all your friends and get an awesome view of Long Beach 800 feet in the air!! It's $95 a person, and you can add the photo package to never forget such a memorable experience. Haven't gone up yet. I had a 10:00 am appointment I made on line the day before. I got a text that they won't take a group out until 11:00. I arrived and was told they are waiting on the boat captain. It is 11:05 and he still isn't here Captain showed up finally. We walked to the boat with eight of us at 11:15. Road the boat out of the marina to the area where he could take us up near Bluff Beach. Had a nice ride out toward the Oil Well Islands that lasted about 8 minutes. The height was less than I hoped but high enough for nice views of the area. So my 10 am - 10 minute ride started after 11 and by the time I got back and got the pictures it was over 2 hours ending after 1:00 pm. Plan accordingly. The ride was good. The business practice not so much as they take online reservations for set times then change the time and run late. Ended up impacting my schedule for the other things I had scheduled to do but was two hours late. read more

Trip was roughly 1 hour, arrive early due to parking lot being full. We had a small diversion on our ride because Our hosts helped a family that was in need due to a flipped jetski. This place gave me an incredible first experience parasailing. While you're up in the air you almost feel like you're flying, but it's much more calm and serene than I might have imagined previously. You get a great view looking out over the water and back at the city. While the ride is only eight minutes of air time, it's plenty of time to enjoy the experience. When we went there were three other sets of riders, and we ended up spending about an hour out on the water. The crew is awesome, very professional and make you feel like you're in good hands. We booked a reservation online for Saturday and used a Groupon. We also got the photo package ($40) and they give you about 70 photos from various points in the flight (taken with a high quality camera). Parking: They tell you to get there half an hour early, and it can take a good 15-20 minutes I'm circling the parking lot to find a spot if you come on the weekend. Random thought: while it says 800 foot flight, I don't think you're actually 800 feet above water, but if the rope is 800 feet and the rope is at about a 30 degree angle... how high are you off the water actually? read more

I would give it more stars if only they have told us in advance that they were going to cancel our 6 pm appointment. My friend bought the tickets on Groupon and received an email confirmation and text message letting us know to show up 30 minutes before. We arrived at 5:20 and it was closed so we waited for another 20 minutes along with another group and still no one came. We decided to call but no one answered. We then called different locations, but no one answered since we were very confused. We were also waiting with another group of people. By around 6:15 finally an employee from this location were we had our appointment answered the phone and told us that the appointments for 5, 6 and 7PM were canceled for reasonable reasons such as the wind. The only issue was that they never sent any email nor spam email or even a text or call to let us know that it's been canceled and we need to reschedule. The man on the phone got very rude after we mentioned that we also had another group waiting with us, and then he hanged up the phone. This was very frustrating due to how no one told us it was canceled after driving 40 minutes to get here, then wait nearly an hour only for it to be canceled. read more
