I needed Radon Mitigation with a basement test score of 3.1. I searched online for a general…read morecontractor and found "The Property Medics" owner, Roger Empey. He came to my home within two days to do a detailed estimate. We carefully explored several options. He emailed his estimate to me three days later. I noticed that it was a professional estimate complete with drawings, written warranty, DOPL license number, and costs to install the mitigation system. I did my due diligence by checking with DOPL, BBB, and the State of Utah consumer protection agency. Roger and his company have a spotless record with no complaints. I set the date to install. Roger arrived on time and finished the project that day on time. He worked like a very knowledgeable pro in the basement, garage, attic and up on the roof. He cleaned up all of his work areas. Roger gave me a free Radon test kit which I mailed off a few days after the work was completed. The test came back with a Radon level of 1.1, the best you can get. Now, my wife and I feel a lot safer occupying our basement area. I could not be more pleased with the whole process. My best advice for anyone is to skip the two big companies in Utah who cannot come to your home for 50-60 days after you call them. One big company makes estimates over the phone with a somewhat pushy style. I hope Roger puts his company sign up in my yard to advertise his great work.

My family was up to its ankles in water, and Dallin Denbore came rushing in, without an estimate, and told us he had lots of experience in handling home-owners insurance claims, and that he would take care of the paper work. Dallin DID NOT check the terms of our insurance, nor did he give us ANY idea of a project estimate. He repeatedly said "do not worry, your insurance will cover this all", as he ran up a bill of Later, when the insurance claim did not work out, his crew halted work IMMEDIATELY.
