Anchor Water Damage & Restoration - Water Entered through window

I got a lot of the water sucked up (at midnight, as is always the case) and the carpets pulled back, but it was more than I would be able to handle the next day, given three kids under 6. I found Anchor on Yelp, and based on the amazing reviews, called first thing in the morning. I was not dissappointed. Frank was out within the morning, assessing the damage and gave several options on the scale of diy to full service. He suggested just renting the fans and a dehumidifer, since I'd done most of the work with the carpet and padding. His rental prices were right on par with Home Depot (which I'd also called earlier) save for a small fee for setup/pickup. Which again...three kids. 100% worth it to not have to lug giant carpet fans and a dehumidifer up and down my stairs, and to and from HD. And even though I went the more diy route, Frank was so patient with all my questions about fixing our gutter drainage, foundation repairs, and replacing the carpet pad. Would 100% recommend Anchor. I hope to not need their services again, but if I do, I'd call them back in a heartbeat.

I'm sure it's a very common problem that I have with not enough ventilation in my bathroom. He even called me back to recommend a good caulk! It was like talking to my dad and him telling me what I should do! Such a cool dude! I appreciate you, Frank!

These guys are INCREDIBLE!!…read more My stop and waste valve failed right up next to my home, and I had water in several rooms in my basement (family room, and a bedroom). I contacted the insurance company, and I was expecting to have to replace walls and carpet. They put me in touch with Utah Flood Guys, and told me that they would be able to handle the water, and just to let UFG do their thing. They knocked it out of the park!!! They arrived right on time, and were super calm and collected while I was peppering them with a whole bunch of questions and opinions. I was concerned that just a few fans would not do the job, and id be worrying about a musty smell and possibly left over water. They understood my concerns and took the time to explain the process, to put me at ease. Their equipment was quite impressive, and it was very clear early on that these guys weren't just placing fans. They knew exactly what they were doing, and they were coordinated, clean, and quiet. I can't stress enough, the piece of mind I felt while watching them work. It was super reassuring. They saved me thousands of dollars of repairs, and increased insurance claims. It has been a few months, and I can tell you that there has never even been a whiff of a moldy and musty smell. They left me with a bone-dry basement, and that is all I could to for. They just nailed it! Utah flood guys did a great job, and I want anybody in the same situation to hopefully see my experience, and know to call these guys, because they will take good care of you. I posted the same review on Google, but as a Mac user, I wanted to leave one here as well.

The same day mitigation made all the difference. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and the pricing was more than fair, especially given the urgency of the situation. !!!WARNING!!!…read more DISHONEST AND IMCOMPETENT!!!! MY FAMILY WAS SWINDLED!!! MASSIVE FINANCIAL LOSS!!! WARNING!!! DO NOT USE: Superior Water Restoration - Dallin Denbore Our family home had the basement flooded. Dallin Denbore and his team came in and made a lot of promises, and we were taken advantage of! We lost tens of thousands of dollars! We were left with an unfinished clean-up job, and no plan or funding for a rebuild, as was promised. My family was up to its ankles in water, and Dallin Denbore came rushing in, without an estimate, and told us he had lots of experience in handling home-owners insurance claims, and that he would take care of the paper work. Dallin DID NOT check the terms of our insurance, nor did he give us ANY idea of a project estimate. He repeatedly said "do not worry, your insurance will cover this all", as he ran up a bill of Later, when the insurance claim did not work out, his crew halted work IMMEDIATELY. We were left with two massive storage containers with all our things in them in our driveway, unfinished clean-up in our basement, and a demand to be paid. Dallin EVEN HAD THE AUDACITY to send my family a bill the INCLUDED our damaged things that were on a list to be part of an insurance claim...HE SENT US THE BILL HE INTENDED TO SEND TO OUR INSURANCE COMPANY!!! My family paid him the small amount we received from the insurance policy, and even added more, as a compromise, a very reasonable portion of his bill. He took the check, and for 6-8 months, it appeared to be settled. UNBELIEVABLY, Dallin Denbore contacted my family for MORE money, and threatened to take us to court if we did pay up. IMCOMPETENCY & DISHONESTY!!! MY FAMILY WAS MASSIVELY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!! !!!DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! !!!DALLIN DENBORE CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!! East Millcreek, Utah

After experiencing a flood in my home, I honestly didn't know where to start. The team at PuroClean…read morestepped in immediately and made a stressful situation feel manageable. From the very first interaction, they were professional, respectful, and incredibly thorough. They clearly explained the process, showed up when they said they would, and treated my home with care and consideration the entire time. Their crew was knowledgeable, calm, and efficient exactly what you hope for when your home has been disrupted. What stood out most was their communication and conduct. They kept me informed every step of the way and never made me feel rushed or in the dark. You can tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about the people they're helping. I'm extremely grateful for their help and would absolutely recommend PuroClean to anyone dealing with water damage or a home emergency.

My basement flooded in April of 2024. It took until February of 2025 to fix it all. The…read morecommunication was preposterous or lack thereof. When we hired Puroclean we were 3 months pregnant and my wife literally had our full term child in the time it took to rebuild the basement. It's not that it was the craziest job either. When you hire puroclean you don't get a say in who they sub contract. Every sub contractor we had did very poorly except our carpet guy but we hired him. The moving company, dry wall guy, and plethora of plumbers we had were not good. When we would inquire with our Puroclean pm he would duck our texts and I'd have to pester him for a response. Every single time. The communication was so bad. It took 5 months for them to install a toilet in our downstairs. Granted, our toilet was different, it still wasn't put at the top of their priority list. It doesn't take 10 months to recarpet and repaint /reinstall all drywall. Do not choose Puroclean at all. They don't do the work, they just hire bad subcontractors to do their work. Thankfully in the end everything was replaced but the stress, worry and hassle far outweighed the repair. In the pictures shown, the subcontractor said it would totally be fine. We had to pester him to get them reinstalled in a manner that actually looked good. "There's only a couple fingers space between the panels!" Yea right. Low value company. We had our downstairs furniture baking in the summer son for almost three months, one of the plumbers parked his truck in our driveway for 3 days without coming back and made my wife uncomfortable. When you choose a company to do damage repair, you hope it's quick and fast but the hassle and heartache of this whole ordeal isn't something I'd wish on my worst enemies. I'd wish it on the bad contractors though.
