Because my water comes from a well I actually needed the transfer switch so if power goes out I would at least have water. Anyone with a water well should really consider this. I called Mayan AC & Electric and set up an appointment to have them come to my house and give me a no cost assessment of what would work best for what I needed and stay in my budget. On the day of the appointment the company owner, Orlin Beteta, came to my house and did a very thorough inspection based on what I was asking for; Orlin's honesty and professionalism was spot on. Because I did not have the generator at the time Orlin recommended that we set up the install appointment for once my generator was delivered within the next week. A lot of other companies would have probably taken my money and installed the transfer switch kit but Orlin wanted to make sure everything worked perfectly. On the day of the transfer switch kit install Orlin had two of his employees come out to perform the install. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Once the kit was installed they explained to me, while we tested my generator, how to safely transfer from city to generator power and back. While my house was running on generator power his employees did safety and efficiency assessments. Orlin Beteta, his company and employees are all top notch!
