Thank you to all the bus drivers for getting us to where we need to go in a timely manner. A…read morespecial shout out to Mr Art , LBT 131, for looking out & for being professional at all times.

I have primarily good experiences on this bus with the bus drivers, there is only one individual I…read morehave had issues with. I keep my small dog in a small stroller that doesn't block the isles but it doubles as a carrier you can disconnect from the wheels, so it latches securely along with having him leashed into the carrier and he is also well behaved. One particular bus driver who drives the 22 bus that picks up at H Shelter in Long Beach at 1:20 pm is the only one who has an issue with it, he is a older Hispanic gentleman. The first time I crossed paths with him I get because I did not have a carrier, bus drivers sometimes make exceptions if they're small dogs. So I thought it was okay because I didn't know the policy at the time. He didn't let me on, okay understandable. The second time today I brought my cage stroller that I bought for the bus since it's the rules and I don't have a car to get to my second job, the carrier is allowed, it was stated on the website I made sure it was, and I have gone on the bus several times with it. You can either keep the latch up or down. He immediately went on the defensive about it when he saw me before I even said anything this time and I assume he remembered me from last time when I was frustrated because I was trying to drop my dog off and get to work which was maybe about two months ago. Okay I get it, I was frustrated last time and you remember the interaction. I tried to explain that it was allowed and show I was about to latch it down into a carrier, but he cut me off raising his voice saying let him explain and that I'm now allowed on there with him. I wasn't even talking when I was trying to show him that it is indeed a carrier and told him previously it was allowed and that I've been on the bus several times with it but he didn't care and said "want me to get my supervisor on the phone?" At that point I was just like you know what nevermind I don't care anymore I can't get on anyways, so I was walking away and he tried to get me to stop and told me to hold up but I said no because again I have to get to work and he had a schedule to stick to anyways. Still tried to continue arguing with me so I walked off and got on the phone with my mom. I just will be avoiding that bus here forth whether he's driving or not just in case and try to work with my first job's schedule to get off early enough for another bus to get to my second job and drop of my dog when I work it on the weekends. I definitely don't suggest riding it if you have a pet and need to get them somewhere.
