We had a kitchen fire, January 2025, in an apartment that caused about $250 thousand dollars of damage. In selecting a contractor for this insurance claim, we made the mistake of choosing Bull Matrix Restoration before reading all the reviews. Our mistake was trusting them, and not having an attorney read over their contract. It's not consumer friendly in the least. Don't you make the same mistake. What we found out is Bull Matrix Restoration delays work on your insurance claim because the insurance doesn't pay out according to BMR's "payment schedule". Hey BMR, a competent renovation company does this job in about 6 months, and they don't whine incessantly about payment - they know they'll be paid. How do we know this? We know competent contractors. BMR's done enough insurance claims so they know BMR's "payment schedules" don't align with the insurance companies or they shouldn't take the job. Further, the insurance adjuster states that BMR has been overpaid for work completed up to this stage in renovation! They've already been paid more than the work they completed! It's 14 months now, in March 2026, and BMR still hasn't finished the job. Now they state "they are not motivated to work on the job because of this bad review" and stopped work. Now we're to blame for any additional delays. WOW, these guys are using that stale tactic. Nothing like making the victim the oppressor! Meantime the mortgage company and the insurance company are besides themselves with BMR. BMR knew what the insurance claim would pay, but still delayed the job because the insurance didn't fit their "payment schedule. They truly don't care about you, what damage, loss, or inconvenience to you the customer or they'd align their "payment schedule" with the insurance companies. Is this great customer service I ask?? No, no it's not. Hey BMR, time to cowboy up, use due diligence, and just do your job. Fair enough? I'll update this review if necessary. read more
