We had an awesome time parasailing in Catalina. Would definitely donut again. We were a party of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids. The driver even had us take a little dip in the ocean (toes only). Such an amazing experience! This was my first time parasailing so I didn't have any expectations. I ordered the early bird deal which was $50 for the first time slot of the day at 800'. The boat ride was a bit bumpy, but as someone who gets nauseous easily, I didn't feel anything. My friend and I were the last ones of the group to go up and the staff was great at helping us out. You're able to request for dipping your toes in the water, which we ended up doing, and it was a great experience! If you want to dip your feet in the water, be sure to mention to them. It's optional, dipping or no dipping. I chose not to dip. In hindsight, probably would have enjoyed it even more if I were to dip lol. Note: -You can save $30. Ask your fellow parasailers to take your photos and offer to do the same for them. Great trade off. -For those who are from the cruise, booking via the ship staff is much more expensive. Buy your parasailing excursion through this place, only $59/person. Plus birthday person (free), inquire within. -Can be a little cold (depending on the weather and the time of day), be sure to dress accordingly. I had never gone parasailing before, this was my first time and let me tell you...It was amazing !!!! The guys on the boat do checks before going into the open water which I loved & they let you know some things that could happen if the boat was to multifunction. They also make sure you are prepared before going up in the parachute and they ask you if you would like to dip your toes in the water. There's also an option where you could pay 30 dollars extra to get professional photos taken and I think it's super worth it ! The crew willingly answered all questions and made sure we felt comfortable. Our boat ride took us in the path of several schools of dolphins, which was an extra added bonus to our adventure. Some of us were able to see them while we were in the sky. You can tell this company really loves what they do. I highly recommend this parasail company! They are easy, simple and so friendly to deal with when booking your activity. My seven year old said it was his favorite thing on Catalina! You can also be an observer if you are not going to go up in the sky if they have room on the boat, I believe it was $26.00, good deal for a 45-60 min boat ride! We booked a late afternoon time slot because the fog/gloom tends to burn off after 3pm giving you blue skies! They are very safe and efficient, once you get on. They have an option where you can get dipped in the water, it's gentle and minimal wetness but fun! Also the option of not getting wet at all and dry landing. If you want professional photos, they have a package for that as well which would be worth it! Definitely call this place up and book your parasailing adventure! read more

There so much on the island but so much more in the sea around the island. We did the Dolphin/seal island tour and the Nighttime Fly fish tour. Definite must dos. Our tour guide, John, knew where all the sea life were and knew so much about the Eco systems of the island. We didn't see any Dolphins but enjoyed all the seals, leopard sharks and fish. Of course the boat ride was so refreshing and felt so private. There were only 5 of us on the tour. Capacity is 6. We did the Night time Fly fish tour. On a larger speed boat but we didn't go fast at all. We saw so many flying fish. We did also see the seals going after them and eating them. What a sight to see. The seals were so smart. They followed our boat because the light attracted the flying fish. Some of the fish looked like small airplanes on the water. If you're spending a few days on the island, have to try this tour. Good: Parasailing is always fun, being up that high over the water. Bad: I was expecting at least 1hr total and the website even said anywhere between 1hr and 1hr:15min. I understand that maybe it could be that long if there are a lot of people on the boat, but our trip only had 3 groups. I was expecting at least 10 min up in the air per group, but we were only up there for 5 min. We left the dock at 2:45 and returned by 3:30. That was only 45min trip. The least each group could have had was a 10 min flight, since there weren't that many people on the boat. I felt like the captains were rushing through everything. Honestly, not really worth the price per person for a rushed 5 min flight. I've been parasailing once before with another company years back and truly they were the best experience. Here's what they did, in case you guys wanna take some notes, so people can come back to you: flights min 7 min, 10 if it's a small group. Music on the boat for those waiting to fly (keep the vibes up). Instead of just dipping toe tips, dip their butts. read more

I took my granddaughter to Catalina this pass weekend for her Birthday, and we went parasailing at Catalina Xtreme Parasail. The two people working the boat were amazing! The whole experience was amazing. The only thing I was not happy about was that I had paid for them to take pictures and when they tried downloading them to my phone, they had issues. It took them several tries to get them downloaded and at the end of the trip I was told they were on my phone and where to find them. After we left I tried to view them and did not find them anywhere on my phone! I stopped by there office to let them no and to see if they could try downloading them again. I was told that once they down load them, they erase them from their camera. She said she would check with them at the end of the day, but they had indeed been deleted! I was crushed! We had no pictures to share of our experience. What happened to the days where they gave you a thumb drive or a site you could get them from?! read more
