They were able to remove my old unit and install the new one in a day. The new unit has been EXCELLENT this long, hot, summer---quiet, efficient and economical to operate. The technicians they sent out were friendly and knowledgeable and kept me informed all during the process. I really can't say enough good about this local, small business. They insured alley was not blocked. Everyone on crew was very respectful of us , the dogs and our property. Cleaned up each day and took construction trash with them. Installation was very professional and no damaged caused on removal of attic equipment. Jordan took time to explain installation and set up the wifi thermostats and demonstrated how they work. They added an addition outlet and increased the size of two return lines for better airflow. Outdoor units were spaced properly for efficient air exchange. Invoice was exactly as bid. Very happy with installation, the crew doing the work and Jordan's leadership of the installation.

On several occasions I contacted them to request a Nest thermostat during initial install and now a replacement filter for the humidifier. On all occasions I've been told by a female(s) that Scott will call me back but that never happens. I ended up buying my own Nest thermostat and delivered it to them only to be told by Scott that I should return it and he would install a Nest Pro. If my calls had been returned I wouldn't have had to make trips back and forth to Lowes for the thermostat. I also experienced a problem with the fresh air intake vent on the system. After contacting them several times, I was told "they are discussing the issue". Eventually I had to fix the problem myself. Now I've had to order filters online because my call to request a replacement filter was never returned. Several of my friends and co workers are having new construction done by the same builder and have had the same experience with Air Masters. I'm now using another HVAC installer for 2 systems in my barn because I've lost all confidence in Air Masters. Since they can't return calls to their customers, correct installation issues and provide support, they've lost my business. I cannot thank Larry's Heating and Air enough. My heater was not working during the first cold…read morespell of the year. It would come on but then it would shut off after a few seconds. My husband was out of town. Originally I had called another business and I was told I needed a new heating/AC system which would cost around $6,000. They said the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger that was leaking carbon monoxide and could be deadly. Another option I was given was to spend $1,000 for a few repairs but that would only buy me another year then I would need to replace the system. The price of this false information was $69. I called Larry's for a quote for a new system. They showed up on time and just went to my furnace and took the front of it off and began checking it over. He sprayed some pressurized air inside and then turned the heater back on. Voila! It was working perfectly again. The only thing that was wrong with it was a dirty heat sensor. He said that the heat sensor is a safety mechanism to turn off the heater if it doesn't sense the fire. Since mine was dirty it wasn't sensing the heat and therefore just shutting off the furnace after a few seconds. He explained to me that when the heat exchanger is cracked the fire will be shooting backwards at me-it wasn't. I really appreciate that he took the time to educate me, a woman who didn't know any better, on what to look for so I wouldn't be conned again. They did not charge me a dime either! After Larry's fixed my heater I asked my father-in-law who is HVAC certified to come check it out and he verified what I was told by Larry's. This is definitely an honest company. When we did a google search for Hereford this company showed up as if they were local. We had a overpowering sewer stench in the building only that added to our sense of urgency. In my desperation to take care of my employees, I unknowingly booked Scottco while my wife had already booked another company. As a small company with only two employees, the $420 trip charge was quite devastating for us. I believe in compensating others for their time and would never want to take advantage of anyone. I understand that mistakes happen, and I am willing to pay a fair amount for the services rendered. However, I was taken aback when I was told that the original charge was almost $600 as if I needed to be happy with the current. They couldn't even check it? They couldn't even respond that they'd follow up with the property management company? They simply said it wasn't their job. You'd think that they would at least have some protocol for such things (e.g., a list of phone numbers to call in this case)? No, "It's not our job," is their answer. Hmmmm.... Please, call a spade a spade: All State Parking Enforcement and "sitting in a car texting and talking to my friends while on duty" Service should be the name of this company.
