Took it home, put the spare on, drove the tire to Mo @ Kings Customs. I asked if it can be safely repaired. They said by either methos, patch or plug. Plug is more labor, but I asked for a patch. Less than 20 minutes I was back on the road, tire repaired, good for another 50k miles. I told my son long ago to always trust Kings Customs, never bother with Discount Tire. I had to reach out to get any sort of update because they didn't. Communication was through text and wasn't very good. Texts read like they were from a child. Didn't receive a text response to my last text and was told he didn't get it (how convenient!). They never would admit that they couldn't find the problem and never did tell me to come get my car, I asked 3 separate times. Called the Firestone Corporate Customer Service toll free number and was told that an area manager would reach out to me within 2 days. It's been 4 days and still no call. Store manager was argumentative and unprofessional to say the least when I did pick up my car. Several times he acted like we were a bother and laughed about us waiting for the area manager to call us (I guess he knew that wouldn't happen). I requested copies of the diagnostic reports and he didn't have them ready when I arrived. He just argued about what they did to try and figure out what was wrong with my car. I will never take my car back there, even for the simplest of services.
