YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. I was never told that these didn't have any hardware, and I was unaware that you have to pull to lock / unlock the blind. This makes it extremely hard to line up the slats of the blinds... I'm sitting here spending all this time trying to tug and line them up. On top of this, the lengths of the blinds are wrong so to completely close them so people can't see in, they have to extend passed the bottom of our window onto the window seal where they flop outwards which separated the blind. Last but not least, the blinds don't fully stretch across my windows. Half the blind is against the window while the other half pops outwards. I'm so furious and upset about this! I wish I could get my money back. This has been the worst experience and if you are reading my review I suggest you stay far away from this company! The service, installation, and quality of product is not good!

She listened to what we wanted and tailored options to what we said our goals were. She listened to our price range and gave us good options without breaking the bank. Most of all, she has very good taste and helped us choose treatments that make the house look great. Communication after the initial sale was excellent. We were informed when measurements would occur and when our treatments were shipped. Vincent arrived early for installation and was extremely efficient in getting the treatments installed in a short period of time. He was very friendly yet professional and knowledgeable. Overall, this is a first class operation with exceptional service. We love our new treatments. We probably need to get some for a couple of other windows so we will return to Stoneside without a doubt.

We had regular faux wood blinds on both windows prior, but were never fully satisfied with them. They didn't cover the full window, but they were the best we could afford at the time. After perusing reviews on Yelp we decided to give JR a call and he came out to the house. We were a little surprised that he only had one sample to show us. He only uses the Norman Blinds, and they don't have the traditional vertical bar that enables opening and closing. We really liked JR, though, and decided to go with the Norman Blinds, even though they were a little different from what we had been expecting. One cool thing about the Normans is that you can close the bottom 1/3rd portion of the blinds while leaving the top open, which is nice when you want some light but don't want people outside to see in. We also have two very skinny windows which border the sides of our front door. Very creepy to have people look in the windows at you (and they do!). We ended up ordering shutters for those as well. It took a couple months for the blinds to come in, but the guys who came to install them did a fantastic job. They even wore foot booties so as not to dirty my white carpet. They were very nice and respectful. Once up, the shutters looked awesome. We love them. I love being able to close them tightly at night and love how dark the bedroom stays in the mornings. It actually is much nicer *not* having a vertical bar running up the blinds that obstructs our view. I plan to eventually have some of our other windows done as well, as soon as it's in the budget. Our experience with JR and Classic Shutters was a very good one.
